Abstract

Cooperative learning (CL) has a pivotal role in the teaching and learning process to achieve better academic performance using an attractive teaching trait. This study aims at investigating the use of the Cooperative Learning method type listening team, knowing the students’ response and their learning outcomes in a social science subject. The study is conducted at one of the Public Elementary schools in Rangkasbitung. Classroom Action Research was employed in this study. The Cooperative Learning method type of listening team was conducted within 2 cycles. There are 22 students as the subjects of the current study. The data of the study were collected using two research instruments, they are observation and written test. The results of the study revealed that the activities of both teachers and students in the learning process using a Cooperative Learning type listening team improve students’ learning outcomes. The level of students’ learning mastery in the pre-cycle was 24%, in cycle 1 was 48% and in cycle 2 the passing grade reached 79%. While, the activities of teachers and students increased by 75% in the use of cooperative learning methods of the previous team listening and learning outcomes of students also increased, and 75% of the number of students achieved the standard of minimum completeness of mastery learning predetermined. Based on the data findings, it can be highlighted that the CL method type listening team is an effective method to improve both students’ learning outcomes and their activities during the class.

Abstract

The increasingly modern business world like today is very much about its development, foreign and domestic competition makes companies want to continue to increase productivity. This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline, occupational health, and occupational safety on employee work productivity at PT. Machine Control & Automation. This research is a replication study using a quantitative approach method. Sampling was taken using purposive sampling with a total sample of 84 employees. Data was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents. This research analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis with the results of the analysis showing that work discipline, work health and work safety have an influence on employee productivity as proven by the t-test which shows tcount > ttable. The results of the F-test analysis show that work discipline, work health and work safety have a simultaneous effect on work productivity. This can be proven from the results of the f test by paying attention to the value of Fcount > Ftable. And the significance value is <0.05. The limitations of this research are employee productivity which is influenced by work discipline, work health and work safety. Suggestions for further research are expected to retest based on dimensions and indicators other than those examined in this research

Abstract

Pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga di wilayah Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Banten. Keluarga merupakan lini terkecil dalam mendukung pembangunan suatu negara. Negara dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila seluruh warga negaranya memiliki ekonomi keluarga yang kuat. Oleh karena itu pengabdian ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga melalui pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan. Adapun sasaran pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah warga di Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Banten. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama kurun waktu 6 bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dan juga pendampingan tentang pengelolaan keuangan keluarga. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa warga sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan. Lebih lanjut, dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini, masyarakat khususnya ibu rumah tangga memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola keuangan rumah tangga sesuai dengan program pemerintah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mampu memberikan dukungan agar ibu rumah tangga terhindar dari rentenir. Untuk kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya diharapkan mampu memberikan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan yang memicu semangat ibu rumah tangga untuk menghasilkan pendapatan sendiri demi meningkatkan kesejahteraan kehidupan keluarganya

Abstract

Social science learning through the use of local wisdom values is an effort to instil a sense of concern for others, broaden knowledge about the nation's culture, and is part of an effort to minimize the negative impacts of globalization which cannot be avoided. his study aims to explore the traditions of indigenous communities as teaching materials for high school social studies in the Kasepuhan Adat Cibadak village - Lebak. This study uses a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach. The participants of this study are traditional leaders (Kasepuhan) and members of the indigenous people who live in Kasepuhan Adat Cibadak. The data were obtained from interview, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the data findings, the study reveals that there are well-maintained traditions in this area such as Kabendon, Sedekah Bumi, Ujungan, Mapag pare nyiram, and pantangan. These traditions of indigenous people in Kasepuhan adat Cibadak Warungbanten can be used as materials or sources of social science learning. Therefore, Social Science teachers should think creatively in presenting teaching materials for Social Science subjects at schools.
