Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of external factors and internal when making a decision to buy Borneo Tribune Daily newspaper. The author uses descriptive methods f and using 100 respondents were using purposive sampling. External variable is an indicator for culture, sub-culture,social class, reference groups / reference and families. Indicators for the internal variables are motivation, perception, learning, and beliefs and attitudes. While the indicator for the decision variables measured through 5 stages of buying decision process konsume purchase. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study revealed that the external and internal factors significant and positive influence in the purchase decision Borneo Tribune Daily News of 0.581 and 0.400. Based on this value it can be concluded that external factors have a greater influence than internal factors. simultaneous correlation coefficient indicates a strong relationship category. value of F at 145.661> 3.09 so the value Ftable simultaneously (synchronously) does not have significant influence in the purchase decision Borneo Daily News Tribune was denied. t value> of ttable, so the null hypothesis that external factors and internal states partially customers do not have a significant influence in the purchase decision Borneo Daily News Tribune was denied.Keywords: Faktor internal, faktor eksternal, pengambilan keputusan pembelian, Borneo Tribun.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to determine the performance and customers expectations about the service quality of Real7 Barbershop which expected by customers after receiving services from Real7 Barbershop and what should be improved in the services provided by Real7 Barbershop. The samples are taken using simple random sampling method. Simple random sampling is a sampling design in which every single element in the population has a known and equal probability to be selected as a subject. Data analysis are in this research using Analysis of Importance Performance. The results of this research prove that the level of customer expectations of service quality in Real7 Barbershop Yogyakarta is 3.78, where the value is in the condition of customers have high expectations of service quality in Real7 Barbershop Yogyakarta. While, the level of customer performance service quality in Real7 Barbershop Yogyakarta is 4.15, where the value is in good condition of the customer service quality at Real7 Barbershop Yogyakarta. From the servqual analysis results all items are in a positive gap so that customers are satisfied with the quality of services provided by Real7 Barbershop. Conclusively, the five-dimensional servqual value is positive, which indicated that, the overall quality of the service provided by the firm (Real7 Barbershop) meets customer expectations. Factors that must be modified are in quadrant 1, which is the comfort level of the waiting room and the level of cleanliness.

Abstract

With reference to the background of the problem above, the formulation of the problem to be discussed is formulated, namely "How is the student data management information system at SDN 19 Sumber marga telang?". The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. Quantitative research method is one type of research whose specifications are systematic, well-planned and clearly structured from the beginning to the making of the research design. Based on the results of the Blackbox test, it can be concluded that the purpose of this research has been achieved and designed an information system for managing data for SDN Sumber marga telang students computerized using the PHP programming language and using the Mysql database which can make it easier for staff to manage data and obtain the required information. quality and can assist in the decision-making process

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan website dan mengimplementasikan yang mengelola, surat masuk dan surat keluar dengan lebih efektif pada ruang lingkup organisasi HMTI di universitas muhammadiyah palembang. Perancangan/metode/pendekatan: metode kualitatif. Hasil: Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah website dan berbagai fitur seperti pengarsipan,notifikasi status surat serta manajemen pengguna dengan adanya sistem ini meningkatkan efesiensi pada pengarsipan. Keaslian/ state of the art: Perbedaan dari penelitian sebelumnya pada penelitian ini pada sistem penelitian sebelumnya belum banyak fitur yang tersedia jadi hal tersebut pada penelitian mengembangkan lebih banyak fitur.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged various sectors, including the world of work, to adapt to more modern and efficient systems. Accurate data management and the use of technology such as computers are now a must, especially amidst the demands of globalization and economic dynamics. In this context, websites emerge as relevant media for conveying information, including job vacancies. Currently, the challenges in finding jobs and meeting workforce needs are major problems experienced by many levels of society. Although the recruitment process has been digitized, there is still a gap between the number of vacancies available and qualified job seekers. To overcome this obstacle, the development of a web-based job vacancy information system is considered an effective solution. This system accelerates the dissemination of job vacancy information and facilitates access for job seekers and companies in the recruitment process. This study uses direct observation methods at the Palembang Multipurpose Building and literature studies from various literature for system development. This system is designed using the SDLC model, including the Waterfall and Agile methods, which ensure a structured and flexible development process. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a web-based job vacancy information system can improve recruitment efficiency, provide wider access for job seekers in Palembang, and help companies get suitable candidates. This system is expected to be an effective means of connecting applicants with job opportunities more easily, quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

The room reservation process at Hotel Royal Asia Palembang is still carried out manually, requiring customers to visit the hotel directly to make a booking. This method is inefficient as it consumes additional time, effort, and costs, particularly for customers who live far from the hotel. To address this issue, this study aims to design and develop a web-based hotel reservation information system that enables customers to make bookings online. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database, while the Unified Modeling Language (UML) was utilized as a tool for system design. Through this system, customers can easily make room reservations online by selecting the desired check-in and check-out dates without the need to visit the hotel in person. Moreover, the system assists hotel management in organizing reservation data, room availability, and customer information in an integrated manner. The testing results indicate that the developed online hotel reservation information system functions effectively and provides convenience, efficiency, and improved service quality for Hotel Royal Asia Palembang customers.

Abstract

Information technology continues to grow in response to societal needs, including the education sector which increasingly depends on digital systems. One of the essential processes in school administration is the Admission of New Students (PPDB), which serves as the first stage of school services to the public. At PAUD TK Dharma Wanita Kebur Village, the PPDB process is still conducted conventionally, requiring parents or guardians to come directly to the school, resulting in inefficiencies in time, effort, and data management. This study develops a web-based PPDB information system as a solution to improve the accuracy, speed, and convenience of the admission process. The Waterfall method is used in system development, consisting of sequential stages including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was conducted through literature studies and analysis of existing registration procedures. The designed system includes features such as user login, online registration, prospective student data input, validation, and automated registration processing. The final result is a web-based PPDB system that is expected to make the student admission process more efficient, structured, and accessible for both schools and prospective students, while supporting better data management in educational institutions.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, human dependence on telecommunications continues to grow, particularly in communication technology. Modern technology has become essential for enabling fast interaction and efficient information exchange. Internet networks not only provide rapid access to information but also allow users to share and obtain data from various global sources. South Sumatra has experienced significant expansion in internet infrastructure, with more than 4,000 BTS (Base Transceiver Stations) installed to support stable communication, including in Lahat Regency. The region currently offers 2G, 3G, and 4G services from providers such as Telkomsel and Indosat. However, internet performance is often disrupted by unexpected power outages and uneven infrastructure in remote areas, resulting in unstable connectivity. This study aims to evaluate network quality at PTPN 7 Senabing Unit, Lahat Regency, using Quality of Service (QoS) parameters including throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. Measurements were conducted using Wireshark to monitor and capture data packet traffic. Results indicate variations in delay between daytime and nighttime transmissions. During daytime hours, the delay value reached 6.4 ms, falling into the “Very Good” category.

Abstract

In the era of rapid globalization and information technology development, government institutions are required to adopt reliable and efficient technological systems to support public services. The Tanah Abang District Office, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province, is responsible for various administrative services such as issuing birth certificates, identity cards, and other official correspondence, all of which rely heavily on stable network performance. However, current conditions indicate frequent internet slowdowns caused by unmanaged bandwidth usage and an unknown number of active wireless users, resulting in decreased service efficiency, especially during large data transfers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method as a bandwidth management solution to improve network performance. Network quality is evaluated using Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss. Data collection and traffic monitoring were conducted using the Wireshark application to capture and analyze network performance in real time. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into improving network stability and service effectiveness within government offices.

Abstract

In Indonesia, various agencies and companies are increasingly realizing the importance of digitalization in human resource (HR) management processes. Financial institutions, such as banks, which have complex organizational structures and a large number of employees, require reliable and integrated information systems to support personnel administration effectively. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), as one of the largest and oldest banks in Indonesia, has an extensive operational network reaching the sub-district level, including the BRI Sub-Branch Office (KCP) 16 Ilir in Palembang City. This unit plays a crucial role in delivering financial services while also managing internal HR administration. However, HR management at KCP 16 Ilir is still conducted conventionally using physical documents and simple applications such as Microsoft Excel, leading to inefficiencies in data retrieval, attendance recapitulation, reporting, and performance monitoring. This study aims to address these challenges by developing a dynamic web-based human resource information system. The proposed system enables centralized employee data management, online attendance recording, digital leave submission, and performance evaluation reporting. Developed using PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap, the system is designed to be cost-effective, responsive, and user-friendly, thereby improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in HR management at the branch level.
