Abstract

This research aimed to determine the response of the growth of oil palm seedlings with various media volume in the main nursery. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The study lasted for 7 months starting in January 2012 until July 2012. The research was carried out experimentally by using completely randomized design consisting of three (3) treatment with 6 (six) replicates that contained 18 experimental units. Each unit consists of 2 seeds. Total whole plant 36 seedlings were planted in 36 polybags. Treatment is the media volume consists of 3 levels ie: V1 = 8 liter/polybag, V2 = 7 liter/polybag, and V3 = 6 liter/polybag. Parameters measured were seedling height, number of leaf midrib, stump diameter, crown root ratio and dry weight of seedlings. The results showed that significantly affects the media volume increase in plant height parameters. But non-significantly to the amount of leaf midrib, plant bulbs diameter, crown ratio and dry weight of seedling roots. Keywords: media volume, oil palm seedlings.

Abstract

Students with physical disabilities often face various complex and diverse challenges in living their campus life. These challenges are not only limited to academic aspects, but also cover various aspects of daily life, including social interaction, access to campus facilities, and participation in various extracurricular activities. One of the most crucial aspects and often a major obstacle is the issue of mobility. Mobility is a very important basic need, but for students with physical disabilities, moving from one place to another on campus is often a very big challenge. Many buildings and facilities on campus are not designed with accessibility needs for people with disabilities in mind, so they have to struggle harder to be able to move around, attend classes, or simply participate in campus activities. This is where the important role of the Wheelchair with Portable Ramp (WAFEL) comes in, an innovation specifically designed to help overcome this mobility problem. WAFEL offers a very practical and effective solution, allowing students with physical disabilities to move more freely and independently in carrying out daily activities on campus. With WAFEL, students with physical disabilities are not only helped in terms of mobility but also have greater opportunities to participate fully in campus life, which can ultimately improve their quality of life and academic achievement

Abstract

This article discusses using digital technology to increase administrative efficiency in community organizations such as the PKK. The service focuses on providing training in using Microsoft Word and Excel to PKK women in Pangauban Village to overcome manual administration challenges. The research method used is community-based participatory research (CBPR), which involves the active participation of service subjects. The results show an increase in participants' digital skills, efficiency in managing data and minutes, and an increase in participants' confidence in using technology. This program positively impacts the empowerment of PKK women and has the potential to develop technology initiatives at the village level.

Abstract

As part of the integrated efforts that need to be made to achieve the target of becoming a world-class energy company, PHE SHU needs to carry out a series of strategic initiative programs related to the implementation of RCM which need to be carried out in several field including all Regions, Zones, Work Areas and Assets. In the context of implementing RCM at PHE SHU, management has carried out a series of massive and simultaneous activities during 2022-2023 period, both debriefing several workshops & socialization of RCM understanding, issuing task forces and director's orders, conducting site visits & field implementation pilot projects in the onshore area (GTC SKG Subang Field) as well as offshore area (GTG X-Ray Jatibarang Field), performing sharing sessions/focus group discussion, review maturity level assessment, initiate various continuous improvement and its replication to other fields, as well as database development and created Pertamina Reliability Data (PAREDA) applications.
