Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan ramuan herbal terhadap income over feed cost ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah: ayam broiler DOC. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan ramuan herbal dalam air minum dengan level penggunaan sebagai berikut : P0: tanpa penambahan ramuan herbal, P1:air + 10 % ramuan herbal, P2: air + 15 % ramuan herbal, P3: air + 20% ramuan herbal. Variabel yang di amati dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumsi pakan, biaya pakan, dan income over feed cost ayam broiler. Data yang diperoleh (income over feed cost) di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam dengan rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa biaya pakan tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok perlakuan P3 diikuti berturut-turut oleh P1, P2, P0 dan yang terendah adalah P0. Sedangkan pada P0 biaya pakan paling rendah karena tidak ada penggunaan ramuan herbal. Berdasarkan data penerimaan, penerimaan tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok kontrol P1 Rp 31.430,6 sedangkan penerimaan terandah terdapat pada kelompok P0 sebesar Rp 24.814,8.100 Rendahnya penerimaan dalam penelitian ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya bobot badan ayam broiler selama penelitian. Income Over Feed Cost selama penelitian yang tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok P3 (3.568), dan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan P1 (979) P0 (1.964), P2 (1.937) karena biaya pakan lebih tinggi dari pada penerimaan.Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan ramuan herbal dalam air minum berpengaruh sangat nyata (P< 0,01) terhadap Income Over Feed Cost. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ramuan herbal sebagai feed additive memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap IOFC ayam broiler. Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using herbal ingredients on income over feed costs of broiler chickens. The material used in this study was: broiler DOC. This study was designed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and each treatment consisted of 4 replications. The treatment used in this study is the use of herbal ingredients in drinking water with the use level as follows: P0: without the addition of herbal ingredients, P1: water + 10% herbal ingredients, P2: water + 15% herbal ingredients, P3: water + 20% herbal concoctions. The variables observed in this study were feed consumption, feed costs, and income over feed costs for broiler chickens. The data obtained (income over feed cost) is analyzed using a variety of analysis with a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the highest feed costs were found in the P3 treatment group followed by P1, P2, P0 and the lowest was P0. Whereas at P0 the cost of feed is lowest because there is no use of herbal ingredients. Based on acceptance data, the highest revenue was in the P1 control group of Rp. 31,430.6 while the lowest acceptance was in the P0 group of Rp. 24,814.8,100. The low acceptance in this study was caused by the low body weight of broiler chickens during the study. Income Over Feed Cost during the highest research was found in the P3 group (3,568), and the lowest was found in the treatment of P1 (979) P0 (1,964), P2 (1,937) because the cost of feed was higher than acceptance. drinking water has a very significant effect (P <0.01) on Income Over Feed Cost. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of herbal ingredients as additive feeds has a very significant effect on IOFC broiler chickens.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan tepung biji durian dan nangka pada berbagi level terhadap kualitas bakso daging itik petelur afkir. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini daging itik petelur afkir sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan bakso, tepung biji buah durian, dan tepung biji buah nangka. Metode yang digunakan adalah percobaan lapangan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah kontrol P0 (tanpa penambahan tepung biji durian atau tepung biji nangka), dan penambahan tepung P1 (5%), P2 (10%), P3 (15%), P4 (20%). Variabel yang diamati meliputi uji organoleptik dan daya susut masak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penambahan kadar pati biji durian dan nangka pada tingkat signifikan 1% diperoleh hasil yang sangat signifikan (P<0,01) sehingga hipotesis diterima, yang berarti ada pengaruh penambahan tingkat pati. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung biji durian dan nangka 5% memiliki tingkat kesukaan tertinggi dan 20% memiliki tingkat kesukaan terendah. Abstract The research was aimed to test the use of durian and jackfruit seeds at various levels on the quality of duck laying duck meatballs.This research was conducted on 20 November 2016 until 20 December 2016. The method used was field experiment in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment used is P0 Control (without the addition of durian seed flour or jackfruit seed flour), and addition of flour P1 (5%), P2 (10%), P3 (15%), and P4 (20%).The material used is durian seed flour, jackfruits seed flour, and laying duck laying. The observed variables include the organoleptic test and shrinking power.The results showed that treatment of the addition of seed starch level of durian and jackfruit at significant level of 1% obtained very significant results (P<0,01) so that the hypothesis is accepted, which means there is an influence on the addition of starch level. This research concluded that the use of durian and jackfruit flour 5% level has the highest level of favorite and the level of 20% has a low level of favorite.

Abstract

Community service groups duck breeders in the village Wonokerso districts Pakisaji aims to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers in the utilization and processing of potential sources of local feed ingredients, exploitation of breeding stock is superior, then is able and skilled in processing of livestock products as well as the processing of manure waste into organic fertilizer, so as to increase the income and welfare of farmers. IbM program results indicate that the public response duck farmers are very good and enthusiastic for proactive follow the program in all the activities for outreach, training, demoplot, mentoring and evaluation. The existence of these service programs have a positive impact on the environment ie partners provide solutions or alternative solutions to problems faced by groups of farmers in the village and the surrounding community. In the early stages of coordination of activities with the partner group leaders assisted with student involvement. Submission of this extension materials with discussions to evaluate the response of farmers to the material activities and sharing of experiences between the teams servant with targeted partners. The benefits of these activities can increase motivation and attention of farmers to practice the material in accordance with the activities of the problems faced, so that at the end of this activity can be a solution to the problems or difficulties faced by farmers in the field. The visit was also carried out at the end of the activity to evaluate how far the understanding group of farmers against the material provided. Groups of farmers and communities want their sustainable activities, not just stop at the end of this activity alone. Food products, agro-processing and organic fertilizers as well as the birth of calves that excel not just a dream but a reality that they or ranchers are able and can market the results or the products they make. Thus the community service program activities can be an opportunity for them to improve the income and welfare of his life.

Abstract

Farmers in Kromengan Village, Kromengan District, Malang Regency have problems providing forage feed for their goats. Appropriate technology offered on this community services program is the silage technology on agricultural by-product. A target of this community services programes is a group of goat farmers "Sinar Harapan" with the number of farmers 15 people who have of 3-4 goats respectively. The feed ingredients used to make silage are rice straw, sugar cane, pollard, urea, starbio, EM4, and water. Complete feed composed include silage 51.57% and leguminous 48.43%. The results of community services program activities increased: (1) the understanding of target group about complete feed formulation based on agricultural by-product as goat feed about 90%; (2) goat body weight gain 150 g / head/day; and (3) farmer income of Rp 432,109 ,-/month. It is suggested to implement community services program by utilizing silage technology which based local agricultural by-product based as roughage source for ruminants.
