Abstract

Teacher competence is very important in order to achieve success in learning. The purpose of writing this article is to improve the quality of the learning process which is focused on improving teacher skills in teaching. Based on the results of observations and discussions with teachers in one of the SMKs, problems were found in learning, one of which was that students were not active and when given a stimulus they did not respond well. Researchers want to implement Lesson Study as a solution to overcome these problems. Lesson Study is a model of developing the teaching profession through collaborative learning. Lesson Study involves 3 components, namely model teachers, observers, and students. Based on the learning results of the first cycle, 68% was obtained and the third cycle was 89%. In addition, based on the results of teacher observations, learning debate texts using internet media has a positive impact on student activity, giving the problems discussed makes students explore knowledge by expressing various ideas. In addition, Lesson Study activities provide valuable experience for teachers.

Abstract

Pada saat pembelajaran menulis, banyak siswa yang merasa kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide dan menggunakan bahasa dalam tulisannya. Selain itu, guru masih menggunakan metode tradisional sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan model Student Team Achievement Division dalam pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi. Penelitian berikut bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks negosiasi memakai model Student Team Achievement Division. Penelitian berikut menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yakni menggambarkan hasil analisis mendalam dari seorang peneliti. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel dari 25 siswa kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Cimahi. Hasil kemampuan siswa menulis teks negosiasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 12% dari 25 siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi dan masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Selanjutnya, 72% dari 25 siswa memperoleh skor ke dalam kategori baik, sedangkan siswa lainnya memperoleh skor ke dalam kategori cukup dengan presentase sebesar 16%. Kemampuan siswa kelas X IPS 2 meraih total skor sebanyak 2028 dengan rata-rata 81,12% dan dikategorikan baik. Maka, model Student Team Achievement Division efektif dan cocok digunakan pada proses pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of evaluation instruments which are carried out at the end of Indonesian language text learning mmaterials to avluaste the learning process and preparation of questions based on HOTS criteria. The aim of the study was to find out the application of HOTS based formatice test queations to learning procedural texts of class VII SMP. The research method used is qualitative, namely a research method tha focuses on quality or topics that are the most important thing in a product or service. The research instrument used is the test. The results of this stufy stated that out of 3 students, there were 23 students who got results in the forms of numbers below the KKM, so it could be said they did not have the skills high level thinking. The preparation of formative test questions based on the HOTS level applied to procedural text learning for class VII SMP can be used to evaluaste students proficiency in practicing higher order thinking skills, as well as helping studenta to be able to associate procedure texts with other types of texts in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difficulty of students in understanding learning materials Indonesian especially writing fable texts. Based on the results of observations made by researchers, the causative factors are low learning motivation and the ability to think of students in learning activities. In addition, the use of teaching materials in schools is also still conventional, only using package books. Teaching materials in the form of package books allow teacher center learning-based learning activities or learning carried out in one direction, where educators act as the core benchmark that provides material in learning. Therefore, the need for teaching materials that allow students to learn independently so that learning results are obtained optimally, especially in learning to write fable texts, one of which is teaching materials in the form of electronic modules. The purpose of this study was to find out how students respond to the use of Canva application-assisted electronic modules in learning fable texts in junior high school. The method used is qualitative descriptive with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The use of electronic modules was responded very well by students, it can be seen from the final results of data processing that there were 90.22% of responses that stated positive, the highest results were obtained in the third statement with a percentage of 97.71% and the first and fifth statements with a percentage of 96%.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan menulis yang harus dikuasai siswa adalah menulis teks eksposisi. Pada pembelajaran menulis, kemandirian sangat dibutuhkan, karena siswa diharuskan dapat melakukan sesuatu tanpa campur tangan orang lain. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, maka dapat diidentifikasi permasalahan siswa dalam 1. Kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi, 2. Kemandirian belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain control group pre-test-post-test design. Kelas eksperimen pembelajarannya menggunakan metode penemuan, sedangkan kelas kontrol pembelajarannya menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen 33,29 dan kelas kontrol 33,92, kemudian hasil uji T pretest diperoleh sig. 0,595. Nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 74,92, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 66,71, kemudian perhitungan MannWhitney pada posttest diperoleh hasil 0,001. Nilai rata-rata kemandirian belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 87,83, sedangkan kelas kontrol 76,00. Berdasarkan hasil uji MannWhitney diperoleh sig. 0,000. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan metode penemuan lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Serta, terdapat asosiasi yang tergolong tinggi sekali antara kemandirian belajar siswa dengan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi.
