Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of Occupational Health and Safety, Physical Work Environment, and Motivation on Worker Satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive analysis to assess a data characteristic. The population in this research object is 70 people, and the sample of all members of the population is 70 people. Saturated sample is a sampling technique in this study, because it uses all members of the existing population. The data collection method used a questionnaire and was analyzed using the method of multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 22. The results showed that Occupational Health and Safety had a positive and significant effect on Worker Satisfaction, the Physical Work Environment did not have a positive and significant effect on Worker Satisfaction, Motivation had an effect positive and significant to Employee Satisfaction. As well as Occupational Health and Safety, Physical Work Environment, and Motivation simultaneously affect Worker Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Democratic Leadership Style, Work Environment and Extrinsic Motivation on Affective Commitment in Employees of the Yogyakarta Special Region Government Transportation Office. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study is all employees of the Yogyakarta Special Region Government Transportation Office totaling 53 respondents. Data collection techniques with questionnaire dissemination methods. Data analysis was performed by validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis with a significant 0.05 show that democratic leadership style has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment, work environment has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment, extrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment and democratic leadership style, work environment and extrinsic motivation simultaneously affect affective commitment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain organizational commitment as a mediation between organizational culture, extrinsic motivation, and democratic leadership on job satisfaction at the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.. The population in this study amounted to 70 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was a census by taking the entire population of 70 respondents. The data collection used a questionnaire that was advertised to employees. This type of research uses quantitative methods and the use of primary data by involving the Smart PLS application. The analysis method focuses on descriptive analysis and inferential analysis consisting of Indicator Test, Model Fit Test, Hypothesis Test and Path Analysis. The results of this study prove that (1) Organizational culture influences organizational commitment (2) Extrinsic motivation influences organizational commitment (3) Democratic leadership influences organizational commitment (4) Organizational culture influences job satisfaction (5) Extrinsic motivation influences job satisfaction (6) Democratic leadership influences job satisfaction (7) Organizational commitment influences job satisfaction (8) Organizational commitment can be a mediating variable between the influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction (9) Organizational commitment can be a mediating variable between the influence of extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction (10) Organizational commitment can be a mediating variable between the influence of democratic leadership on job satisfaction.
