Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the validity and practicality of scrapbook learning media developed in social studies learning material on the type of business of Indonesian society. The type of research is Research and Development. The model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The product validity test was carried out by filling out a questionnaire given to three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and language experts, and the product practicability test was carried out to teachers and students of class V B. The data obtained were obtained from observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data analysis of product validity and practicality. The results of the acquisition of validity data values obtained from experts get an average score of 78.8% with a valid category based on questionnaire criteria data. The practicality of scrapbook media was assessed by distributing student and teacher response questionnaires. At the small group stage, the score was 85.8%, at the large group stage, the score was 80.7%, and the teacher response questionnaire obtained a score of 91.1% with an average overall score obtained of 85.8% with a very practical category based on questionnaire criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the scrapbook media is included in the valid category and is very practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of ice cream stick learning media can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in multiplication material in grade II students of SD Negeri 59 Palembang. This research uses an experimental method, namely True Experiment Design. With Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study was class IIA and IIB students totaling 55 students, a random sampling technique was taken. Based on the results of the hypothesis test conducted by this researcher using the t-test of two free samples (Independent sample t-test) obtained tcount results of 5.075 and ttable value = 1.674 with α = 0.05 and df = 5, then tcalculate > ttable so that H0 is rejected. From the hypothetical data, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the application of ice cream stick learning media to mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students of SD Negeri 59 Palembang.

Abstract

Mathematics learning on data presentation material in elementary schools still faces several challenges, including low student learning outcomes and the limited use of technology-based learning media. These conditions cause students to be less engaged and experience difficulties in understanding data presentation concepts, particularly bar charts. This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Wordwall application on students’ learning outcomes in data presentation material for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 94 Palembang. The research was conducted during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 29 fourth-grade students selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments comprising 12 valid and reliable multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and paired sample t-tests via SPSS 26. The findings revealed that the mean pretest score of 44.96 increased to 77.79 in the posttest, with learning mastery improving from 0.00% to 75.86%. Furthermore, the hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant improvement before and after the intervention. In conclusion, the utilization of the Wordwall-based interactive learning media is proven effective in enhancing elementary students' conceptual understanding and mathematics learning achievement. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran matematika pada materi penyajian data di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, seperti rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dan kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep penyajian data, khususnya diagram batang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi penyajian data kelas IV SD Negeri 94 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment) dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 29 siswa kelas IV yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes berupa pretest dan posttest yang terdiri atas 12 butir soal pilihan ganda yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 44,96 meningkat menjadi 77,79 pada posttest, dengan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 0,00% menjadi 75,86%. Hasil uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, yang membuktikan adanya perbedaan capaian hasil belajar yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar.
