Abstract

The increase in fuel consumption of oil has an impact on the energy crisis. Biogasoline is one of the alternative energies that has the potential to solve the problem. The fact that biogasoline results are low is a challenge for further research. One of the methods used to produce biogasoline is the catalytic cracking method. Such methods generally use catalyst to help to speed up the reaction. HZSM-5 is one of the catalysts that has been widely used in various applications. In this review article will compare the value of % biogasoline between several types of crushed vegetable oils with hzsm-5 catalysts using catalytic cracking methods. Based on the results of the analysis it can be known that the method of catalytic cracking using the catalyst HZSM-5 produces a good % biogasoline value so the use of catalyst HZSM-5 is recommended in vegetable oil reactions. In addition, there are factors that affect the value of % biogasoline namely: rector type, operating temperature, reaction time, surface area and pore size catalyst HZSM-5 as well as vegetable oil type.

Abstract

The rapid development of industry causes the need for fuel and energy to increase, especially fossil fuels (petroleum). This has the effect of an energy crisis. Biomass is of particular concern as one of the renewable energy sources to address the current energy crisis.  Biomass consists of hemiselulose, cellulose, and lignin that can be converted into liquids (bio-oils) of pyrolysis. One of the wastes that can be converted into bio-oil is tobacco waste. Tobacco waste is produced by more than 2 million tons eachs. The waste has the potential to be further processed into bio oil using fast pyrolysis method with efficient and quality bio-oil manufacturing measures. The bio-oil results from tobacco waste using the fast pyrolysis method have values of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and other organic compounds and the H/C ratio is greater than the yield of tobacco waste bio-oil using the low pyrolysis method. Where the bio-oil of tobacco waste using the fast pyrolysis method has a high heating value equivalent to the distribution of hydrocarbons from biodiesel, which means it has the potential as an alternative energy to replace petroleum. Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku petunjuk praktikum kimia anorganik yang disertai dengan Material Data Sheet. Untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari buku petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan, maka dilakukan penelitian pengembangan mengacu pada R & D yang dikemukakan oleh Plomp (2010). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh beberapa temuan sebagai berikut: (1) buku petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan telah valid ditinjau dari kriteria isi, kriteria kebahasaan, kriteria penyajian, dan kriteria kegrafikan; (2) buku petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan telah praktis ditinjau dari angket respon mahasiswa dan hasil observasi aktivitas mahasiswa; (3) buku petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan telah efektif ditinjau dari hasil belajar mahasiswa. Kata kunci: pengembangan, buku petunjuk praktikum, Material Safety Data Sheet. Abstract - The purpose of this  research is to develop experimental guidance book for inorganic chemistry with material safety data sheet. Design of development experimental guidance book was R & D by Plomp (2010). Data of the research was analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of the research were: (1) the experimental guidance book in developing are good in content validity, language validity, presentation validity, and graphic validity; (2) the experimental guidancw book in developing are practice based on university students response and university students activity; (3) the experimental guidance book in developing are efective based on learning outcome. Keywords: development, experimental guidance book, Material Safety Data Sheet.

Abstract

Learning materials have been developed in inorganic chemistry elements of transition elements have been developed online. The flow of the development model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel is 4-D (four D Models). This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but in this study it is limited to the develop stage. Based on the results of observations of student activities and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the material in the Inorganic Chemistry of the Transition Element is feasible.

Abstract

Wilayah Pasuruan memiliki kawasan hutan mangrove yang umumnya menempati daerah muara sungai, menjadikan Pasuruan wilayah yang berpotensi untuk menghasilkan produk-produk olahan dari tanaman Mangrove. Salah satu kelompok usaha pengolah dan pemasaran mangrove adalah kelompok Mina Sentosa yang memproduksi minuman segar buah mangrove. Pengembangan variasi produk minuman segar mangrove baik jenis maupun kemasan merupakan faktor yang penting untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan pemasaran. Kemasan minuman segar mangrove produksi kelompok Mina Sentosa masih terbatas pada satu jenis rasa yaitu original untuk ukuran botol 330 mL sehingga menyebabkan terbatasnya kapasitas produksi dan pangsa pasar maupun konsumen minuman segar mangrove. Untuk itu pelatihan pada diversikasi produk minuman segar mangrove perlu untuk dilakukan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan terhadap kelompok mitra Mina Sentosa Pasuruan meliputi pelatihan penggunaan alat cup sealer ukuran 125 ml dan 500mL untuk minuman segar mangrove serta diversifikasi warna dan rasa minuman segar mangrove dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan perluasan pemasaran.Kata Kunci : Mangrove, Pasuruan, Minuman Mangrove, Diversifikasi Kemasan

Abstract

Abstrak. Sintesis semikonduktor TiO2 dan ZnO diharapkan dapat meningkatkan sifat fisik dan karakteristik katalis. ZnO berperan sebagai dopan yang melapisi permukaan kristal TiO2, sehingga mampu meningkatkan energi gap dari semikonduktor TiO2. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu kalsinasi terhadap karakteristik komposit TiO2/ZnO. Sol TiO2 dan sol ZnO disintesis menggunakan metode sol-gel. Komposit TiO2/ZnO dikasinasi pada suhu 400 °C, 450 °C 500 °C, dan 550 °C. Karakterisasi yang dilakukan yaitu analisis dengan instrument Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) yang menunjukkan terdapat gugus fungsi -OH, Ti-O dan Zn-O pada komposit yang terbentuk. Dan analisis X-Ray Driffraction (XRD) yang menunjukkan fasa anatase dan ukuran kristal komposit TiO2/ZnO didapatkan semakin tinggi suhu kalsinasi maka semakin besar ukuran kristalnya pada komposit yang terbentuk. Kata kunci : Komposit, TiO2/ZnO, Sol-gel Abstract. The synthesis of TiO2 and ZnO semiconductors is expected to improve the physical properties and characteristics of the catalyst. ZnO acts as a dopant that coats the surface of TiO2 crystals, thereby increasing the energy gap of the TiO2 semiconductor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of calcination temperature on the characteristics of TiO2/ZnO composites. TiO2 sol and ZnO sol were synthesized using the sol-gel method. TiO2/ZnO composites were cured at 400 °C, 450 °C 500 °C, and 550 °C. The characterizations carried out was the Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) instrument analysis which showed that there were an -OH, Ti-O and Zn-O functional groups in the formed composite. And X-Ray Driffraction (XRD) analysis which showed the anatase phase and crystalline size of TiO2/ZnO composites, the higher the calcination temperature, the greater the crystal size in the formed composite. Abstract

This study aims to decide the influence of the Learning Cycle 6 Phase - Think Pair Share learning model on knowledge results and student retention on chemical equilibrium material. The research design was a quasi-experimental research design without a pretest (posttest-only control group design). All students of class XI MAN 1 Kota Malang were used as the population in this study. The sample selection was carried out using the cluster random sampling technique and 2 research groups were acquired. Class XI MIPA 6 was selected as the experimental class using the Learning Cycle 6 Phase - Think Pair Share learning model while class XI MIPA 5 was selected as the control class using the Learning Cycle 6 Phase. The number of students in class XI MIPA 5 was 36 students, while the amount of students in class XI MIPA 6 was 34 students. The measurement instrument used is a test. The test was carried out after being given treatment to measure students' skills to recognize the concept of chemical equilibrium. In addition, there is a retention test that is held 1 week and 1 month after students study chemical equilibrium material without prior notification. Test the hypothesis to determine whether there was a substantial difference in education outcomes and retention between schoolchildren taught by the 6-Phase Learning Cycle - Think Pair Share learning model and students taught with the 6-Phase Learning Cycle model in chemical equilibrium material with the Independent Sample T-Test. The data analysis technique used consisted of preliminary analysis consisting of a normality test and homogeneity test and analysis of results consisting of hypothesis testing. The outcomes of the Independent Sample T Test showed a likelihood worth of fewer than 0.05 which indicated that there was a substantial difference between the knowledge outcomes of the experimental group and the control group. The probability values of retention tests I and II are also smaller than 0.05. This shows that there is a substantial difference amongst the retention test of the experimental group and the control group on retention tests I and II. The outcomes of this research show that the midpoint knowledge outcomes in the experimental group are higher than the midpoint knowledge outcomes in the control group, namely 77 in the experimental class and 71 in the control class. This proves that the Learning Cycle 6 Phase - Think Pair Share learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes of MAN 1 Kota Malang on chemical equilibrium material. This model also affects student retention.

Abstract

Kurangnya ketersediaan dan rendahnya kemampuan guru untuk menyusun Perangkat Pembelajaran Berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik di masa pemulihan pembelajaran pasca pandemi yang menyebabkan kemauan peserta didik untuk belajar mengalami penurunan, peserta didik tidak bersungguh-sungguh dalam belajar karena terbiasa menggunakan internet sebagai sumber belajar. Program yang dapat dijalankan dengan guru yang tergabung dalam Guru SMA Pondok Pesantren Bayt Al Hikmah sebagai mitra dan tim pelaksana PPM–PKM adalah perlunya peningkatan kompetensi guru terhadap pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kecakapan dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini meliputi 1) Persiapan, 2) Penulisan, 3) Pelaksanaan Pelatihan, 4) Tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi, dan 5) Publikasi. Kegiatan ini memiliki target yang ingin dicapai yaitu meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang Berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini meliputi 1) Penugasan Pembuatan Perangkat, 2) Hasil Angket Respon, 3) Tingkat Kehadiran Peserta, dan 4) Kelengkapan Penugasan.

Abstract

Pasuruan menjadi salah satu kota pengelolaan komoditi rumput laut karena letak geografisnya yang dekat dengan pesisir pantai sehingga potensi hasil perikanan dapat diandalkan. Salah satu desa yang telah menjadi pengelola komoditi tersebut adalah Desa Jarangan Rejoso. Desa Jarangan Rejoso memiliki salah satu kelompok Poklahsar bernama Mina Lestari Faiz yang telah menghasilkan kerupuk serta makanan ringan yang berbahan dasar rumput laut. Akan tetapi, produk yang dihasilkan masih menggunakan proses penggorengan sederhana dan juga kurang bervariasi dari segi rasa maupun kemasan. Produsen olahan pangan dari rumput laut tersebut juga kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang bahan aditif pangan, standar mutu produk pangan yang dihasilkan, serta kurang memahami strategi pengemasan dan pemasaran yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, pendampingan dan pelatihan terkait peningkatan kualitas produksi dari sisi pengolahan, pengemasan serta pemasaran perlu dilakukan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan yang memfasilitasi diskusi pengetahuan serta ilmu kepada kelompok mitra serta monitoring dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari praktik yang memuat materi pengelolaan produk berupa kerupuk rumput laut rasa bawang putih dan daun kelor serta jelly drinkrumput laut. Kegiatan lainnya digunakan untuk diskusi bahan aditif dalam produk makanan serta pelatihan strategi pengemasan dan pemasaran. Perbaikan dari sistem yang telah disosialisasikan membutuhkan proses yang lama sehingga perlu dilakukan pemantauan sehingga proses pengelolaan mulai dari produksi hingga pemasaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan berkelanjutan.
