Abstract

Student worksheets (LKPD) are a series of learning tools that affect the learning process's optimization. This study aims to describe student worksheets' validity with blended learning orientation to improve students' scientific literacy skills in oxidation-reduction reaction material. The research used is development research with the Nieveen development method with two stages: preliminary research and prototyping. The validity of the LKPD was obtained from the validation assessment of three expert validators in chemistry, namely two chemistry lecturers and one chemistry teacher. The instrument used was a LKPD validation sheet. The evaluation of the validation results of the LKPD showed that the percentage of content validity was 81.7%, and the construct validity was 84.7%. Thus, this study's results indicate that student worksheets with blended learning orientation to training scientific literacy skills can be declared valid.

Abstract

Learning media made must meet the eligibility criteria, one of which is effectiveness. The research was aimed to examine the effectiveness of computer-based games as a learning media on the nomenclature of an inorganic compound topic. This research used Plomp design research, which consists of three phases: preliminary phase, design prototype phase, and assessment phase. This research trial was 28 students in X grade at Senior High School 1 Puri Mojokerto used one group pretest and posttest design. The game's effectiveness s is based on the n-gain score from the pretest and posttest results, which data is normalized by Kolmogorov-Smirnov non-parametric test. The results of the n-gain calculation are 71.4% of students in one class have a moderate n-gain category, 21.42 % of students have a high n-gain category, and 7.18% of students have low n-gain criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that computer-based games are effective learning media.REFERENCESArsyad, A. (2013). Media Pembelajaran. Jakarta: PT RajaGrafindo Persada.Brensell, & Hansen, C. (2010). Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has hit all countries including Indonesia. Indonesia was hit by a pandemic starting in early March 2020. With this pandemic, Indonesia is required to be prepared for the potential spread of this virus. This is due to the geographical location of Indonesia which is directly adjacent to several countries affected by the spread of the Covid-19 virus as well as the development of globalization and increasingly smooth traffic between countries. One way to reduce the rate of spread of this virus is by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) so that all activities in schools and offices are carried out in a work from home (WFH) manner. Learning activities cannot be carried out directly so that learning in this period utilizes existing technology so that students still understand the material. As one solution to improving the quality of learning, the program activities make a product in the form of a learning video that is very interesting and fun so that students don't feel bored when participating in distance learning

Abstract

Learning activities, especially in chemistry lessons, are challenging and quite complicated learning activities. In addition, the provision of information such as teaching materials from lecturers needs to be reduced so that students can find, process, and use the learning resources they get. One of the learning models that can be used is the Collaborative Learning (CL) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) models. This model provides an opportunity to develop the social skills needed. Therefore, the researcher took the initiative to conduct a literature study to determine the effect of applying CL and PBL on chemistry learning. This research was conducted using a systematic analysis approach through several references in the form of journals published in the last 10 years, articles relevant to the research topic. Based on research results from several journals, it can be concluded that the CL model combined with PBL allows lecturers and students to share information more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The obstacles that must be faced in the 2013 Curriculum are the limitations of the media to support the learning process on acid-base material. Research has been conducted with the aim of developing Student Worksheets (LKS) on chemistry subjects based on the 2013 Curriculum which is inquiry based on Acid-Base material for class XI SMA / MA and equivalent. The research was conducted at SMA Al-Hikmah Surabaya using the 4-D development method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The trial was limited to 19 students of class XI MIA who were randomly selected. This study uses a One Shot Case Study design without a comparison group and a pre-test for the trial phase where students will get a test after students are given treatment using a developed worksheet. The instruments used were study sheets, validation sheets, test sheets and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the research it is known that this LKS has 76% content feasibility, 90% presentation, 82.5% language, and conformity to the 88% inkuri model based on validation besides that student learning outcomes achieve classical completeness of 94.73% and student responses to student worksheets which is developed tested positive.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the feasibility of E-Module based on Chemo-Edutainment on chemical equilibrium material to improve students' scientific literacy. The method used is 4D (define, design, develope, and disseminate), but the disseminate stage is not carried out. Based on the validity test, it was found that the E-Module had valid and very valid criteria, covering aspects of presentation obtained 90.67%, linguistic aspects 86.67%, graphic aspects 80.00%, and content aspects 88.14%. Based on the student response questionnaires, result of presentation ≥ 80,1% stated that it was easy to use the E-Module, so it had very practical criteria. The N-gain calculation uses the Pre-Test and Post-Test values which are used to determine the increase in students' scientific literacy with an average N-gain result of 86.30% of students being in high criteria. The results of the Wilcoxon obtained the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 (H0 is rejected). Thus, the E-Module based on Chemo-Edutainment on chemical equilibrium material is appropriate to be used to improve students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a chemical practicum KIT as an effective learning medium to train students' science process skills in scientific method, polar and non-polar covalent compounds, electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This study uses a 4-D research model which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing, and distributing. However, in this study only limited to the development stage. The results of the research obtained showed that classical completeness in the posttest workmanship on all three materials was 100%. While the increase in learning outcomes aspects of science process knowledge and skills in the three materials are in the category of "medium" and "high". Based on the results, it can be concluded that the practicum KIT learning media is effective for training science process skills in scientific method, polar and non-polar covalent compounds, electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions.
