Abstract

Research on the implementation of cooperative learning Scramble model has been done to improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in grade XI MA Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru. The shape of this research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Time data collection starts in April-May 2012. The sample consists of two classes, namely the class as a class experiment XI.1 and XI.2 class as a class randomly selected control after homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that is treated by applying the model of cooperative pembelajran Scramble. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing using t-test formula obtained t count> t-table is 3.02> 1.67 means that the implementation of cooperative learning model Scramble can improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI MA Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru , Improved learning achievement in experimental class is supported with a score gain normalized (N-Gain) of 0.71 is high.

Abstract

The development of interactive learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8.5 is aimed to get valid interactive learning from the terms of content substance, display (visual comunication), instructional design and courseware utilization. The research method was used four-D models which consist of four stages, those are define, design, develop and desseminate. The research is up to the development stage. The data collected technique used validation sheet, questionnaire responses of students and teacher. The result showed an average score of content substance aspects, display (visual comunication) aspects, instructional design aspect and courseware utilization aspects was 91,4%. Learning media also fulfill the practical criteria based on the responses of students and teacher with a score 95,5% and 77,5%. The conclusion show the learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8.5 valid and can be use in learning process.

Abstract

Abstract : It has been done of research with applied the active learning strategy of Football Verbal that aims to improve student learning achievement on the topic of Colloid in class XI science of Senior High School Number1 Kampar Timur. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA3 as the control class randomly selected after homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying active learning strategy of Football Verbal in learning process. Data analysis technique used is the t-test with α = 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tcount> ttable which is 3,74>1,67. The results showed that the application of active learning strategy of Football Verbal can improve student learning achievement on the topic of Colloid in class XI science of Senior High School Number 1 Kampar Timur. Improved learning achievement can be seen from the coefficient of the effect achieved is 18,91%.Keywords: Active Learning Strategy of Football Verbal, Learning Achievement, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract : The research was conducted because of the low learning achievement of student on the structure of atom and the periodic system of element who has not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) was 75 that have been established in school. The research aimed to improve learning achievement of student on the structure of atom and the periodic system of element subject in X MIA class SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. This research is was kind of experimental research with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The samples of the research was the student of X MIA 4 class as the experimental class and the student of X MIA 1 class as the control class which were determined randomly after doing normality test and homogenity test. The learning process of experimental class and control class used scientific approach which was based on the curriculum in 2013. Experimental class was a class that was given the treatment that used Gallery Walk learning methods while the control class was not. The data analysis technique we used was the t-test, criteria testing H0 accepted if tcount>ttable, dk = n1 + n2 – 2 with α = 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable was 2,41>1,66, it meant that the use the application of Gallery Walk learning methods could improve learning achievement of student on the structure of atom and the periodic system of element subject in X MIA class SMAN 2 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Gallery Walk Learning, Learning Achievement, Structure of Atom and thePeriodic System of Element

Abstract

Abstract:This research aimed to increase student achievement by application of active learning strategies types reviews style game Hollywood Squares on learning topic of Reaction On Reduction And Oxidation in X MIPA SMA N 12 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are X MIPA-3 as the experimental class, X MIPA-4 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the application of active learning strategies types Hollywood Squares Review while the control group without the application active learning strategies types Hollywood Squares Review. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,51 and ttable = 1,66 with α=0,05, dk=69. tcount > ttable is 3,51 > 1,66, It’s mean that the application of active learning strategies types reviews style game Hollywood Squarescan improve students achievement on the subject of reaction on reduction and oxidation in X MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru.Key Word : Learning Achievment, Hollywood Squares Review, and Reaction of Reduction and Oxidation

Abstract

Abstract: Research has conducted on class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The learning process was seriously, rigid, without a sense of excitement, and the state of the learning process at noon during the day, causing student’s bored and tired. Form of research was experimented research with pretest-posttest design Research on the application technique Icebreaker has been done to improve student’s achievement and uppertain of what category of improve student’s achievement on the subject of nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations in class X at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The sample consisted of two classes, X.8 class as experiment class and X.3 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing technique Icebreaker and the control class was treated without icebreaker technique. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (8,88 > 1,66). The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category ( N-Gain = 0,72). It means that using technique Icebreaker can improve student’s achievement on the subject of nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations in class X at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Icebreaker technique, learning achievement, nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations

Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of cooperative learning techniques roving group has been done to improve student’s achievement on the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru on 02 October- 06 November 2013. This research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X4 class as experiment class and X3 class as control class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Application of cooperative learning techniques roving group applied in experiment class. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount>ttable (3,678> 1,67). It means that the application of cooperative learning techniques roving group can improve student’s achievementon the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: Classroom action research had been done on student learning activity on Colloid subject in XI MIA 3 of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by using student worksheet that is based on IDEAL Problem Solving. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of asking question, submit answers or opinions, doing student worksheet is based on IDEAL Problem Solving and group discussion. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique use observation test and questionnaire . The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success indicator. The learning activity of student percentage in first cycle is 61,33% with enough category and second cycle is 73,86% with good category. Based on the result obtained, it can be concluded the using of student worksheet that is based on IDEAL Problem Solving can improve student learning activity.Keyword :Student Worksheet That is Based On IDEAL Problem Solving, Student Learning Activity, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research. This classroom action research is an effort to improve the learning process of chemistry of class X students of TSM 1 SMK N 5 Pekanbaru by applying the Icebreaker type of learning technique of games and bodybuilding. This study aims to improve students' learning motivation. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings covering four stages of implementation, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations, and tests. The technique of data analysis is done descriptively using percentage technique. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of Icebreaker learning techniques can improve students' learning motivation. This can be seen from the increase of learners motivation from 70% in cycle I to 77,67% in cycle II.Key Words : The Icebreaker technique type of Games and Bodybuilding, Learning motivation

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research has been to produce LKPD based on learning cycle 5-e on the subject of valid reaction rate based on feasibility of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation. The research was conducted in Chemistry Education Department of PMIPA FKIP University of Riau on May 16, 2017. Research is done by research and development research and development (R & D) with 4-D model, because time and cost limitation is only done until development stage. Instrument of data collecting in this research is validation sheet and teacher response questionnaire as well as questionnaire response of learners. LKPD that has been developed validated by 2 validators namely lecturer of Chemistry Education FKIP UR, then tested to 15 students in SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru and 15 students in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The average scores of validation of feasibility aspects of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation of LKPD developed respectively were 95.83%, 87.5%, 97.5%, and 87.5% with an overall average of 92, 08% (valid). The mean outcome of the teacher's response questionnaire to LKPD was 85.94% (good), the average score of the limited trials conducted in 2 schools were 90.56% (good) and 87.08% (good) respectively.Keywords : Development, LKPD, Learning Cycle 5-e, Rate of Reaction
