Abstract

Latar Belakang : Data SDN Sukonolo, Kabupaten Malang, pada Juni 2024 menunjukkan bahwa 36 siswa mengalami diare. Peneliti mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor penyebab, antara lain kebiasaan cuci tangan yang kurang, jajan sembarangan, tidak membawa bekal dari rumah, dan kebiasaan menerima uang saku. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola konsumsi jajanan dengan kejadian diare pada siswa SDN Sukonolo. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 100 siswa dari total populasi 134 siswa, yang dipilih melalui teknik stratified random sampling. Variabel dependen adalah kejadian diare, sedangkan variabel independennya adalah perilaku konsumsi jajanan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearman rank.  Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p < 0.01, r = 0.957, dan tingkat signifikansi 0.05. Nilai korelasi tersebut menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat antara perilaku konsumsi jajanan dengan kejadian diare. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola konsumsi jajanan dengan kejadian diare pada siswa SDN Sukonolo Kabupaten Malang. Perilaku jajan tidak sehat masih cukup tinggi dan menjadi faktor utama yang meningkatkan risiko diare di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Introduction: Gastritis remains a prevalent health issue globally. Although not life-threatening, it significantly impacts an individual’s quality of life, primarily due to unhealthy lifestyle choices. Maintaining health eating habits plays a crucial role in preserving the digestive system’s health. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between dietary patterns and the recurrence pf gastritis. Methods: A cross-sectional design was employed in this study, involving 43 respondents at the Duono Community Health Center in West Halmahera Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires on dietary consumption patterns and the incident of gastritis. Statistical analysis was then performed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The study revealed a significant association between dietary patterns and the recurrence of gastritis (p<0.005). Conclusion: based on these findings, health care professionals at the Community Health Center, especially nurses, it is highly recommended to more proactive in educating the community about the importance of maintaining health eating habits to reduce the incidence of gastritis recurrence.

Abstract

Type 1 diabetes is a disease that can’t be cured but the quality of life of the patients can be maintained as much as possible. This study aimed to analyze the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes in Malang.  This study used cross sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling by taking all adolescents (10-19 years) with type 1 diabetes who are still active in IKADAR Malang which were 24 adolescents. The quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes was measured by the quality of life for youth questionnaire.  The result showed that the total score of the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes was 74.4±11.4 with the highest score was the impact on activities (92.3±12.4) and the lowest score was the parent issues (57.3±29.2). Higher score quality of life was in boys (75.5±12.9), age 10-14 years (75.3±11.7), disease duration  1-5 years (83.0±3.5) and last HbA1c was <7.5% (83.3±4.2). Healthcare providers especially nurse are expected to keep monitoring and improving the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes.

Abstract

Kindergarten is one form of early childhood education services for children aged 3-6 years which serves to lay the foundations towards the development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Therefore, self-adjustment is one of the important things in determining the success of a child in meeting the demands of the surrounding environment. This study aims to Identify Parents Perceptions of Adjusment Disorder At First Day School in PermataIman 3 Kindergarten Malang. The design in this study is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were all children aged 3-6 years who had just entered school as many as 84. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instrument used in this study was the Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 1.5-5. This research was conducted at PermataIman 3 kindergarten in July 2019. Data obtained will be analyzed univariate and presented in percentage form. The results showed that adjustments to disorder at first day school in children in the mild category amounted to 66 (78.6%) and a small portion in the moderate category amounted to 18 (21.4%). This is probably due to factors of age, physiological conditions, order of children, and parenting. Based on the results of the study parents should be able to choose the right time to include children in the pre-school environment, namely at the age of > 4-5 years. And it is very important for the school to pay attention to the school environment, especially in the readiness of facilities, facilities and the environment.
