Abstract

This study seeks to provide an overview of the management of waqf management at the Raodhatul Jannah mosque, Jene Tallasa Village, Gowa Regency. The not yet certified waqf land can jeopardize the donated land in the future. The quality of human resources for managing mosques is also lacking in quality in developing waqf assets to be more productive. This study aims to provide an overview to the parties involved, in this case waqf, regarding the nature of waqf in Indonesia which has been unproductive and many have not been certified as a consideration for increasing the use of waqf assets in the future. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is the problematic management of waqf in Raodhatul Jannah mosque lies in the land of waqf which is not yet certified due to inevitable obstacles. Most of the mosque managers only run religious and social programs and have not focused on developing waqf assets in a more productive direction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth of the collection of zakat funds, donations / alms in the National Amil Zakat Agency. The research method used is a qualitative method with comprehensive data analysis. As a result, growth in the collection of zakat funds, infaq / alms has fluctuated where the percentage of growth has increased and decreased. As for the growth of Islamic philanthropy during 2017-2018, most of the infaq / alms then zakat instruments.

Abstract

Halal tourism is a tourism that prioritizes to provide facilities for visitors that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. However, halal tourism is often misinterpreted by people that accordingly results in misunderstandings among the communities. This study aims to explain the development of halal tourism in the Land above the Cloud, pong torra’ in North Toraja Regency. The method employed was qualitative method, which specifically used descriptive analytical approach to holistically understand the phenomenon that occurred in the area being investigated. The result revealed that the development of halal tourism in North Toraja Regency still became polemics which was accordingly rejected as the immediate impact of the lack of socialization to the community. In addition, the provision of Islamic religious facilities and infrastructure prepared by the manager had not been maximized. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that intense communication is highly required between the government and the community to avoid the misconception about halal tourism. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve the facilities and infrastructure in order to attract more Muslim tourists to visit.

Abstract

Islamic banks as intermediary institutions shall maintain and comply with sharia principles so that in carrying out their business, they will continue to gain trust from the community, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The principle that is highly fundamental for the existence of an industry including sharia banks is fiduciary principle. The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of the fiduciary principle in maintaining customer loyalty amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this study was descriptive analysis. The type of data used was secondary data, namely in the form of articles, magazines, research journals, books, and other sources relevant to this study. The data collection technique used was documentation technique. The results of the study showed that the trust given to customers by sharia banks can increase customer loyalty in conducting various transactions. In addition, various efforts also needed to be made by sharia banks in order to maintain customer loyalty in the midst of the current pandemic by improving service quality and maintaining customer perceptions regarding the image of the bank. Therefore, sharia banks must uphold this fiduciary principle in order to prevent banking risks that may occur amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The risk that have been faced by sharia financial institution is not merely about financial issue but also non-financial. Hence, it is considered as an urgency to be able to implement the risk management in order to conduct the hedging strategy in sharia financial institution, and also to anticipate and ready for further action needed in facing some irrelevant situations which are not according with the expectations and the objectives of the institution. This writing aims to assess the risk management in identifying and in managing of that.  However, because of the complexity of the risk encountered both in financial and non-financial issue; such as operational risk of the use of modern technology services which does increasingly pamper the current millennial clients and that prone to cyber-security threat and thus needs protection. Also economic uncertainty with the state of pandemic covid 19.

Abstract

Islamic social finance has an important role as an alternative solution to handling economic problems during the Covid-19 pandemic through zakat, infaq, alms and waqf (ZISWAF). In managing ZISWAF, a supervision and control system is needed in the form of a sharia audit. This study focuses on the role of sharia auditing in Islamic social finance governance during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted through a literature study with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that sharia auditing has the role of (1) ensuring the governance of Islamic social finance in the form of ZISWAF in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by Islamic law; (2) Assessing the extent to which the goals and objectives that have been set for the implementation of Islamic social finance programs are achieved effectively and efficiently in accordance with predetermined rules; and (3) As a form of accountability from Islamic social finance management institutions to stakeholders.Keywords: Shariah Audit, Islamic Social Finance, Covid-19

Abstract

Indonesia is a country known as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. However, the number of Indonesian people who already know and understand about waqf is still very small. Waqf problems in ex. Tamarunang, Kec. Somba Opu, Kab. Gowa is still only limited to the potential of waqf and has not fully shown its benefits. Problems arising from several waqf practices in the community are not only around the implementation of the waqf, but also in terms of the management and development of the waqf land. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of waqf land management. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data collection technique was carried out through observation and interviews, by taking a random sample (purposive sampling). The results of this study are from the total waqf land, it can be concluded that there are 128 waqf assets with an area (ha) of 6.71, 1 of which have been certified, while those who have not been certified are 127 with an area (ha) of 6.68.

Abstract

Waqf is one of the Islamic economic instruments that can be used as an instrument in development. In addition, waqf also improves community welfare if it is managed properly and productively. With the possibility of developing waqf in Indonesia considering that Indonesian society is actually the largest Muslim population, it is fitting that we train and develop waqf for the welfare of the ummah. This research was conducted to find and solve problems in terms of management and development of the potential for waqf in Gantarang District, which is one of the largest sub-districts in Bulukumba Regency, but the management and development of waqf is still very minimal. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research where descriptive data is obtained in the form of the words or behavior of the people being observed. The results showed that the management and development of the potential for waqf in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency was still low and still not productive. For this reason, special attention is needed from the government, especially the District KUA (Office of Religious Affairs) as an extension of the BWI (Indonesian Waqf Board) in order to further improve performance and expand community socialization about waqf.

Abstract

Abstract: The focus of this research is discuss the role of zakat to alleviating poverty in zakat management organization of the Makassar City Amil Zakat Agency. This study uses qualitative research methods and is descriptive in nature, because it intends to describe clearly and in detail the phenomena that are the main problem without making hypotheses or statistical calculations. The results of the research show that the programs carried out by the National Amil Zakat Agency in Makasssar City in alleviating poverty are already very good, but there are still some obstacles faced, especially in terms of collecting zakat funds, so the distribution of zakat funds for mustahik welfare is still limited. Keywords : Zakat, Poverty and BAZNAS Abstrak : Fokus penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang peran zakat dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan pada organisasi pengelolaan zakat Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif, karena bermaksud menggambarkan secara jelas dan rinci fenomena yang menjadi pokok permasalahan tanpa melakukan hipotesis atau perhitungan secara statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program-program yang dilakukan Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kota Makasssar dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan sudah sangat baik, namun masih ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi terutama dari segi penghimpunan dana zakat sehingga pendistribusian dana zakat untuk kesejahteraan mustahik masih bersifat terbatas. Abstract

Waqf is one of the sources of funds that has the potential to develop the people's economy. Even history proves that waqf that is maintained and developed productively is very helpful for the interests of the community.This study aims to determine the waqf management system in Tawakua Village, Angkona District, East Luwu Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques through interview studies to 5 informants. The results of this study indicate that the management of waqf assets is managed directly by the village, and administration of the waqf pledge deed is carried out at KUA Angkona District. However, the role of waqf as a socio-economic development has not been optimal due to the lack of public knowledge and a lack of qualified human resources in the field of waqf. Therefore, it is necessary to revitalize the management of waqf so that the function of waqf as an instrument of economic development can be achieved. Wakaf menjadi salah satu sumber dana yang memiliki potensi dalam pengembangan ekonomi umat. Bahkan sejarah membuktikan bahwa wakaf yang dipelihara dan dikembangkan secara produktifsangat membantu kepentingan masyarakat.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem pengelolaan wakaf di Desa Tawakua Kecamatan Angkona Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan data melalui studi wawancara kepada 5 informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan harta benda wakaf dikelola secara langsung oleh desa, dan pengurusan administrasi akta ikrar wakaf dilakukan di KUA Kecamatan Angkona. Namun peran wakaf sebagai pembangunan sosial ekonomi belum optimal karena minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat dan kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang mumpuni di bidang wakaf. Oleh karena itu revitalisasi pengelolaan wakaf perlu dilakukan agar fungsi wakaf sebagai instrumen pembangunan ekonomi dapat tercapai.
