Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya masih tergolong belum professional, dipeorleh nilai di bawah KKM, dan kurangnya komitmen organisasi guru terhadap sekolah, serta kurangnya tanggungjawab guru dalam bekerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah 24 guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru sehingga sampelnya 24 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berbentuk kuisioner atau angket. Angket kinerja, komitmen organisasi, dan budaya organisasi sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian normalitas data dilakukan dengan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi ganda dengan menggunakan taraf α = 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Komitmen Organisasi (X1) dan Budaya Organisasi (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) secara bersama-sama dengan persamaan regresi Y ̂  = 81,388 + 0,295X1 + 0,466X2, koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,570. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna untuk perbaikan kinerja, komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi secara simultan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh mindfulness  terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa STAB Maitreyawira Pekanbaru yang terdiri dari 3 angkatan yaitu angkatan 2019, 2020, dan 2021. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket tertutup, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Pearson dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kesadaran (mindfulness) maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar mahasiswa STAB Maitreyawira Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan mindfulness.

Abstract

Education as a sub-system of the world must adapt, connect, and be compatible with the directions of the strategic environmental tendencies. Education was seen as an interdisciplinary context and a multidimensional development factor with human beings become both goals and instruments. Through education, the existence and the nature of human beings are constantly studied and explored from various disciplinary perspectives. Human beings as creatures and subjects of education that must be improved by quality and behavior through the transformation of moral education, and as a development instrument, that means human beings as developmental behavior that must have high ability, moral ethics, and high character to participate in the nation and state development. The needs of educational reforms that will bring a major impact on life bring us a new atmosphere of change that drives us to build new cultures, new civilizations, new life values, ​​and the new morality, organized a more civilized education of the future, by returning to nature, life balance, harmonization, naturalism, and love. Implementation of the concept: "Aesthetic Education of Humanity" will change the old paradigm to the new paradigm.

Abstract

This research focused on the humanistic character education of college students in STAB Maitreyawira. It is to analyze the character education implementation and college students’ humanist behavior. By using a case study in qualitative research design, the sample is a purposive sample of college students in STAB Maitreyawira. Data collection by questionnaire in google form, a document study, interview, and triangulation. Data analysis with an interactive model. This research revealed that: 1) The document study indicates that the academy has regulated and implemented the culture such as trustworthy, well-mannered, responsive, creative, and three-harmony (harmonious joy, harmonious getting-along, and harmonious togetherness). The character education implementation is considered as good and well-improved with the indicator created by the lecturers and students with supportive theory. 2) Some improvements in students’ behavior and attitude in terms of the three-harmony (harmonious joy, harmonious getting-along, and harmonious togetherness) from the aspects of knowledge, behavior, and experience. 3) The most dominant aspect from the three-harmony is regarding harmonious joy while the other two are described with Mentimeter. In conclusion, the college students of STAB Maitreyawira are, conceptually, able to explain in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with a test score above 85%. They also uphold, respect, and glorify life in the three-harmony aspects so that it can create a positive atmosphere full of optimist, non-violence, and friendliness among the school residents. The academy’s culture prioritizes humanistic moral value with the spirit of the Universal Family as the outcome of the graduates of STAB Maitreyawira.

Abstract

This research is background by the performance of teachers at SD Metta Maitreya who are still not professional, there are still scores of students who take KKM and there are still teachers who lack teacher responsibility at work. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance at SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The study population was 24 teachers of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru, so the sample was 24 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the performance questionnaire and organizational culture have been tested. The data normality test was carried out by the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The data analysis used was multiple correlation analysis with a level of α = 0.05. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant relationship between Organizational Culture (X1) and Teacher Performance (Y) together with the regression equation Y = 102.421 + 0.567X1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.567. The results of this study are expected to be useful for improving the performance and organizational learning of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The conclusion of this study shows that organizational learning (X1) has a partially significant relationship (individually) with teacher performance (Y) SD Metta Maitreya.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of altruist moral-based Buddhist education, the sub-focus analysis to implement altruistic moral transformation of SMP Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research design is a qualitative study case which involves principals, Buddhist education teachers, Moral Ethics teachers, and students of SMP Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Collecting data by observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis with interactive model (Miles and Huberman, 1994: 12), through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The validity of the data with the concept of validation is triangulation and member check. The results of the study were revealed : 1) The implementation of Buddhist education in the student test assessment is classified as Good, referring to Minister of National Education Regulation No.19 of 2007 concerning Management of Educational Standard, 2) The implementation of altruistic moral-based learning has not been realized properly and consistently as it’s still a new program which causes school policy apply dynamically. New culture is built from an effective school structure which is forwarded to students to form a school element which is able to protect, love and glorify life to transform the measurable character of appropriate school culture. The school has developed Love Learning in harmony with altruistic morals to enhance positive, non-violent and loving behavior for all school elements in the The School of Universal Family. To shape a new atmospheric academic character which prioritizes the altruist moral values of the Universal Family as the impact/outcome of the SMP Metta Maitreya. KATA KUNCI: Buddhist Education, Moral Altruism, Universal Love.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study focuses on "The Role of Online Learning In New Normal at SMK Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru", Involved by principal, Head of MGMP Pekanbaru, the buddhist teacher and students of SMK metta maitreya. Data collection with observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The interactive data analysis technique (miles and huberman,1994: 12), through data reduction, data presentation, and deduction/verification. Data validity with the concept of validation of triangulation and a member of the check. The results of the study were revealed: First;The online learning of buddhist education in SMK metta maitreya has been well performed based on the potential of students, measured from online learning in New Normal, according to the achievement of academic year 2021-2022, accountancy and computer engineering students which are 195 people acquired an average of 92, above minimum minimum criteria (KKM) 75, Whereas the aspect of development based on a well-defined 3.6-3.7 numerical range (B), it means that students have understood the moral aspects of accuracy, moral feeling, and action. According to dictates no.22 to 2016 concerning the standards of primary and secondary education processes. Second; Implementation of online learning in the new normal (new habits) modeling altruism approaches, teachers motivate and facilitate learning, to find a practical model that consolidate the normal role of learning in the new normal during pandemic, it also strengthens the passion to learn Buddhist Education in SMK metta maitreya which has done with great level of effectiveness in the school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship simultaneously and partially between online learning on interest, motivation and learning achievement of students in Buddhist subjects at SMP Maitreyawira Palembang. This study used a quantitative method. The samples taken in the study were 48 people using purposive sampling technique. This study used a questionnaire which was distributed to 48 students. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis of research data showed that the regression value of 0.914 indicated that there was a significant relationship between online learning and interest, motivation and learning achievement. Fvaluecalculated (74.543) was greater than Ftable(2.82), this meansthat there was a joint significant influence between online learning on interest, motivation and learning achievement. The value of the coefficient of determination showed that the percentage of the influence of online learning on interest, motivation andlearning achievement is 83.6% while the remaining 16.4% was influenced by other variables. And obtained the value of the ttest, the tvalueof (3.963), motivation was (3.022), and learning achievement was (2.893) with a ttableof (1.679). This shows that online learning partially has a significant relationship to students' interest, motivation and learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding of Hita Sukhaya (Maitreyani) family for young couples by guidance and development strategies using SWOT analysis. The case study qualitative research design, based on purposive sampling of 5 Buddhist couples. Data analysis with interactive model (Miles and Huberman, 1994), data validity with triangulation validation and member check. The results showed that young Buddhist couples in Pekanbaru fully understood how to implement the blessing at Maitreya Monastery to formalize the Hita Sukhaya (Maitreyani) family, so there would be spiritual bond to obtain the Buddha's blessing to build a harmonious family, realizing Universal Family. The strategic role of the Monastery in providing services to formalize the Maitreyani Family as the main goal and function which is also an opportunity from available human resources to turn potential programs into effective programs in service.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the independent attitude of Maitreyawira Kindergarten School Ketapang children who are influenced by the implementation of character education in schools. Therefore, this study aims to find out the method of implementing character education and how its implementation can shape the independent behavior of children in Maitreyawira Kindergarten School Ketapang. The method used is qualitative research through survey and observation methods. The research subject was the observation of several children, then interviews were conducted with the parents of the children and the teachers who taught the children. Data collection instruments were in the form of interview results, documentation in the form of photographs of children's and teacher's activities, and field notes (anecdotes). From the results of observations, four categories were obtained to assess children's independence, namely Belum Berkembang (BM), Mulai Berkembang (MB), Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), and Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). The results of the research on the implementation of the independent behavior of the Maitreyawira Kindergarten School Ketapang children were assessed from 7 indicators, with the BM and MB categories at 0%, the BSH category at 64%, and the BSB category at 36%. The results of this study are expected to be useful as input in implementing character education in schools. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of character education has succeeded in shaping children's independent behavior in their daily lives.
