Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya masih tergolong belum professional, dipeorleh nilai di bawah KKM, dan kurangnya komitmen organisasi guru terhadap sekolah, serta kurangnya tanggungjawab guru dalam bekerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah 24 guru SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru sehingga sampelnya 24 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berbentuk kuisioner atau angket. Angket kinerja, komitmen organisasi, dan budaya organisasi sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian normalitas data dilakukan dengan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi ganda dengan menggunakan taraf α = 0,05. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Komitmen Organisasi (X1) dan Budaya Organisasi (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) secara bersama-sama dengan persamaan regresi Y ̂  = 81,388 + 0,295X1 + 0,466X2, koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,570. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna untuk perbaikan kinerja, komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komitmen organisasi dan budaya organisasi secara simultan.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of varied and interactive learning methods, such as group discussions, role-playing, and multimedia tools, compared to traditional, lecture-based methods on student learning outcomes in Buddhist and Ethics Education for junior high school students. An experimental design was used with two groups: a control group that followed traditional, lecture-based instruction and an experimental group that applied these varied and interactive methods. The study involved 60 students, evenly divided between the two groups. Research instruments included questionnaires to assess student engagement and motivation, interviews to provide qualitative insights into student experiences, and essay tests to evaluate student learning outcomes. The results indicated that the experimental group achieved a higher average score (85.20) compared to the control group (74.50), with a t-test revealing a significant difference (p 0.01) and a large effect size (Cohen's d = 1.95), indicating a substantial impact of the interactive methods. The study concluded that varied and interactive learning methods demonstrate greater effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes compared to traditional, lecture-based methods. These findings support the use of more dynamic teaching strategies in educational settings, though the study's limitations include a small sample size and lack of longitudinal data. Future research should expand the sample and incorporate long-term analysis to better understand the lasting effects of these methods.

Abstract

Based on observations found that there are not many studies that can explain clearly about the factors that cause students to mix codes. Though the factors that cause students to mix codes are important to be known by language lecturers and for lecturers who teach on campus. Based on these observations it is necessary to conduct research on code mixing. Research on code mixing in the study will be conducted at STAB Maitreyawira with a sample of research that is STAB Maitreyawira students. The method in this study is a qualitative method. The languages ​​used in mixing codes at STAB Maitreyawira are Indonesian, Malay, Mandarin, English, Mandarin and Jakarta dialect Malay. Then the students understand the code mix they do. Then, the factors that cause code mixing among STAB Maitreyawira students are as follows: the desire to look great, the topic or topic, the situation factor, the language factor on YouTube, the language factor on Facebook, and the factors to be more familiar with friends.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the performance of the teachers at SD Metta Maitreya which are still not professional, there are still scores of students under the KKM, and a lack of organizational commitment to school teachers, and there are still teachers who lack teacher responsibility at work. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational culture with the performance of teachers at SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The study population was 24 teachers of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru, so the sample was 24 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire on performance, organizational commitment, and organizational culture have been tested. The data normality test was carried out by the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The data analysis used was multiple correlation analysis using a level of α = 0.05. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant relationship between Organizational Commitment (X1) and Organizational Culture (X2) and Teacher Performance (Y) together with the regression equation Y = 81.388 + 0.295X1 + 0.466X2, the correlation coefficient is 0.570. The results of this study are expected to be useful for improving the performance, organizational commitment and organizational culture of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The conclusion of this study shows that performance can be increased through increasing organizational commitment and organizational culture simultaneously.

Abstract

This research focused on the humanistic character education of college students in STAB Maitreyawira. It is to analyze the character education implementation and college students’ humanist behavior. By using a case study in qualitative research design, the sample is a purposive sample of college students in STAB Maitreyawira. Data collection by questionnaire in google form, a document study, interview, and triangulation. Data analysis with an interactive model. This research revealed that: 1) The document study indicates that the academy has regulated and implemented the culture such as trustworthy, well-mannered, responsive, creative, and three-harmony (harmonious joy, harmonious getting-along, and harmonious togetherness). The character education implementation is considered as good and well-improved with the indicator created by the lecturers and students with supportive theory. 2) Some improvements in students’ behavior and attitude in terms of the three-harmony (harmonious joy, harmonious getting-along, and harmonious togetherness) from the aspects of knowledge, behavior, and experience. 3) The most dominant aspect from the three-harmony is regarding harmonious joy while the other two are described with Mentimeter. In conclusion, the college students of STAB Maitreyawira are, conceptually, able to explain in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with a test score above 85%. They also uphold, respect, and glorify life in the three-harmony aspects so that it can create a positive atmosphere full of optimist, non-violence, and friendliness among the school residents. The academy’s culture prioritizes humanistic moral value with the spirit of the Universal Family as the outcome of the graduates of STAB Maitreyawira.

Abstract

Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance at SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The research method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The study population was 24 teachers of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru, so the sample was 24 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the performance questionnaire and organizational culture have been tested. The data normality test was carried out by the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The data analysis used was multiple correlation analysis with a level of α = 0.05. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant relationship between Organizational Culture (X1) and Teacher Performance (Y) together with the regression equation Y = 102.421 + 0.567X1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.567. The results of this study are expected to be useful for improving the performance and organizational learning of SD Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The conclusion of this study shows that organizational learning (X1) has a partially significant relationship (individually) with teacher performance (Y) SD Metta Maitreya.

Abstract

Based on the initial observations that the author made to the first semester students of the 2020/2021 Academic Year on August 12, 2020, it was found that the results of interviews conducted by students still had to be improved. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research. Then the subjects in this study were 30 students of STAB Maitreyawira T.A. 2020/2021 Semester I who take Indonesian language courses. The place of this research is at STAB Maitreyawira. The time of this research is from September to November 2020. The instrument in this study is the Research Instrument in the Form of Student Interview Tasks. The results of this study are the results of preliminary observations before the application of the assignment method is that there is no number of students who get an interview score of 65 (0.00%). Then in the first cycle the number of students who obtained an interview score of 65 was as many as 26 students (86.67%). In the second cycle, the number of students who obtained a daily test score of 65 was 30 students (100%). The conclusion of this study is that the interview is an oral question and answer process between two or more people to find out a person's responses and opinions on an object. Implementation of the Assignment Method can Improve the Ability to Conduct Interviews for STAB Maitreyawira Students in Indonesian Language Courses. Abstract

There are still some achievements of STAB Maitreyawira students that still need to be improved. The method in this educational research is a descriptive method. The place in this research is STAB Maitreyawira. The research time is September 2021. Then the population in this study is 38 students of STAB Maitreyawira Class of 2019. Because only 30 students filled out the questionnaire in this study, in this study only data from 30 students were used as subjects in this study. From the results of the calculations, it is found that the average value of student interest in learning for the 2019 batch of S1 Buddhist Religious Education Study Programs STAB Maitreyawira is 76.54. This provides an explanation of student interest in learning, namely the learning interest of STAB Maitreyawira students for the class of 2019 is relatively high (from the calculation (3100 4050) x 100% = 76.54%). The conclusion of this study is that the learning interest of students of the 2019 batch of S1 Buddhist Religious Education Study Program STAB Maitreyawira is relatively high, namely 76.54. Abstract

Whereas research on the role of school principals in improving the quality of education is important. Abstract
