Abstract

Penggunaan perangkat otomasi berupa sensor, sistem kendali, maupun aktuator berasal dari berbagai jenis, model, merk, dan tipe sudah lazim digunakan pada berbagai kegiatan di dunia industri. Pengetahuan pengguna sangat dperlukan untuk menggunakan perangkat industri yang berbeda-beda ini sebagai upaya kesalahan saat penggunaannya. Namun, masih banyak ditemukan mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum yang belum memahami cara penggunaan perangkat-perangkat yang lazim digunakan di dunia industri. Hal ini yang mendasari penulis untuk membuat sebuah modul pelatihan yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang akan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai piranti yang lazim digunakan di industri seperti sensor proximity, temperature controller, dan relay. Modul pelatihan yang dirancang penulis ini digunakan sebagai media praktikum mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Sensor dan Transducer dengan harapan mahasiswa mampu memahami penggunaan sensor, kendali dan actuator elektronik sebagai persiapan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia industri.Kata Kunci: Modul pelatihan Sensor proximity Kendali suhu

Abstract

This research proposes a new model of overlap and helix blade shape. The overlap shape of the blades gives room to the air flow shortly after pounding the blades. Air flow direction is strived to be able to push the next blade so that the process of the turbine blade rotation becomes more effective. While the helix model is expected to produce a more efficient turbine rotation due to its multilevel shape. The wind speeds tested were 2 m / s, 4 m / s, and 6 m / s. Turbine speed rotation data retrieval is carried out at each additional time. The overlap blade has a greater angular velocity value of 9.4 rad / s at 2 m / s wind speed, 21.9 rad / s at 4 m / s wind speed, and 29.8 rad / s at 6 m / s wind speed.Turbines with multilevel helix blades have a higher level of stability compared to overlap blades. This is because there are two levels of turbine blades which have an angle difference of 600 which can receive more stable wind collisions. However, due to the smaller cross-sectional area of the helix blade turbine (ie 50% of the overlap blade) the effective impact area on the blade is also getting smaller. So that the energy that can be converted is also relatively smaller than the overlapping blade.

Abstract

To improve security for residents in the area at ​​Bareng Village Klojen Malang Districts, one of the most important is lighting. The installation of public street lighting is still minimal, so it is far from meeting security and safety standards. In order to ensure the availability of safe and reliable street lighting, training on the assembly of solar-powered street lighting lamps (PJU) was carried out for members of the youth group RT10 RW 08 at Bareng Village Klojen Malang Districs. Prior to the assembly process for street lighting, a brief training was conducted on the assembly of solar-powered PJU light poles and their installation. Hence, they have skills that can be developed people. The result of assistance giving an increasing knowledge and skills of residents of RT10 RW 08 at ​​Bareng Village Klojen Malang Districts. This place in the fabrication and installation of solar-powered PJU lights. In addition, the installation of 3 Solar Powered PJU lights that are safe and reliable, and have an impact on increasing environmental security and residents' activities. Abstract

In learning in the field of entrepreneurship at SMKM 1 Malang it is written about basic competencies, namely demonstrating scientific behavior. Some of the problems in realizing scientific behavior in entrepreneurship learning are the limited practicum teaching aids in partner schools. For example, for learning welding methods using electric welding. Besides that, students' knowledge about welding is still lacking and there are no welding machines available at SMKM 1 Malang. This needs to be improved by providing more teaching aids with a touch of the latest technology so that it can increase students' learning capacity, especially regarding welding. The community service activities proposed through this scheme will be implemented in several stages including: (1) Carrying out training for students on welding techniques; (2) Providing welding machine facilities for learning welding at vocational schools; (3) Provide assistance in welding learning so that the expected learning outcomes are obtained, namely fostering scientific, creative, innovative behavior and high curiosity; (4) Evaluate the output and outcomes by giving practical assignments and questionnaires to students related to the entrepreneurial learning model using an electric welding machine.

Abstract

In the plastic molding industry, there is a compression molding process to make shoulder tubes for cosmetic products. This research was to determine the effect of dosage duration and press station down parameters on unmolded defects in shoulder extrusion tube products. This research method uses quantitative with an experimental approach. This method is carried out by varying parameter setting dosage duration of 0.25s, 0.30s, 0.35s and press station down of 4 bar, 5 bar, 6 bar. The result od the study found that the parameters of dosage duration, press station down and the interaction of the two variables have a significant effect on unmolded defects. The higher the dosage duration and press station down, the unmolded defects decrease as indicated by the average product weight meeting the standard. The lower two parameters, the more unmolded defects occur, indicating that the average product weight not meet the standard weight tolerance of good products.

Abstract

The development of construction materials is currently very rapid, including in the manufacture of fishing boats that still use wood. As an alternative, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic can replace wood because of its various advantages. The process of making fishing boats uses the plastic welding method, where the material is heated close to the melting temperature with a welding gun. The welding rod melts due to heat and is pressed continuously while the welding gun moves backward. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the hot gas welding process on mechanical tests, especially bending tests on plastic welding joints. The two independent variables used are the hot gun temperature (250°C, 300°C, and 350°C) and the V bevel angle (60°, 75°, and 90°). The five controlled variables include the anvil temperature of 150°C, 3,2 mm thick HDPE plastic sheet, hot gas speed welding method, 5 mm diameter HDPE plastic additives, 7 liters/minute air flow rate, 1.2 mm/s welding speed, and 2 mm root gap. The research results are expected to obtain the maximum value of the bending test strength from the interaction of hot gun temperature variations and V-beam angles, as well as being a reference in making fishing boat bodies from HDPE using the hot gas welding method.
