Abstract

Kualitas air selama pemeliharaan (40 hari) diamati setiap tujuh hari sekali, sedangkan kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian dan rasio konversi pakan diamati setiap sepuluhhari sekali.

Abstract

Mangrove is a unique vegetation type growing along the coastline and estuarine in tropical and subtropical countries. Mangroves in Indonesia are distributed in all major islands and small islands from Aceh on westside stretched to Papua on the east. This study is to monitor the mangrove area in Poto island a small island part of Kabupaten Bintan, Province of Riau Kepulauan. The difference in spatial resolution of remote sensing data Sentinel 2A and Pleiades were used to classify the land use including the mangrove area. The supervised classification by maximum likelihood classification showed the high-resolution image using Pleiades has higher accuracy for mangroves 81.99% and overall accuracy 90% (kappa 0.86) compared to Sentinel 2A for mangrove 72,34% and overall accuracy 80% (kappa 0.73). The mangrove area approximately 257 ha is strip-lining along the coastline with the largest mangrove area located on the southside of the island. Further research is to identify the mangroves’ formation and the serial condition of mangroves on the different times.

Abstract

An alternate raw material for the production of collagen is the skin of tilapia fish, which is a fishery waste. As a naturally occurring humectant that helps to keep skin moisture, collagen is frequently found in cosmetic goods like body cream. The goal of this study is to ascertain the ideal amount of tilapia skin collagen to add in order to produce body cream with the best physico-chemical quality. This work employed an experimental approach using a complete randomized design (CRD) that included five replications and four treatments of increasing the collagen concentration of tilapia skin: 0%, 3%, 3.5%, and 4%. Cream pH, cream homogeneity, cream spreadability, and cream wetness were among the parameters measured. While the cream's pH, spreadability, and moisture were statistically parametrically assessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), the homogeneity of the cream was analyzed descriptively and compared. The study's findings indicated that 4% was the ideal amount of tilapia skin collagen to add to the cream. Cream containing 4% collagen from tilapia fish skin has uniform properties, a pH of 6.08, a spreadability of 5.88 cm, and the greatest moisture percentage of 68.7%.

Abstract

Situ Cisanti has the main function which is, being utilized by the surrounding community for various activities such as plantations, fisheries and tourism activities. The many activities in Situ Cisanti have an impact on the decline in water quality in the waters of Situ Cisanti. The water quality in Situ Cisanti must meet water quality standards because Situ Cisanti is the zero point of the Citarum River so that it has a direct impact on fish farming activities and drinking water sources along the Citarum River. Determination of water quality status in a body of water can be done by several methods, one of which is the STORET Method. Through the STORET Method, the water quality status of Situ Cisanti can be determined. The method used is the survey method. Determination of sampling points is determined based on considerations of the zoning of the water body consisting of inlets, the middle of the waters and outlets. Data analysis is carried out by comparing it with water quality standards and scoring it. Based on the results, the water quality status of Situ Cisanti is categorized as "lightly to moderately polluted" with a score between -10 to -11 for class 1 water quality standards and is categorized as lightly polluted with a score of -10 for class 2 quality standards. So it can be concluded that it does not meet the quality standards set by Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021 for raw water for drinking water and fisheries activities.Â
