Abstract

This research discusses how the development of PT. Cassia Co-op 2012-2021. PT. Cassia Co-op is the only company that processes raw cinnamon into finished goods, located in the village of Koto Dumo, Tanah Kampung District, Sungai Penuh City. This research is a qualitative research using historical research methods which are divided into four steps, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Based on the research results, PT. Cassia Co-op is the only company that processes cinnamon in Sungai Penuh City. From its inception until now, PT. Cassia Co-op is experiencing very rapid development. This can be seen in terms of raw materials, capital, marketing, as well as the amount of production that continues to increase, labor and tools used in the production process which increase every year which are the supporting factors for the development of this company. In addition, the development of the company cannot be separated from the management and strategies used by the company so that the production process can run smoothly.

Abstract

The Cipulir Market is a wholesale market with good potential, the potential has been enhanced with the development of the times, which in its development, presents additional trading strategies in Cipulir Market. The purpose of this research is to look at changes in trading strategies carried out by Cipulir Market traders considering technological developments. The method used is the historical method with heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study found a correlation between the development of the technological era and the strategy of Cipulir Market traders. This can be seen from the development of banking technology, social media, and online stores, where in some periods there have been significant changes. For instance, what used to be payments that could only be made in cash can now be made using mobile banking applications; the use of social media, which was previously only used to establish communication, is now used by traders to promote directly to consumers; and the use of online stores, which were previously doubted by traders, is now convinced by the existence of offline stores that can be visited directly if there is a mismatch in the products offered. These are the evidence of technological developments that support and add to the trading strategies carried out by Cipulir Market traders.

Abstract

This research is a historical study that discusses the development of PDAM (Regional Water Company) Tirta Dharma Solok City in 1984-2020. The problem that the author raises is regarding the development of PDAM Tirta Dharma from year to year according to the era of its leadership. This type of research includes qualitative research with historical research methods. In this historical research, there are several steps, namely heuristics (collecting data), source criticism (conducting criticism of existing sources), interpretation (conducting interpretations related to historical facts) and historiography (writing history). In 1982 the Solok City Regional Drinking Water Company was formed as a BUMD (Regional Owned Enterprise) of the Solok City government. Full management by the government of Solok City has been carried out since 1984. The results of the study show that the development of PDAM Tirta Dharma, Solok City has increased every year. Developments in the clean water infrastructure sector, clean water production, and the scope of clean water services. The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Dharma, Solok City, is still experiencing problems in management. Constraints such as distribution pipe leaks, not yet optimal service coverage.Keywords: PDAM Solok City, Development, Management

Abstract

This research discusses the Tanjung Aur Morning Market which is one of the traditional markets in the city of Padang from 2010-2020. The purpose of this study is to reveal the development of the Tanjung Aur Morning Market from 2010-2020. This research includes qualitative research, using historical methods in the form of library studies, archives, and interviews. The traditional market is a space for subsistence commodity transactions whose process is still thick and colored by the atmosphere of the rural economy with strong traditions. From the discussion it can be seen that first, the Tanjung Aur Morning Market is a traditional market that sells daily necessities such as rice, vegetables, fish and clothing. Therefore the Tanjung Aur Morning Market is one of the traditional markets in the city of Padang. Through this research, we can find out market development, market management, types of merchandise and fees for the Tanjung Aur Morning Market. The existence of the Tanjung Aur Morning Market also has an impact on the economy of the surrounding community and the creation of new jobs for the people around the Tanjung Aur Morning Market. The Tanjung Aur Morning Market was first established in 2010, when there were only a few traders selling by opening small stalls to place their wares from year to year. This market is growing, and the land owner is asking for permission from the Balai Gadang Village so that he can build small, neatly arranged stalls for rent to traders to sell, so that in 2020 this market will become the main place for buying and selling transactions and a place for traders to sell. The traders only come from areas around Balai Gadang Village. There are also some traders who make their own places using simple materials, such as wood and bamboo, to sell.
