Abstract

AbstrakBagi seorang muslim, kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah merupakan hal yang urgent karena Kitab suci umat muslim, yaitu Al-Qur’an ditulis menggunakan bahasa Arab yang huruf-hurufnya adalah huruf hijaiyyah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan problem buta huruf hijaiyyah bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Ketawanggede, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap mereka dalam mengenal dan membaca huruf hijaiyyah atau ayat-ayat dalam Alqur’an dengan benar sesuai kaidah. Jumlah peserta kegiatan ini adalah sebanyak 60 orang yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelas atau kategori, yaitu a) peserta yang sama sekali belum mengenal huruf hijaiyah, b) peserta yang sudah mengenal huruf hijaiyyah tetapi keliru dalam melafadzkannya, dan c) peserta yang sudah dapat membaca huruf hijaiyyah tetapi masih menemui kekeliruan dalam membaca terutama makharijul huruf dan kaidah-kaidah tajwid. Di antara hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah setelah melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan secara intensif menggunakan metode sorogan, peserta mengalami peningkatan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah (pisah dan sambung) dan ayat-ayat dalam Alqur’an.AbstractFor a Muslim, the ability to read Hijaiyah letters is important because the holy Book of Muslims, the Qur'an is written by using Arabic language that the letters is a letter Hijaiyyah. This community is aimed to solve hijaiyyah illiteracy problem for housewives in Ketawanggede sub-district, Lowokwaru subdistrict, Malang City by providing training and mentoring to them in Know and read the letters Hijaiyyah or verses in the Qur'an correctly in accordance with the rules. The number of participants of this activity is as many as 60 people divided into 3 classes or categories, namely a) participants who are not familiar with the letters Hijaiyah, B) Participants who already know the letter Hijaiyyah but erroneous in the pronunciation, and c) participants who Can already read the letter Hijaiyyah but still found confusion in reading mainly Makharijul letters and rules tajwid. Among the results of this devotion is after through training and mentoring intensively using the methods of Sorogan with the forward one by one and then corrected directly by Ustadz and directly in the process of justification, so that through Sorogan method that is more focused and direct evaluation, participants experienced an increase in the ability to read Hijaiyah letters (split and Dial) and verses in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The involvement of women in public forums is very limited and still has a domestic role. The paternalistic socio-cultural system plays a role in giving birth to gender inequality in social inclusion in people's lives. In this context, the Wahid Foundation designed an initiative called Desa Damai. This research includes qualitative descriptive research and field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews and focus group discussions in stages. This study uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique and community entrepreneurship supported by savings and loan cooperatives.

Abstract

Kajian penelitian ini adalah berfokus pada mendeskripsikan bentuk alih kode dan campur kode pada percakapan Bahasa Arab di grup whatsapp mahasiswa PKPBA fakultas SAINTEK UIN MALIKI Malang. Selanjutnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi alih kode dan campur kode dalam percakapan Bahasa Arab di grup whatsapp. penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara analisis. Sedangkan data bersifat deskriptif. Dari penelitan ini dihasilkan temuan bahwa: 1) bentuk alih kode meliputi dua hal. Dilihat dari segi: a) bahasa yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi, ditemukan bentuk alih kode yang meliputi: formal “bahasa sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa arab” dan informal “bahasa yang tidak sesuai kaidah Bahasa Arab”. Dilihat dari segi: b) hubungan antar bahasa, terdapat bentuk alih kode yang meliputi: bahasa Arab ke bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Indonesia ditulis dalam kata arab atau pegon. 2) Bentuk campur kode meliputi dua sisi. Dilihat dari segi: a) unsur sintaksis, ditemukan bentuk campur kode yang meliputi: kata dan frasa. Sedangkan dilihat dari segi: b) kategorisasi kata, ditemukan bentuk campur kode yang meliputi: numeralia, pronominal, preposisi, nomina, verba, adjektiva dan adverbial. 3) Faktor-faktor alih kode dan campur kode meliputi: a) hubungan penutur dengan mitra tutur, b) perubahan situasi dari formal ke informal atau kebalikannya. c) perubahan topik pembicaraan. d) latar belakang Pendidikan dan tingkat kemampuan.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education from an Islamic perspective for students is an alternative in eradicating Corruption. integration education anti-Corruption in the Qur'an and Hadith courses is education anti-Corruption merges in Al-Qur'an and Hadith courses through development Theory because of course part the material contain payload score and behavior anti-Corruption, as well as through development learning methods and media. Based on data processing obtained for category moral knowing It was found that the ICP PAI students of UIN Maliki Malang class of 2020 reached 82%. For category moral feeling by 86%, and for category moral action as much as 84%. Then the students of ICP PAI UIN Maliki Malang batch of 2020 are more put forward heart conscience and empathy for anti-corruption actions with percentage which enough tall that is as big as 86%. In other words, the integration of anti-corruption education from an Islamic perspective in Al-Qur'an and Hadith courses contribute positively to the internalization of anti-corruption educational values in students

Abstract

Women who have free time can be used as capital and opportunities to carry out productive activities that can generate income. Dukuh Tunggal Village as the largest area of fish farming in Glagah District has great potential in processing fishery products. women of Dukuh Tunggal Village who are members of the 10 PKK (Family Welfare Development) group try to make crackers and mujair fish brains to increase people's income and welfare. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen the local economic capacity for women in Dukuh Tunggal Village by taking advantage of the business opportunities around them. The implementation method is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) which includes three stages, namely the preparation stage, the extension and training implementation stage, and the mentoring stage.

Abstract

This article examines ʿUṣfūr min al-Sharq by Tawfiq al-Hakim as a dialectical exploration of European rationality and Eastern spirituality within the discourse of modernity. Modernity is frequently framed in binary terms: the West as rational, material, and technologically advanced, and the East as spiritual and tradition-bound. Such dichotomies, however, often overlook how identity is constructed and negotiated in modern Arabic literature. While previous scholarship has read the novel through the lens of civilizational conflict, it has seldom undertaken a deconstructive analysis of how East–West identities are destabilized and reconfigured through the characters' existential struggles. This study addresses two questions: (1) how are European rationality and Eastern spirituality narratively constructed in the novel, and (2) how are identity and modernity dismantled through the characters' inner conflicts and relationships? Employing qualitative interpretive literary analysis informed by Derridean deconstruction and postcolonial theory, the article traces the text's ambivalent and paradoxical structures of meaning. The findings show that the protagonist Muhsin's dialogues with the Russian intellectual Ivan expose the existential emptiness of a Western rationality that excludes the transcendent from its account of the world, while Muhsin's admission of a faith as fragile and wavering as a flower in the wind reveals Eastern spirituality to be equally unstable once subjected to modern rationalization. Through the Opera scene—where Muhsin's aesthetic and emotional response is set against Ivan's disillusioned critique of Europe—the novel reframes modernity not as a fixed Western achievement but as a hybrid third space of identity negotiation. The study contributes a deconstructive rereading that moves beyond the civilizational-conflict paradigm, demonstrating how al-Hakim's narrative unsettles the very binary it appears to stage.

Abstract

Abstract Previous studies on religious moderation and peacebuilding in Indonesia have primarily focused on social resilience, community harmony, and conflict prevention, while limited attention has been given to women’s agency as grassroots actors in constructing religious moderation within multicultural communities. This study aims to analyze the role of women in the Wahid Foundation’s Peace Village program and examine how the program empowers women as agents of peace and religious moderation. Employing a qualitative field research approach, the study was conducted in Candirenggo Village, Malang Regency, one of the Peace Village sites. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that women play strategic roles in strengthening religious moderation through three interconnected dimensions: enhancing social inclusion through economic empowerment, participating in early detection and response mechanisms for potential social conflicts, and contributing to conflict resolution and community peacebuilding. Through training, intergroup dialogue, and participation in local decision-making processes, women actively promote tolerance, social cohesion, and inclusive community relations. The findings also demonstrate that women’s roles extend beyond traditional domestic responsibilities toward broader participation in social advocacy and local governance. The study supports the applicability of Role Theory in explaining how women negotiate social expectations and assume strategic roles as grassroots peace actors in multicultural settings. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of gender-inclusive community-based initiatives in strengthening social cohesion and preventing intolerance and violent extremism. Keywords: Women; Religious Moderation; Peace Village; Peacebuilding; Grassroots Agencyem>Abstrak Penelitian tentang moderasi beragama dan pembangunan perdamaian di Indonesia selama ini lebih banyak berfokus pada ketahanan sosial, harmoni masyarakat, dan pencegahan konflik, sementara kajian mengenai agensi perempuan sebagai aktor akar rumput dalam membangun moderasi beragama di masyarakat multikultural masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran perempuan dalam Program Desa Damai Wahid Foundation serta mengkaji bagaimana program tersebut memberdayakan perempuan sebagai agen perdamaian dan moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan di Desa Candirenggo, Kabupaten Malang, sebagai salah satu lokasi Program Desa Damai. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki peran strategis dalam memperkuat moderasi beragama melalui tiga dimensi yang saling berkaitan, yaitu penguatan inklusi sosial melalui pemberdayaan ekonomi, keterlibatan dalam mekanisme deteksi dini dan respons terhadap potensi konflik sosial, serta partisipasi dalam resolusi konflik dan pembangunan perdamaian di tingkat komunitas. Melalui pelatihan, dialog antarkelompok, dan keterlibatan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan lokal, perempuan secara aktif mendorong tumbuhnya toleransi, kohesi sosial, dan relasi sosial yang inklusif. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa peran perempuan tidak lagi terbatas pada ranah domestik, tetapi meluas ke bidang advokasi sosial dan tata kelola masyarakat. Penelitian ini memperkuat relevansi Teori Peran dalam menjelaskan bagaimana perempuan menegosiasikan ekspektasi sosial dan mengambil peran strategis sebagai agen perdamaian di masyarakat multikultural. Secara praktis, temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya inisiatif perdamaian berbasis komunitas yang inklusif gender dalam memperkuat kohesi sosial serta mencegah intoleransi dan ekstremisme berbasis kekerasan.
