Abstract

ABSTRACT This review explains the way how online marketing has been replacing traditional marketing in terms of marketing mix. This replacement might happen, because online marketing can give advantages, i.e., offering on-time delivery, increasing effectiveness of two way interactions between buyer and seller, and creating online communities (Szmigin, et al, 2005). The transition of atoms to bits format reflects that tangible products in traditional marketing is being digitalized. The marketing strategies also move from multi level product concept to customer customization. In online marketing, buyers can control over prices, hence pricing trend has been moving from fixed price to dynamic price. In terms of promotion, online marketing becomes a complementary of traditional communication tools, where the strategy has a tendency to move from personnel selling to direct marketing. However, there are some debates whether online marketing will replace the position of traditional marketing. This review applies Indonesia as a measurement of this transition. It could be argued that in short run, commonly, the customers in Indonesia still remains in traditional marketing, because it dominates the business systems and cultures. There are some factors impeding the shift, i.e., lack in infrastructure and capital investment. However, in long run, online marketing is supposed to replace traditional marketing but incompletely. Abstract

Abstract.     MSMEs, which play an important role in the Indonesian economy, cannot be avoided from the serious impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the decline in production and trade values, a number of workers lost their jobs. In times of crisis, many businesses have to close down as a result of restrictions in the social and economic fields. But apart from that, there are also many MSMEs that can survive and are able to get through the pandemic. Therefore, the phenomenon of business resilience is important to study and research. The aim of this research is to look at the factors that influence the resilience of a business. The focus of the research is on businesses in the MSME classification, especially in Manado City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling by determining the criteria for respondents who are MSMEs in Manado City, who have been running a business for more than 4 years. In this study, the sample size was 63 respondents. The results of this research found that Entrepreneurial Characteristics and Technological Capabilities have a significant effect on Business Resilience, while Government Support has an insignificant effect on MSME Business Resilience in Manado City in the post-pandemic period. Abstrak.  UMKM yang memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia tak terhindarkan dari dampak serius oleh pandemi COVID-19. Akibat turunnya jumlah produksi dan nilai perdagangan, sejumlah pekerja yang kehilangan pekerjaannya. Dalam masa krisis, banyak usaha yang harus gulung tikar sebagai dampak dari pembatasan di bidang sosial dan ekonomi. Namun terlepas dari itu, banyak juga UMKM yang dapat bertahan dan mampu melewati masa pandemi. Oleh sebab itu, fenomena ketahanan usaha ini penting untuk dikaji dan diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketahanan suatu bisnis. Fokus penelitian adalah pada usaha dalam klasifikasi UMKM khususnya di Kota Manado. Teknik pengambilan sampel bersifat purposive sampling dengan menetapkan kriteria responden yang merupakan pelaku UMKM di Kota Manado, yang telah menjalankan bisnis selama lebih dari 4 tahun. Pada studi ini, besarnya sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Karakteristik Wirausaha dan Kapabilitas Teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Ketahanan Usaha, sedangkan Dukungan Pemerintah berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Ketahanan Usaha UMKM di Kota Manado pada masa pasca-pandemi.

Abstract

The adoption of digital payment systems, such as QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), is becoming increasingly relevant in this modern era. However, there is a notable lack of research focusing specifically on the adoption of these systems within traditional settings. Thus, this thesis addresses this gap by Examining the Influence of Perceived Risk and User-Friendliness on the Usage Intention of QRIS in Bersehati Traditional Market, the largest traditional market in Manado. Involving 100 respondents, the research uses the Purposive Sampling Technique and analyzes using SPSS 29 software. The findings reveal that both Perceived Risk and User-Friendliness influence the intention to use QRIS. However, User-Friendliness has a greater influence on usage intention compared to Perceived Risk. These results underscore the importance of addressing perceived risks and enhancing user-friendliness as key strategies in promoting the widespread adoption of QRIS as a digital payment system.   Keywords: Perceived Risk, User-Friendliness, Usage Intention, QRIS, Digital Payment Systems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Persepsi Manfaat, Persepsi Kemudahan dan E-Trust terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Ulang Tiket Bioskop pada Pengguna Aplikasi TIX ID di Kota Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model penelitian menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan literatur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh masyarakat Kota Manado yang pernah menggunakan aplikasi TIX ID dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Persespsi Manfaat memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Ulang Tiket Bioskop pada Pengguna Aplikasi TIX ID di Kota Manado. 2) Persespsi Kemudahan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Ulang Tiket Bioskop pada Pengguna Aplikasi TIX ID di Kota Manado. 3) E-Trust tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Ulang Tiket Bioskop pada Pengguna Aplikasi TIX ID di Kota Manado. 4) Persespsi Manfaat, Persepsi Kemuadahan dan E-Trust secara simultan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Ulang Tiket Bioskop pada Pengguna Aplikasi TIX ID di Kota Manado.   Kata Kunci: Persepsi Manfaat, Persepsi Kemudahan, E-Trust, Keputusan Pembelian Ulang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and product quality on customer satisfaction at Starbucks Coffee Manado. The approach in this study, using research with a quantitative approach and a research model using multiple linear regression analysis. Data was collected through questionnaires and literature.  The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, which in the implementation of this technique uses a type of non probability sampling. Respondents in this study were 92 respondents. The results showed that, 1) Simultaneously, brand image and product quality have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Starbucks Coffee Manado. 2) Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Starbucks Coffee Manado. 3) Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Starbucks Coffee Manado.   Keywords: Brand Image, Product Quality, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

 This study aims to analyse the online game player of Genshin Impact, one of the popular cross platforms online games and to analyse also a strategic development for gaming industry based on the player behaviour. The variable in this study is Consumer Behaviour. This research uses a qualitative method with a sample of 15 Genshin Impact players in Manado that already played the game for minimum 2 months. Data was collected through face to face in depth interview. The results of this study indicate that based on player’s preference, enjoyment and satisfaction can build a certain behaviour when playing the game also have an impact to player’s long term gaming engagement. A company also can make a strategy based on player’s preference, enjoyment and satisfaction so the player may stay to play the game for a long term of time.   Keywords: Consumer Behaviour

Abstract

The rapid growth of E-Commerce makes customer satisfaction a crucial factor in the increasingly fierce market competition.  In the world of e-commerce, customer satisfaction should be a major concern because it is influenced by various factors. To assess the level of customer satisfaction, two important aspects that need to be considered are service quality and E-Trust, which play a major role in building loyalty and improving the online shopping experience. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of E-Service Quality, and E-Trust on Customer Satisfaction at TikTok Shop in Manado. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The data analysis techniques used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, using the IBM SPSS 30 statistical program. The result of this study stated that E-Service Quality (X1), and E-Trust (X2) have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction (Y) partially, and then simultaneously E-Service Quality (X1), and E-Trust (X2) have a positive significant effect on Customer Satisfaction (Y).   Keywords: E-Service Quality, E-Trust, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of work conflict, workload, and employee engagement on employee performance at PT Alam Bumi Enterpresis Cokelat Sulamina. Employee performance is a crucial factor in achieving company goals, so it is necessary to understand the factors that influence it. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a survey method. The population in this study is all 35 permanent employees of PT Alam Bumi Enterpresis Cokelat Sulamina. The sampling technique used saturated sampling technique (census), where all members of the population were sampled. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis method processed through SPSS version 26. The results of the study showed that overall, variables involving Work Conflict (X1), Workload (X2), and Employee Engagement (X3) together had a significant influence on Employee Performance (Y). This can be seen from the calculated F of 18.601 which is greater than the f table, and the significance value (sig = 0.000) is smaller than the significance level (0.05). Which means, H1 is accepted. When analyzed individually, the Work Conflict Variable (X1) shows a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), with a calculated t value of 2.202 < t table 2.037 and a significance level of 0.036 < 0.05, which means the H2 hypothesis is accepted. On the other hand, Workload (X2) has a significant effect on mployee Performance, with a calculated t value of 3.331 > t table 2.037 and a significance level of 0.002 < 0.05, so the H3 hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, Employee Engagement (X3) also shows an insignificant effect on Employee Performance (Y), with a calculated t value of 0.479 < t table 2.037 and a significance level of 0.635 < 0.05, which means H4 is rejected. Overall, this study concludes that the Work Conflict Variable. Workload. Has an Influential and Significant Effect on Employee Performance. While Employee Engagement has an insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor penting dalam pencapaian tujuan perusahaan, sehingga perlu dipahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap PT Alam Bumi Enterpresis Cokelat Sulamina, yang berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh (sensus), di mana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda yang di olah melalui SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, variabel melibatkan Konflik Kerja (X1), Beban Kerja (X2), dan EmployeeEngagement (X3) secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari F hitung sebesar 18, 601 yang lebih besar dari f tabel, dan nilai signifikansinya (sig = 0,000) lebih kecil dari taraf signifikan (0,05). Yang berarti, H1 diterima. ketika dianalisis secara individu, Variabel Konflik Kerja (X1) menunjukkan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karywan (Y), dengan nilai t hitung 2,202 < t tabel 2,037 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,036 < 0,05, yang berarti hipotesis H2 diterima. Sebaliknya, Beban Kerja (X2) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, dengan nilai t hitung 3.331 > t tabel 2,037 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis H3 diterima. Sementara itu, Employee Engagement (X3) juga menunjukkan berpengaruh Tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y), dengan nilai t hitung 0.479 < t tabel 2,037 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,635 < 0,05, yang berarti H4 di Tolak. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Variabel Konflik Kerja. Beban Kerja. Berpengaruh dan Signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Sedangkan Employee Engagement berpengaruh tidak signifikan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Kata Kunci : Konflik Kerja, Beban Kerja, Employee Engagemen, dan Kinerja Karyawan
