Abstract

Penghijauan merupakan usaha untuk menanam pohon dan tumbuhan di tempat yang dianggap bisa menjadi tumbuh kembang tumbuhan tersebut. Penghijauan/reboisasi dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk menciptakan suatu areal yang asri dengan berbagai manfaat lingkungan seperti menjaga keseimbangan sistem air di alam, mencegah terjadinya erosi dan pengikisan tanah. Peran dan fungsi tanaman buah bagi lingkungan perlu disoaialisasikan kepada masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini ditujukan (1) untuk mensosialisasikan peran dan fungsi tanaman buah-buahan di masyarakat sekitar pesisir Watu Later Dusun Rawatrate. (2) mengembangkan kreativitas mahasiswa serta menjadikan mahasiswa untuk lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan.  Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berupa sosialisasi, diskusi dan penanaman pohon buah. Kegiatan penghijauan dilaksanakan secara bersama-sama pada bulan Mei 2019 yang bertempat di Dusun Rawatrate, Desa Sitiarjo Kabupaten Malang. Dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan ini melibatkan civitas akademika Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan sebanyak 20 orang dan masyarakat sekitar. Pelaksanaannya meliputi: (1) Kegiatan bersih-bersih di areal pesisir Watu Leter yang akan dijadikan lokasi penghijauan, (2) Kegiatan penanaman bibit pohon buah, dan (3) Kegiatan pemeliharaan tanaman buah dalam upaya konservasi lingkungan yang merupakan tanggung jawab bersama dilakukan secara bergiliran dengan sistem piket harian. Adapun bibit tanaman yang ditanam diantaranya buah Sirsak dan Mangga.

Abstract

Metro River is a river that passes through Malang City and empties into Karangkates Dam. The increasing number of residents of Malang City resulted in more volume of waste water produced, and one of them is dumped on the Metro River. This affects the increasing pollution load received by the river so that it affects the decreasing of tamping capacity of river pollution load. Changes in water quality in rivers lead to changes in macrozoobenthic community composition. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the quality status of Metro River by using macrozoobentos animals. The purpose of this research is to make the classification of Metro River based on macrozoobentos animal community in determining the water quality status of Metro River based on macrozoobentos and the classification of pollution level that happened. The research method is field observation, water quality measurement of Metro river and macrozoobentos sampling. The results showed that the distribution of macroinvetebrata in the Site of group of Banana Temple was from Gastropoda family, Leptophlebiidae, Chloroperliidae, and Baetidae on rocks with fast current velocity (1.02 m3 / s), 17-27 ° C, BOD level 3.7 mg / l, and COD content of 20.8 mg / l. While on the Site of group Merjosari, Karang Besuki, Bandulan and Sitirejo were found macrozoobentos from Chironomidae, Hydrop sychidae and Lumbri cullidae families, on the substrate of mud and sand, with slow flow rate (0.0052 - 0.0675 m3 / s), BOD 21, 8 - 45.7 mg / l, and COD content 107.8 -267.2 mg / l. The status of upper Brantas river waters determined by using the BMWP Index of the Pisang Candi, Merjosari, Karang Besuki, Bandulan and Sitirejo groups has medium gray water status with ASPT values ranging from 4 to 6.2.  Keywords: macrozoobentos, Water Quality Status of River, BOD, COD

Abstract

Pembangunan dan Peningkatan Jalan Gugus Pulau 4 yang merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam rangka membangun dan memelihara infrastruktur jalan yang menjadi aset nasional secara umum dan khususnya pada Provinsi Maluku. Jalan lingkar di pulau Gorom ini yang luas daerahnya lebih dari 7.239.575,446 m2 dikerjakan pada segmen pertama sepanjang 4 km, merupakan jalan baru yang di kerjakan di atas tanah dasar untuk menghubungkan antara desa Tunas, Amarwawatu, Klitufa ke desa yang berada dikecamatan Gorom kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan perkerasan lentur dan kebutuhan anggaran biaya pada ruas jalan tersebut. Data-data yang dibutuhkan adalah data CBR, Lalulintas Harian dan juga Gambar Rencana. Data Lalulintas Harian yang dipakai dua tahun kebelakang, tahun 2016 sampai 2017, data CBR diperoleh dari PT. Paku Alam Raya. Data-data tersebut merupakan data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan pada perkerasan lentur jalan raya adalah Metode Bina Marga 2017 dan perhitungan Rencana Anggaran Biaya mengacu pada Analisa Harga Satuan Dasar tahun 2016. Hasil perhitungan perencanaan peningkatan perkerasan lentur dengan umur rencana 10 tahun menunjukan bahwa pada pembangunan jalan perkerasan menggunakan Laston didapatkan tebal perkerasan lentur jalan baru dengan lebar 7 m x yaitu AC-WC setebal 4 cm, AC-BC setebal 6 cm, AC Base setebal 10,5 cm dan Lapis Pondasi Atas (LPA) setebal 30 cm. Sedangkan pada struktur perkerasan Eksisting perlu penambahan (overlay) dengan lebar 5 m setebal AC – WC tebal 4 cm , dan LPA tebal 40 cm. Besar biaya yang diperlukan untuk peningkatan jalan dengan Rencana Anggaran Biaya sebesar Rp 17.170.115.190,00 pada ruas Jalan Lingkar Pulau Gorom Segmen I sepanjang 4 km.

Abstract

Utilizing recycled waste as an additional construction material is an innovation that can reduce the negative environmental impacts caused by waste. One of the wastes that can be utilized in this case is aluminum cans. The use of aluminum fiber in concrete mixtures is appropriate since aluminum is resistant to corrosion or rust. This research aims to determine the effect of adding aluminum fiber on the compressive strength of concrete. The aluminum cans were shaved into fibers with dimensions of 2 x 35 mm. The resulting aluminum fiber is then added into the concrete mixture with a percentage of 0%, 0.05%, 0.075%, 0.1%, and 0.125% of the total volume of the test objects. Tests for compressive strength was then carried out after test specimens were aged for 28 days. The test results showed a peak compressive strength of (20.72 ± 0.35) MPa is observed at the addition of 0.05% aluminum fiber relative to the volume of concrete used for testing. A regression analysis was performed based on the relationship between the amount of aluminum fiber additive and the resulting compressive strength. Based on this analysis, the optimum value for aluminum fiber to be added to the concrete is 0.040% of its volume.

Abstract

East Java has Malang City as the second-largest city. Common problems that occur in big cities in Indonesia are overcrowding and increasingly limited land. The solution to this problem is to develop vertical housing types such as apartments and flats. The need for new apartment development as a response to high public demand, by creating an analytical hierarchy process and a system for apartment developers, will assist apartment developers in making decisions. With AHP, you can determine the suitability of the apartment construction location with supporting parameters, namely slope maps, road network accessibility maps, existing land use maps, spatial pattern maps, distance maps to public facilities, and water availability maps. The results of the analysis of the suitability of apartment development in the city of Malang using AHP and GIS are then studied for the suitability of land use against the RTRW so that the implementation and development of apartment development in the city of Malang are according to plan. So that decision-making can be relevant and make the city of Malang an ideal city.
