Abstract

Dodol is classified as a semi-wet snack with a chewy texture and does not last long to be stored because it is susceptible to microbial contamination. Handling dodol from the production process to packaging needs to consider food safety so that its quality can be maintained and food contamination can be avoided. Sanitation Standard Process Procedure (SSOP) is one of the main requirements for food processing, including dodol. Food sanitation is an essential part of the dodol quality control process. This community service (PkM) aims to provide assistance and training to improve the quality of dodol in the "D'Tungku" betawi dodol business Hj Muhaya Bojong Gede Bogor. A straightforward application of food sanitation can be seen in workers' clothes. Production clothing must cover all parts of the body, thereby reducing contamination originating from the individual's body, such as sweat. Headgear and masks complement production clothing to protect against product contamination, especially hair and respiratory droplets. In addition to the dodol production process, the packaging process is also an essential part of maintaining the quality of dodol. This PkM provides several alternative proposals for dodol packaging, including vacuum packaging, which aims to make dodol more widely accepted. This PkM is expected to bring benefits to Hj. Muhaya's "D'Tungku" dodol business.

Abstract

Integrated farming System (IFS) is a system that combines agricultural activities, farms, and other sciences related to agriculture in one land, so it is expected to be one of the solutions to increase land productivity, and environmental conservation. In implementing the field of IFS implementation to the community, especially farmers and ranchers require guidance and mentoring, so as to perform the IFS run continuously. Empowering the community through Village partnership Development Program (PPDM) aims to improve community empowerment in corn farming, dairy cattle, and make use of waste in Injeman Sub-village, Cibodas Village, Pasirjambu Subistrict, Bandung District. The methods of implementation include counseling, training, focus group discussion, mentoring, as well as the development of land examples IFS. By implementing IFS, then the environment of cow cage becomes cleaner, increased livestock feed from fermented corn waste (silage), the production of organic fertilizer, the existence of renewable energy from cow dung (biogas), and the emergence of Employment from the organic fertilizer business. But in the implementation of the empowerment activities are experienced several obstacles, such as farmers who are not accustomed to use organic fertilizer and ranches who are not accustomed to use silage as livestock feed. Thus it is necessary to mentoring and suppervision both farmers and ranches on the implementation at the following year.

Abstract

Abstract

Pada 11 Maret 2020, WHO menyatakan pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Waste management in Kampung Injeuman Cibodas Village, Pasirjambu District, Bandung Regency still applies the conventional concept (collect-transport-dispose). This management approach does not support the vision of Desa Cibodas towards Eco-Village. In order to realize the vision of Cibodas Village through waste management at TPS 3R Kampung Injeuman, it is necessary to study the generation, composition and value recovery factor at TPS 3R Kampung Injeuman. The method of measuring data directly at the research site includes the generation of waste entering the 3R TPS, waste density, and waste composition using the load count analysis method based on SNI 19-3964-1994. Waste generation at TPS 3R Kampung Injeuman is 1,015,445 kg/day consisting of organic waste of 704,755 kg/day and non-organic waste of 310,7 kg/day. Then, from the composition data, it is known that waste that can still be reused is represented in percent of the recovery factor for organic waste of 91,81%; plastic waste by 46,69%; paper waste by 80.942%; metal waste by 100%; glass waste by 70%; and cloth waste by 58,67%.

Abstract

Rangkasbitung Sub-district (105 25’ – 106 30’ EL and 6 18’ – 7 00’ SL) is the capital city of Lebak Regency which has an area of 7,252 Ha. Based on the Master Plan of Lebak Regency 2014 – 2034, It will be built the toll roads and industrial areas in Nameng Village, Citeras Village, and Mekarsari Village. Therefore the Rangkasbitung will become a rapidly growing urban area. The sanitation services are still 60,63%. To achieve the Goal 6 of SDGs, then this paper aims to design an analytical technique the sewerage system in order to achieve sanitation for all, and to recommend the planning phases in order to be effective and efficient sewerage system until the end of the 2040. The Sewerage system design has anticipated the Ciujung River and Ciberang River with seven (7) tributaries that pass through this sub-district. The location of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is designed at a low elevation, namely in Kolelet Wetan, Nameng, and Mekarsari Village by considering the flood-free areas and topography. The recommendations for the construction phases are based on population density and the service area of the WWTP location. The total wastewater discharge is designed as 510.367 L/sec, which will be implemented into two phases. The first phase will build WWTP A = 208.937 L/sec and WWTP B = 275.188 L/sec, then WWTP C = 26.242 L/sec in the second phase. The design of the trunk sewer has a total 24,556 m length, of which 19,043 m will be in the first phase and 5,513 m will be in the second phase. The diameter of the trunk sewer ranges from 300 mm to 1,000 mm. The first phase indicated depth by diameter (d/D) ratio in the range of 55% - 78%, and the velocity range of 0.68 – 2.24 m/sec. The final phase indicated 61% - 75% and the velocity range of 0.69 – 2.24 m/sec.
