Abstract

Pentingnya kebersihan tangan dalam pencegahan penularan mikroorganisme dan mengurangi penyebaran infeksi telah menjadi kebiasaan manusia setelah terjadi pandemi global coronavirus (Covid-19). Padasaatmulaiterjadiwabah, praktisi pendidikan telah berkonsentasi pada kegiatan mencuci tangan dan kebersihan tangan yang memadai. Berbagai macam produk pencuci tangan telah digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk kebersihan tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas sabun cuci tangan, handsanitizer dan tisu basah dalam mengurangi jumlah koloni mikroba pada permukaan tangan. Penelitian ini merupakan true experiment dengan rancangan penelitian posttest only control group design yang dilaksanakan di perguruan tinggi Poltekkes Kemenkes Jayapura terhadap 24 petugas pranata laboratorium pendidikanyang secara acak dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok intervensi masing-masing 8 peserta. Peserta diinstruksikan untuk bekerja sesuai tugas pokoknya di laboratorium selama 3-5 jam, proses pencuciantangan dengan menggunakan pedoman WHO. Swab tangan dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi pada ketiga kelompok dan dihitung nilai rata-rata colony forming unit (CFU) untuk setiap kelompok. Hasil. Persentase penurunan tertinggi pada kelompok mencuci tangan dengan handsanitizer (84,30%), diikuti oleh kelompok sabun dan air (81,90%) dan terendah untuk kelompok tisu basah  (51,95%). Perbedaan CFU pada semua kelompok perlakuan tidak tidak signifikan (p = 0,214). Kesimpulan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikanterhadappotensi desinfeksi tangan antara handsanitizer, sabun dan air atau tisu basah. Ketiga pembersih tangan memiliki kemampuan dalam mengurangi jumlah kontaminasi mikroba pada tangan petugas laboratoriumpendidikan. The importance of hand hygiene in preventing the transmission of microorganisms and reducing the spread of infection has become a new habit after the global coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. In the months since the outbreak, education practitioners have concentrated on adequate hand washing and hand hygiene. A wide variety of handwashing products have been used as an alternative to hand hygiene. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of hand soap, hand sanitizer, and wet wipes in reducing the number of microbial colonies on hand surfaces. This study is a true experiment with a posttest-only control group design research conducted in Jayapura Health Polytechnic College involving 24 educational laboratory personnel who were randomly divided into three intervention groups with 8 participants each. Participants were instructed to work according to their main tasks in each laboratory for 3-5 hours, then they were divided into three groups: soap and water group, hand sanitizer group, and wet wipes group. All handwashing was done according to WHO guidelines for handwashing. Hand swabs were performed before and after the intervention in the three groups and the average colony-forming unit (CFU) value was calculated for each group. Results. The highest percentage of decline was in the hand sanitizer group (84,30%), followed by the soap and water group (81,90%) and the lowest for the wet wipes group (51,95%). The difference in CFU in all treatment groups was not significant (p = 0,214). The results of the study showed that there was no significant difference in the potential ability for hand disinfection between hand sanitizer, soap, and water or wet wipes. All three hand sanitizers can reduce the amount of microbial contamination in the hands of laboratory workers.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan dua pertemuan untuk setiap siklusnya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika kelas VIIB SMPN 1 Mawasangka melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIB SMPN 1 Mawasangka. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 76.32% oleh guru dan 62.50% oleh siswa, siklus II mencapai 86.19% oleh guru dan 78.95% oleh siswa. Pada siklus III mencapai 91.45% oleh guru dan 84.87% oleh siswa. Hasil belajar matematika siswa meningkat dari hasil tes awat 30% siswa yang memenuhi standar ketuntasan belajar dan indikator kinerja meningkat pada hasil tes siklus I  menjadi 45% siswa dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 65% siswa dan pada siklus III menjadi 80% siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VIIB SMPN 1 Mawasangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, (2) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, (3) Pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, (4) Perbedaan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 1 Wawonii Tenggara dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh (1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI meningkat, (2) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional juga meningkat, (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI. (4) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individuallization, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematatika.

Abstract

Nowadays the classroom management is very important for the teacher. In Indonesia, the class had several categories. Namely, international class and regular class. The teacher need to be aware of this phenomenon. They should established some strategies in order to manage their class. The population in Indonesian school nowadays was various. There are small and large classes. On this research, the researchers would like to know what kind of strategies that the teacher used in managing the large class. On this research, the researcher used Qualitative approach in the form of Descriptive qualitative design. The result found that there are many strategies that the teacher can use in managing the large class.

Abstract

Women entrepreneurship in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays a vital role in the local economy. However, women entrepreneurs often face complex emotional and psychological challenges due to their dual roles as housewives and entrepreneurs. Market uncertainty, social pressure, and lack of support from their environment further burden their workload. This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of women micro MSMEs, particularly in dealing with the psychological pressures of carrying out these roles. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach with seven informants from the culinary, handicraft, and online trading sectors. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation, then analyzed using a thematic approach based on the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the study revealed four main themes: (1) the pressure of dual roles that often trigger stress and emotional exhaustion (burnout), (2) chronic anxiety related to fear of business failure and income instability, (3) spirituality and religious activities as meaning-based coping mechanisms, and (4) the importance of social support from partners, family, and community as a balance of emotional conditions. These findings confirm that the success and sustainability of women's businesses depend not only on economic capital or technical skills, but are also significantly influenced by mental health and the strength of social networks. Therefore, empowerment programs for women's MSMEs need to be designed holistically, encompassing psychosocial aspects, coping strategy training, and strengthening supportive and inclusive social networks.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the forms, meanings, and processes of innovation undertaken by traditional Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing the challenges of the digital era, with a particular emphasis on the role of local wisdom as a foundation for innovation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research explores the subjective experiences of MSMEs integrating cultural values with technological transformation. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using thematic methods. The results show that innovation in traditional MSMEs is not solely focused on technological aspects, but rather is the result of negotiations between cultural values, social adaptation, and modern market demands. Local wisdom has proven to be a source of values and ethics in product development, marketing strategies, and the digital transformation process. The innovation process occurs contextually and gradually, and is heavily influenced by community support and strong local social networks. This study confirms that culture-based innovation strategies provide a more sustainable and inclusive direction for MSMEs navigating the digital era. Therefore, digital transformation should not be separated from the social and cultural context in which MSMEs are rooted. This approach opens up space for a new understanding of more holistic innovation, which is not only technology-oriented, but also strengthens local identity and social cohesion within the MSME ecosystem.

Abstract

Zodia leaves (Evodia suaveolens) are endemic plants of Indonesia originating from Papua, widely known for their natural mosquito-repelling properties. Traditionally, local communities use these leaves by rubbing them directly onto the skin to avoid mosquito and insect bites. Zodia leaves contain active compounds that produce a distinctive aroma disliked by mosquitoes, making them an effective natural repellent. One of the diseases transmitted by mosquitoes is malaria, which attacks human red blood cells and is spread through the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes. A high population of mosquito larvae and adults in an area increases the risk of malaria transmission. Although vector control is commonly carried out using synthetic insecticides that provide rapid results, these chemicals may lead to negative effects such as insecticide resistance in mosquitoes and environmental pollution. Therefore, safer and more sustainable alternatives for vector control are urgently needed. The use of zodia leaves as a natural mosquito repellent is considered effective and environmentally friendly. This potential should be further explored as an alternative solution in the prevention of vector-borne diseases, particularly malaria, using an approach that prioritizes public health and environmental sustainability.
