Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan; (2) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan; (3) pengaruh disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja karyawan di Wisata Pantai Bintang Galesong Takalar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 28 karyawan Wisata Pantai Bintang Galesong Takalar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas butir instrumen menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Uji prasyarat analisis terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji multikolinearitas. Analisis data dalam rangka menjawab pertanyaan penelitian terdiri atas analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 76,3% dengan nilai r2 sebesar 0,763 dan Sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 80,2% dengan nilai r2 sebesar 0,802 dan Sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 34,9% dengan nilai R2 sebesar 34,946 dan Sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05; dan total sumbangan efektif sebesar 0,168%. Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the Price Earning Ratio and Price to Book Value as a basis for making stock investment decisions in coal sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period. The population in this study are coal sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique and eight company samples were obtained. Data collection techniques use documentation. Data analysis techniques use PER and PBV. The results of this research show that based on intrinsic value calculations using PER and compared with closing price, company shares that are undervalued include ADRO, BSSR, BYAN, GEMS, ITMG, MBAP, MYOH, and PTBA where the investment decision that can be taken is to buy shares or holding shares if already owned. Based on the intrinsic value calculation using PBV and compared with the closing price, company shares that are undervalued include ADRO, BYAN, GEMS, ITMG, MBAP, MYOH, and PTBA where the investment decision that can be taken is to buy shares or hold shares if they have owned, and one company, namely BSSR, is in an overvalued condition where the investment decision that can be taken is to sell shares.

Abstract

The progress of Islamic banking in Indonesia led to the merger of three Islamic banks, namely Bank Mandiri Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah, and Bank BRI Syariah became PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia. Financial performance is expected to improve compared to before, indicating the success of the merger. This study aims to determine the difference in financial performance using a comparative analysis of the profitability ratio of state-owned Islamic banks before the merger in 2019-2020 and after merging into PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. for 2021-2022 by measuring the level of ROA, ROE, and BOPO ratios in each bank. Data collection is used using documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using paired T-tests to determine there were significant differences before and after the merger. The results showed that there was a significant increase in each ratio after the merger. This indicates that there is an increase in financial performance after the merger.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of electronic word of mouth and price on purchasing decisions for Big Bananas in Makassar City partially and simultaneously. The population in this study are followers of the Big Bananas Instagram account, totaling 78,182 users as of November 2022. The sample used is based on the slovin formula with an error rate of 10%, namely 100 respondents. The sampling withdrawal technique is systematic random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, literature studies and interviews. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 22.00 for windows. The results showed that electronic word of mouth and price had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Big Bananas in Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability (ROA) in Food and Beverage companies listed on the IDX during the 2017-2022 period. The data collection method used is secondary data originating from financial reports of Food and Beverage companies registered on the IDX which has a population of 46 companies as research subjects. In this research, the sample was selected using the purposive sampling method and 12 companies were obtained. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 27 software application. Partial research results show that: 1) Cash turnover has a negative and significant effect on profitability, 2) Receivables turnover has a negative and significant effect on profitability, 3) Inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability. The research results simultaneously show that cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover simultaneously influence profitability.

Abstract

In the last few decades, entrepreneurship has become one of the main pillars of economic development, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Makassar City, as one of the economic centers in Eastern Indonesia, has an important role in encouraging the growth of the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. One of the efforts made by the government and various institutions is to develop a Business Incubator Program, which aims to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs through educational support, training and guidance. In Makassar District, Bara-Baraya Timur Village, the development of local entrepreneurs is increasingly being paid attention to. Business incubators in this area offer programs to help local entrepreneurs develop business skills, increase access to capital, and open wider networks. Although business incubators have proven successful in various countries, their application in each region can certainly produce different results, depending on the characteristics of the economic and social environment. In Bara-Baraya Timur Subdistrict, there are several challenges faced by one of the local entrepreneurs who were interviewed by researchers, such as a lack of management skills, as well as increasingly fierce competition. Therefore, the researcher decided to research more deeply into "The influence of business incubators on the entrepreneurial economy in Makassar City, Bara-Baraya Timur Subdistrict".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of occupational safety and health program on employee satisfaction at PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar customer service implementation unit in Makassar. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach and is a population study. The sample in this study were employees at the office of PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar customer service implementation unit in Makassar as many as 35 people. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linear regression tests and get results, namely: Based on the results of hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis tests, it shows that work safety and occupational health variables simultaneously affect employee satisfaction at PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar customer service implementing unit in Makassar. The results of hypothesis testing also show that work safety partially affects employee satisfaction at PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar customer service implementing unit in Makassar and occupational health partially affects employee satisfaction at PT PLN (Persero) North Makassar customer service implementing unit in Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and work motivation on employee productivity at PT. Telkom Regional VII Makassar. The research highlights the importance of balancing work and personal life, as well as work motivation, which significantly impacts employee productivity. A quantitative research method was employed, using questionnaires distributed to 60 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of work-life balance and work motivation on employee productivity. The findings reveal that work-life balance, partially, does not significantly influence productivity (significance value 0.229 > 0.05). In contrast, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on productivity (significance value 0.000 < 0.05). These results underscore the critical role of work motivation in enhancing productivity. The findings are expected to guide company management in designing policies that foster productivity improvement

Abstract

This study aims to determine stock investment decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic using a single index model. The population in this study is all the shares of companies that are included in the IDX30 market index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2021 period, namely 40 stocks, while the sample is 39 stocks selected based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection using documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using a single index model, starting with collecting the closing stock prices of each to get the optimal portfolio. The results of this study indicate that there are 29 stocks included in the optimal portfolio during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely (ADRO), (ANTM), (ASII), (BBCA), (BBNI), (BBRI), (BBTN), ( BMRI), (BRPT), (BTPS), (CPIN), (ERAA), (EXCL), (INCO), (INKP), (JPFA), (KLBF), (MIKA), (PGAS), (PTPP) , (PWON), (TBIG), (TINS), (TKIM), (TLKM), (TOWR), (UNTR), and (WSKT).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, price, and after-sales service on purchasing decisions for Honda brand Matic Motorbikes individually and simultaneously. The sample used was 100 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business who had been selected based on predetermined criteria. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaire and literature study. The data analysis technique consists of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test which consists of normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear analysis test, hypothesis testing, determinant coefficient test. All independent variables have a correlation that is in the same direction as the dependent variable (purchase decision). The most dominant variable influencing purchasing decisions is the product quality variable. Which means that the dependent variable purchasing decisions can be explained by variables consisting of product quality, price, and after-sales service, the rest is explained by other variables that are not examined.
