Abstract

This paper examines the application of the zonation system in the City of Pasuruan. Based on preliminary observations of the zoning system in Pasuruan through the Education and Culture Office of Pasuruan City, it showed that; (a) the zoning system has been implemented in Pasuruan City, (b) there are written regulations regarding the implementation of zoning system policies in Pasuruan City, (c) there are technical guidelines regarding zoning system policies in Pasuruan City, (d) there is socialization regarding the requirements and flow of registration admission of new students (PPDB), (e) there is a schedule and time for registration, (f) there is a score for PPDB supporting values, (g) there is a school capacity, and (h) there is a division of zoning area designations. The purpose of this study was to explain parents' perceptions, equal access and improve the quality of education. The research method in this study used field research methods, namely direct observation of the research subject (parents of students) and combined with literature study. The research approach wass a qualitative approach. The qualitative research procedure produced descriptive data in the form of sentences or writings from other researchers as reinforcement of explanations in the articles and field data that the authors refer to. From the results of the study, most of the parents of students assumed that the zoning system policy was a process of admitting new students based on distance, namely the distance between the house to the school. The positive impact was that parents of students did not bother thinking children's transportation costs. The students’ parents found that it was easier to monitor their children's interactions at school and in their neighborhood.Keywords: Sistem Zonasi, Akses dan Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan, Kota Pasuruan.

Abstract

Guna mendukung peran sebagai agen pertumbuhan ekonomi disamping penguasaan akademiknya, mahasiswa harus memiliki kemampuan dalam menulis proposal bisnis yang baik. Apalagi, Pusat Prestasi Nasional selalu mengundang mahasiswa untuk mengikuti Kompetisi Inovasi Bisnis Mahasiswa (KIBM). Program ini bertujuan untuk mendorong mahasiswa agar menghasilkan inovasi dalam berbisnis yang nantinya dapat menjadi kelangsungan hidupnya. Sayangnya, mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Wiranegara belum pernah mengetahui dan berpengalaman mengajukan proposal bisnis apapun termasuk untuk program KIBM yang diselenggarakan oleh Pusat Prestasi Nasional. Oleh karena itu, tim di sini melakukan pelatihan dan pemantauan intensif bagi para mahasiswa untuk menulis proposal bisnis yang berharga hingga berhasil diunggah ke dalam sistem KIBM. Program ini dilakukan selama 24 hari didukung oleh Pusat Pengembangan Bisnis (P2B) Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. Tiga puluh empat mahasiswa mengikuti program ini. Mahasiswa dikelompokkan di Whatsapp, dan menghasilkan 10 proposal yang telah diunggah untuk KIBM 2020

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam jurnal ini yakni mengenai pembudidayaan tanaman sayur dengan menggunakan media tanam pada polybag di Dusun Karangasem, Desa Tenggilis Rejo RT 01/RW 04 Kecamatan Gondangwetan Kabupaten Pasuruan dan pemanfaatan lahan kosong di Desa Karangketug Pasuruan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang pembudidayaan tanaman dengan menggunakan media tanam tanah pada polybag yang biasa dilakukan di rumah dan memanfaatkan lahan kosong untuk ditanami tanaman toga dan buah. Apalagi pada masa pandemic ini masyarakat dihimbau untuk selalu ada dirumah guna memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan yakni dengan observasi melalui pendekatan berupa sosialisasi kepada masyarakat sekitar. Baik secara individu maupun kelompok masyarakat akan mendapatkan pengalaman dari bidang yang sebelumnya belum pernah dilakukan, sehingga dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini harapannya juga akan membawa manfaat pada peningkatan ekonomi pada masa pandemi yaitu dengan bentuk hasil dari penanaman tersebut nanti dapat diperjual belikan.

Abstract

Elementary school or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers' competence in oral storytelling was needed as a form of role model for students to be able to develop their skills. It was caused to be able to develop speaking, students need exposure to listening material. Teachers need to create an atmosphere that allows students to practice using spoken language. Based on the results, in the context of learning at the basic education level for children, storytelling is able to increase the potential of their language skills by listening, then children are expected to be able to reflect back on the story in oral form. This article aimed to give an assistance of 5 teachers and 25 students of oral storytelling to get benefit of language skill. The researchers used Service Learning (SL) approach (Felten, & Clayton, 2011). It as a medium for integrating voluntary community service with active reflection which is expected to enrich and strengthen the material about bringing oral storytelling in developing students and teachers. Analyzing data used modeling, asignment, perform (Topi & Ramesh, 2002). Finally, the final results of all of our activities in the context of community service are: 1) There is a change in the behavior of teachers and students to develop activities based on oral storytelling skills, 2) The development of an oral storytelling culture, 3) An increase in oral storytelling skills, and 4 ) The emergence of awareness to find many oral stories in traditional societies that have not been widely written or spoken in a formal context. Abstract

Applying technology in teaching and learning activity must be arranged, and vividly combined with the expertise of lecturer/teacher since they have a lot of experience in conventional ways in the classroom. It means that in one time lecturer lectures in online, and in other time is through offline (classroom). This combination can be said as a blended learning. Theoretically, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic are kinds of students learning style. Moreover, this research is taken place to seek the truly learning style existed and its affection on student’s achievement. This research is conducted in English Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty at PGRI Wiranegara University. The total number of respondents in this research is 37 students. This research uses qualitative methods whereas the research design used is descriptive. There are three kinds of instruments used, they are; questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Based on the result of an analysis through questionnaire found that there are 6 kinds of learning style, they are;3 students are in visual learning style, 7 students are kinesthetic learning style, 8 students are visual-auditory learning style, I student is auditory-kinesthetic learning style, 10 students are invisual-kinesthetic learning style, and 8 students are in visual-auditory-kinesthetic learning style. Meanwhile, from the data gained through documentation as the test form indicates that the group of students with three visual-auditory-kinesthetic learning style had a higher total score with a total score of 432 with an average score of 86,4, secondly, a group of students with kinesthetic learning style who got a total score of 431 with an average score of 86,2, and the third was with a total score of 340 with an average score of 85 was a group of students with visual-auditory learning style. So, it can be concluded that the more learning style existed in a student, the more score is obtained.

Abstract

A research in management of a higher education field has a significant benefit in optimizing the quality of education. The aims of this research are to explain the trends in publication research on management of higher education and its implication to the next developmental researches. This research uses bibliometric analysis method with the data from the most frequently accessed index, Google Scholar database. The Data are collected from the available publications in Google scholar by searching the keywords on management, educational management, and management of higher education through the titles, the abstracts, as well as the keywords using the publish and perish software. The finding from the research mapping indicates that researchers tend to team up collectively in their institution. The majority of management researches in higher education is still dominated by researchers who adopt the function of educational management as the scientific sources in developing the management of higher education. The researchers recommend conducting a number of joint researches between institutions and cross countries to enrich scientific integration and propose some considerations to the policy makers for setting up a more efficient and comprehensive management policy of the higher education.

Abstract

The MBKM Program Policy provides ample space for students to acquire knowledge at tertiary institutions in a flexible manner. It not only requires them to attend lectures in a classroom setting but also allows them to gain knowledge and skills based on their competencies through the developed programs. The Merdeka Campus (MBKM) was officially launched in early 2020 by the Minister of Education and Culture through several regulations. Uniwara, as a tertiary institution, has been actively involved in MBKM activities since 2020. The implementation of MBKM at Uniwara began with the formulation of policies and the issuance of regulatory decrees by the Chancellor of Uniwara. The implementation process of MBKM involves authorized academic officials, namely the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Dean, and the Head of Study Program, all aiming for the successful implementation of the MBKM policy at Uniwara. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Implementation of the Independent Learning Campus policy of kemendikbudristek at Uniwara. In conducting the research, the authors gather various kinds of information relevant to the discussed topics
