Abstract

The objective of the research to describe and analyze the use of Brainstorming technique in increasing students' confidence in English speaking skills in class X IPS 4 SMAN 4 Kota Serang. In this research, focus on the use of Brainstorming Technique and as sub focuses on improving Self-confidence in English speaking skills the writer. This research uses qualitative research with this type of research method is descriptive. The instrument used voice and video recording devices and cameras from cellphones as well as accurate documents, journal, or books that are considered relevant based on records from various sources, observation and inteview guidelines. Technique of collecting data using three ways, namely interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique is to perform data reduction stages, display data, and conclude data. The results of the analysis are conveyed through the delivery of descriptive data. The results of the study, it can be concluded in general that the Brainstorming technique is considered capable of increasing students' confidence in English speaking skills in class X IPS 4 SMAN 4 Kota Serang in the 2021/2022 school year. Although the effect is not significant when used in distance learning. This can be proven based on the results of research conducted in non-test with the informants. Brainstorming can be used both as a teaching technique and as a teaching strategy. It is very useful for students to develop their reasoning skills, creative problem-solving skills, fluency in English language, self- motivation, and self-confidence

Abstract

This paper describes how to applying the Cooperative Learning Method with concept mapping learning in English Language Education Department. The overall knowledge domain speaking in the field is shown. It is underlined that the concept mapping serves as a suitable tool to support instructors in promoting students’ skill of speaking and in improving their understanding of new concepts. This study examines the effect of concept mapping methods and assessment on the English speaking skills of students in English Education Department at Banten Jaya University. The results of the research testing described in the previous can be drawn: 1). There is an effect of the Cooperative Learning method with the Concept mapping to the fourth semester students speaking skill in English Education Department 2) There is an effect of Assessment on the English speaking skills of fourth semester students of the English Education Department. 3) There is an interaction between the Cooperative Learning method and concept mapping with assessment in Concept Mapping method in Speaking skill of fourth Student in English Education Department. From the three findings above, it can be concluded that the application of the method of learning English speaking skills must consider students' Speaking skill assessments

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses evaluasi pembelajaran pada era digital di tingkat sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada praktik yang diterapkan di SDN Secang. Dalam konteks meningkatnya integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan dasar, evaluasi pembelajaran menjadi aspek penting untuk menjamin efektivitas dan relevansi proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru kelas, kepala sekolah, serta siswa kelas atas di SDN Secang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran telah diterapkan secara bertahap, meskipun masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti keterbatasan sarana, kompetensi digital guru, dan kesiapan siswa. Di sisi lain, teknologi terbukti memberikan peluang dalam penyajian penilaian yang lebih interaktif dan bervariasi, serta mempermudah proses analisis hasil belajar. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan guru, penyediaan infrastruktur, dan pengembangan sistem evaluasi digital yang ramah anak untuk mendukung implementasi pembelajaran era digital secara optimal di sekolah dasar.
