Abstract

According to data from Dinas Koperasi dan UKM of Banten province, the number of UKM/IKM in Banten has reached three hundred (300) thousand which is spread across 5 (five) districts/cities. With such large number of UKM/IKM, one of the obstacles faced by decision makers (government) is the difficulty in classifying the distribution of UKM/IKM where without correct mapping it will be difficult for decision makers to provide guidance that can increase the economic growth of UKM/IKM. The results of this study are a Geographic Information System (GIS) which shows a mapping of the distribution of UKM/IKM in Banten province based on the type of business. From the results of the mapping it is concluded that UKM/IKM with culinary types are concentrated in the city centre of both Cilegon City and also Serang City while UKM/IKM with craft business are concentrated in the suburbs.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing very rapidly, the advancement of information technology has triggered large and small companies to use information technology as a tool to face and win the competition which is increasingly fierce and competitive. Anugrah Hijau Florist & Nursery is a business that is engaged in the sale of ornamental plants and provides various kinds of medicinal plant products, seeds, fertilizers, and plant care needs. The sales method used by Anugrah Hijau Florist & Nursery currently buyers come directly to the location. The management of the transaction process used today is still conventional, there is no digital media to accommodate product data or sales and purchase transactions, the slow processing of sales transactions, and relying on catalog books makes plant data out of sequence which results in decreased employee performance and delayed reporting. The problem that will be studied in this research is about the design of the Point of Sale application that can change the transaction process that is still manual or conventional into digitalization. By using the UML method, the SDLC Prototype model, making Point of Sale applications can communicate well between developers and customers, developers can work better in determining customer needs, customers play an active role in system development, implementation becomes easier because users know what they expect. This application also uses the Laravel Framework to improve the development process which is getting faster and saves more time. The results obtained from this study are that the sales transaction process is more effective and efficient, product data and sales and purchase transactions are stored properly, and the reporting process becomes easier.

Abstract

The appointment of a lecturer tutoring the thesis at Banten Jaya University specifically has a computer science faculty. This faculty has five curricula. In the study program of Computer Engineering, the selection of a lecturer tutor for the thesis by the head of the study program, which in the process is done by determining directly by the head of the study program because the appointment of the tutor is determined through the meeting, because of the number of students who follow the theses then head of the study program takes a long enough time to choose the lecturer to each student. Then a decision-making system is needed so that students can identify tutoring lecturers by calculating based on criteria such as competence, linearity, functional post, and quota of lecturers. This study aims to build a decision support system that can give recommendations and determine the tutor of the thesis. Based on that, the research has developed a system with decision-making techniques using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. In contrast, the system development aids use the waterfall model and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as system design aids. The result is a decision-support system for the recommendation of lecturer tutoring a thesis based on the Website, from the results of the tests carried out removed the system, the system can give the recommendation lecturer to the student based on calculations made using the SMART method, the system also provides features for the selection of lecturers tutors in the thesis.
