This study focuses on the values of the local wisdom of hybrid Probolinggo community. The material object in this study is Taropan Ceremony. Taropan is a tradition carried out by the people of Probolinggo. The method used in this research is ethnographic method through data collection interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of this study note that Taropan exclusively happens only for the people of Probolinggo. The values of local wisdom in Taropan include (1) the values of brotherhood and (2) the value of religiosity. Overall, it can be seen that the values in Taropan are the fundamental element of the local wisdom values of Probolinggo, especially Pandalungan community that has a hybrid identity which are a mixture of Javanese and Madura wisdom values.

The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the capacity of science and technology in the promotion and marketing of Widoro Jaya SMEs in Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The urgency of this Community Service is due to the Covid-19 Pandemic factor that affects the decline in the survival of MSMEs in Probolinggo Regency. The implementation method that has been carried out is by assisting in product data collection, product design, product packaging design, and product marketing activities. The results of this Community Service activity are neatly organized product data collection, product design and packaging that are more attractive to consumers, as well as the creation of new media or marketing tools based on digital information and communication technology in networks that have an impact on easy access to the target market for products.

Abstract. The objectives of this study are Analysis of techniques, methods, and ideologiesused by translator on translation form and function directive illocutionary of speech act and to assess the quality of translation form and function directive illocutionary of speech act used in bilingual comic Baby Blues siaga satu anak pertama from accuracy, acceptability, and readability of translation aspects. This research was a descriptive, qualitative, and embedded research of translation. The finding of this study shows; first, 273 data of directive illocutionary utterances applied 11 function, such as commanding, asking, asserting, inviting, requesting, ordering, advicing, suggesting, urgeing, rejecting, forbiding, recommending, reminding, and convinceing. Second, 273 data of directive illocutionary utterances analyzed, translation technique identified 248 data oriented to source language and 163 data oriented to target language. Thirth, concerning with translation quality of directive illocutionary speech act utterance in comic Baby Blues siaga satu anak pertama can be concluded that the translation is accurate. In this case is showed from 255 data constitute the translation accurate, 17 data less accurate, and 1 data not accurate, 254 data acceptability, 18 data less acceptability, and 1 data not acceptability, then 161 data high readability, 97 data medium readability, and 15 data low readability translation. Some communities in Coastal Probolinggo have a business in making fish crackers. Fish crackers as home business (home industry) is a reliable livelihood to support everyday life. The problems faced by partners are the absence of equipment mixer and semi-automatic fish crackers and the condition is still manual, the use of unstructured accounting records and management has not been well ordered. The goal in this IbM activity is to improve the quality and quantity of fish crackers in order to meet the growing market demand. The method used in IbM activities is the substance of science and technology and training. This community service aims to increase literacy interest in students in the Surabaya and Probolinggo areas through short story writing training. The urgency of doing this community service activity is because students' interest in literacy activities is still low. The method used in this training is a tutorial method and online mentoring by utilizing the Zoom meeting application. During the training, participants received literature introduction materials, basic materials for writing short story genres, short story writing practices, and work discussions. The results of this community service activity are the ability to write short stories and the formation of student literacy interests, especially in reading literary works of the short story genre. This study aims to describe the patterns and kinds of the prefixes and suffixes of the Selogudigan dialect, a Javanese dialect used by the Selogudig society living in the Probolinggo district. The study is descriptive qualitative and uses a morphological approach to analyze the data, especially in affixation. An interview was done to collect and clarify the data. The interview is transcripted in a phonetical transcription by using IPA symbols. Based on the analysis, it is found that there are five significant prefixes and eight significant suffixes used in the Selogudigan dialect. The prefixes are {N-, i-, mən-, sə-, a-}. The prefix {N-} has allomorphs. They are {m-, n-, ŋ-, ɲ-, ŋə-}. The suffixes are {-i, -an, -ane, -ni, -ən, -nɔ, -ɔnɔ, -e}. The result of this study implies that the affixes which form the morphological pattern of Selogudig vocabularies are often pronounced not in a way the original affixes do. Not to mention, several affixes also change the word class of the root morpheme.

This community service aims to increase children's interest in learning through learning methods that involve parents and children in the new normal period. The urgency of carrying out this activity was due to the low interest in learning for children in various villages in the Kabupaten Probolinggo during the new normal period. This community service activity was carried out in Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. The method used in this activity is the tutorial and mentoring method which is carried out offline in Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. The result of this community service activity is the ability of parents as children's learning partners, and the formation of parent-child learning partnerships in Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. The Community Service Team for the English Study Program, Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, University of Panca Marga found two advantages, as follows: 1) the presence of parents who are concerned about the success of their children's education, and 2) an informal atmosphere is an option in training and mentoring parents in increasing children's learning interest in the new normal era. Metode kompetisi adalah metode pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan cara kompetisi atau lomba untuk meningkatkan minat belajar, dan mengukur tingkat keberhasilan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa atau peserta didik. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sejak usia dini di TK Tunas Harapan, Kota Probolinggo. Penetapan tujuan tersebut didasarkan pada pemahaman bahawa Bahasa Inggris merupakan lingua franca di era globalisasi. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran bahasa Inggris perlu diberikan pada siswa sejak usia dini. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tersebut ditemukan bahwa metode kompetisi dapat membuat siswa lebih bersemangat dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Hal itu tampak dari antusiasme dan keberanian siswa TK Tunas Harapan, Kota Probolinggo dalam evaluasi penilaian akhir yang diselenggarakan dengan model English Speaking Contest.
