Abstract

The design of the PSTI Electronic Service Information System, Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram is an advanced system that supports the correspondence process that is asked by students to ask for permission, such as research permit, submission of supporting data for the final assignment, submission of data for coursework, submission to college transfer , invite leave and be active again. This system works to make outgoing letters needed by students for submitting applications requested for this form above or processed by other parties as to the Admin Study Staff Program. The test results with the black box method all functions are by following the system proposed and expected by system users, especially students and admins. Based on the results of testing the Mean Opinion Score method, it can be concluded that 64% of respondents agreed and 36% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the design of electronic service information systems, informatics engineering study programs, engineering faculty, Mataram University.

Abstract

Parking lots are a common thing in everyday life. The problem of parking lot's density can be a problem for managers of a place. So to overcome the problem that can occur, this study aims to design a decision support system (DSS) to determine the density of parking lots by applying the concept of IoT and Tsukamoto's fuzzy method. IoT is used to automate data retrieval to create fuzzy rule patterns. In the Tsukamoto method, each rule is represented by IF-THEN. The method for system design in this study includes the design of hardware and software. In this design, data retrieval uses an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 and is processed with the IoT concept using Arduino UNO and ESP8266 microcontrollers. The sensor is placed on the exit and entry path of the vehicle on the parking lot to detect vehicles entering and exiting. The parking lot used in this study is miniature. Vehicle data is processed using Tsukamoto's fuzzy logic to determine parking density decisions. Data variables used are time, duration, and density of parking lots. DSS is designed using the Laravel framework. Based on the test results, it is known that IoT devices can perform their functions properly. DSS that is made in the form of a website can also function well. The results are based on error testing, obtained error for determining the parking density level is 7,68%.

Abstract

This research aims to build a chatbot based on Telegram application that integrated with academic information system in University of Mataram. The Telegram bot is expected as an alternative and more efficient way to access the academic information system. The development used the prototyping model as method of development. The Telegram bot is built using PHP that utilized the application programming interface provided by Telegram. The developed Telegram works properly displaying the results according to the commands entered. Performance of the integrated bot was measured by microtime function, to show the access time of any command. The results are then compared with the access time of the web based version that measured using the same function. The comparation shows that the access time of Telegram bot is more efficient than the web based version.

Abstract

Vaname shrimp is a type of aquaculture that has a high economic value and has relatively fast growth. Good water quality is key in the cultivation of vaname shrimp on ponds. However, monitoring of pond water conditions is still done manually and not done intensively. Internet of Things (IoT) and Early Warning System (EWS) as the latest technology can be a solution in periodic pond monitoring activities and give early warning to farm owners. Double Exponential Smoothing Holt is one method for forecasting in time series. In this study, the system predicts the potential for endangering the pond conditions, when there are indications of danger, it will inform the user via Telegram chat. The accuracy test value of the forecasting method used for water temperature is the MSE value of 0.01954 and MAPE of 9.0859%. Whereas for the water pH, the MSE value is 0.000155 and MAPE of 0.828%.

Abstract

Terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan khususnya bagi masyarakat Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pandemi yang terjadi merubah pola kehidupan ekonomi masyarakat di NTB, mulai dari pendapatan yang didapatkan, lapangan kerja, cara masyarakat melakukan pengeluaran sehari-hari, dan cara berbelanja yang paling banyak yaitu belanja makanan, serta munculnya cara belanja online. Kebiasan baru masyarkat berbelanja online dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pelaku usaha atau yang akan memulai usaha untuk melibatkan media digital dalam meningkatkan usahanya sehingga dapat diakses secara online. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengedukasi dan memberikan keterampilan kepada mitra untuk dapat menganalisis usaha dan terampil membuat konten digital menggunakan aplikasi. Materi yang disampaikan adalah Business Model Canvas (BMC) dan Copywriting. Mitra sangat antusias dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dan mendapat pengetahuan baru untuk memulai usaha dan mempromosikan usahanya. Pelatihan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan pembimbingan secara online selama 2 (dua) minggu pasca pelaksanaan pelatihan
