Abstract

The research was conducted to examine the consumption patterns of mothers single parents in the village craftsmen songket 30 ilir which is the center of the city of Palembang songket industry. The population size is songket 94 craftsmen, from the number of samples was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the consumption patterns of mothers craftsmen more food consumption amounting to Rp 606,653.223, - compared to non-food consumption, in which non-food consumption in an independent variable does not include the non-food consumption will be decreased by Rp 11.341.966, -. Food consumption will decline if education and increased investment, while non-food consumption will be reduced if women artisans to increase investment. Conclusion The results of this study of food consumption was higher than non-food consumption.

Abstract

The research is about how the collegian interest in choosing business Administration major. The respondents investigated in this research  was the collegian of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya majoring in Business Administration. To collect the data to find out collegian interest, the researcher used technique of questionnaire distribution.   From the questionnaire researcher distributed, 113 respondents  (60,43%)  were  agreed  that  choosing  majoring  Business Administration is basic of attitude of each collegian to that major and 122 respondents (65,24%) agreed that personality of someone have important role in choosing Business Administration major.  Besides that 114 respondents (60,96%) agreed that culture of each collegian have important role too, and then 88 respondents (47,06%) agreed that social class is the basic for choosing Business Administration major. From that result, researcher could conclude that personality, attitude, culture, and then social class of collegian were the most strong basic in making collegian interest in choosing Business Administration major. Thus the researcher recommended that Business Administration major of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya could increase quality of alumnus Business Administration major.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of academic consultant through interpersonal communication and teaching learning facilities to student motivation of  non engeneering department. The method used in this research was survey method.The population in this research is 1719 students and the number of samples were 95 students. The technique of data collection was using distribution questionnaires. To measure  the influence among the variables used tools of quantitative analysis using spss version 12.0. The result showed that independence variables are interpersonal communication and teaching learning facilities simultaneously affected toward students learning motivation are 43.40 %. And the two  independence and dependence variables the influence partial toward students learning motivation. Factor dominant in the influence toward student learning motivation is teaching learning facilities.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pengunjung terhadap fasilitas penunjang pada Perpustakaan Daerah Sumatera Selatan.  Penulis ingin mengetahui sudah seberapa baik fasilitas penunjang yang diberikan kepada pengunjung Perpustakaan Daerah Sumatera Selatan.   Hal ini dilakukan Karena rendahnya minat baca masyarakat Indonesia yaitu 0,01 persen (UNESCO: 2015, Sindo News.com) atau tak sampai satu judul (buku) per orangnya per tahun (yang dibaca) untuk buku bebas. Sedangkan Negara Singapura mencapai 0,45 persen pertahunnya dan Malaysia sekitar 3 orang membaca buku pertahunnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui berbagai teknik pengumpulan data, seperti wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 orang responden berisi pernyataan-pernyataan mengenai fasilitas penunjang di Perpustakaan Daerah Sumatera Selatan. Berdasarkan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal persepsi meliputi fisiolgis, perhatian, minat, kebutuhan yang searah, pengalaman dan ingatan, suasana hati, ukuran dan penempatan dari obyek atau stimulus, warna dari obyek-obyek, keunikan dan kekontrasan stimulus, intensitas dan kekuatan dari stimulus, motion atau gerakan.  Hasil menunjukkan  ada beberapa hal yang masih harus diperhatikan pihak Perpustakaan seperti kesediaan petugas perpustakaan dalam membantu pengunjung, fasilitas internet, fasilitas toilet dan musholla, fasilitas penjualan minuman elektronik, fasilitas koleksi bahan pustaka, dan pengunjung Perpustakaan yang sebagian besar dari kalangan mahasiswa/pelajar dan di dominasi oleh perempuan dan hanya sebagian kecil saja pengunjung berasal dari kalangan umum dan laki-laki.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis menyarankan agar pihak Perpustakaan lebih memperhatikan hal-hal tersebut untuk ditingkatkan menjadi lebih baik agar pengunjung merasa lebih nyaman.

Abstract

This research is aimed to test the effect of motivation, source of funds, tecnology and information access, market strategy, and entrepreneur skill on  the small and medium enterprises development. The research uses a data set consist of 325 small and medium women enterprises unit with 100 respondents.Regression analysis is used to compute the parameters. The results show that there are correlations between Motivation, source of funds,technology and information access, marketing strategy, and entrepreneur skill with enterprises development.Motivation has significant effect on the small and medium enterprises development. Source of funds, technology and information access, marketing strategy, and entrepreneur skill has no significant effect on the small and medium enterprises development.

Abstract

The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, learning orientation, competitive advantage and business performance especially food processing small businesses is interesting to study. Food processing small businesses in Palembang are the object of research with a sample of 179 people. Path analysis is used in this study to measure the amount of influence between variables. The findings of the study show that the entrepreneurial orientation variable has a significant effect on competitive advantage. Market orientation variable has no significant effect on competitive advantage. The learning orientation variable has a significant effect on competitive advantage. The competitive advantage variable has a significant effect on business performance. The results of this study can contribute to small businesses in improving business excellence and performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get know about: how the society's perception of Lorong Basah Night Culinary which is reviewed from for tourismcomponents are attractions, amenitas, accessibility and hospitality based on the perception of the people who have visited. The benefits of this research as a contribution to develop tourism components in Lorong Basah Night Culinary in order to continue to be known as a culinary tourism destination in the city of Palembang. This research is quantitative research with respondents cosisting of 115 society’s who have visited in Lorong Basah Night Culinary. The determinination of respondents by accidental sampling data collection is done by questionnaires, interview, documentation, and literature study. The result of the questionnaires is measured by using Likert scale then interpreted. The results represent that most society’s perceptions showed agree of the categories from four tourism components in Lorong Basah NightCulinary, but the scoring results show a small percentage of the accessibility component isabout 65% because there is one indicator in the neutral categoryand small result too of amenities component is amount to 65.6% because there are two indicators in the neutral category.

Abstract

This research on Burai Village aims to determine and assess the feasibility of Burai Village as a tourist village in Ogan Ilir Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using SWOT analysis. The result of the research is that Burai Village is feasible and can be used as a tourist village in Ogan Ilir Regency because it is supported by its geographical location, community culture, and existing village objects. The strategy used for the feasibility and development of Burai Village as a tourism village is the SO strategy by utilizing a large area of land for the construction of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism activities, making tour packages by using travel agents to sell tour packages to attract tourists to visit Burai Village, In collaboration with related agencies and public transport service providers to add routes to Burai Village and provide the maximum opportunity and role for the community in the development of tourist villages

Abstract

This study aims to determine the visitor's perception of the marketing mix of product, price, location, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with the main informants, observations and distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents. Of the seven mixes, each of them got an average response of respondents' achievements that fall into the Good criteria, but only three of these 7 marketing mixes such as product mix, location and promotion have a significant effect on visitor perceptions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Timeliness, Accuracy, Politeness, Ease, Comfort, and Supporting Attributes on Decisions Using GrabCar. The method used is quantitative with data retrieval techniques through questionnaires to tourists who have used GrabCar to amanzi water park attractions numbering 100 respondents. The data analysis using multiple regression analysis. This study shows that Timeliness, Ease, and Comfort have a significant-positive influence on the Decision Using GrabCar as Tourist Transportation. Meanwhile, Accuracy, Politeness, and Supporting Attributes do not have a significant impact. GrabCar's accuracy, politeness, and supporting attributes need to be improved so as to improve decisions using GrabCar.
