Abstract

AbstractThe expected aim of conducting this research is to determine the application of the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of video in improving student learning outcomes in Class IV Science and Technology subjects at SDN 9 Limboto. The type of research used in this research is the classroom action research approach. Classroom action research is research where the root of the problem arises in the classroom and is known to the teacher. This research was conducted to improve or overcome problems encountered during the learning process. Students in following the learning process using demonstration methods assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos show positive results. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in science and science subjects have increased after going through the demonstration method assisted by audiovisual media in the form of videos which can be seen from the pre-test average score of 57.68 with a learning completion percentage of 37%, test questions in cycle I average score- an average of 64.56 with a learning completeness percentage of 56%, up to the second cycle test questions the average score was 76.68 with a learning completeness percentage of 87%. The application of the Demonstration Method Assisted by Audiovisual Media in the form of Video can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in the science and sciences subject at SDN 9 Limboto. The recommendation that can be taken from this research is to support the implementation of demonstration methods assisted by audiovisual media in the learning context. Keywords: Demonstration Method Assisted; Audiovisual Media in the Form of Video; Improving Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to increase students' interest in learning science subjects on the subject of the Cycle of Living Things through diorama media in grade 4 of SDN 11 Limboto Barat. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles, with each cycle including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 30 grade 4 students of SDN 11 Limboto Barat. Data were collected through observation and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive percentage formulas for teacher activities, student activities, and student learning interests. Significant improvements were seen from the results of each cycle: in cycle I, teacher performance reached 47.5% and student learning interest 73.34%. Then, there was an increase in cycle II, with teacher performance reaching 76.5% and student learning interest 90%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of diorama media is effective in increasing the learning interest of grade 4 students of SDN 11 Limboto Barat in the subject of science on the subject of the Cycle of Living Things.Keywords: Minat Belajar Siswa, Media Diorama, IPAAbstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mapel IPA materi Siklus Makhluk Hidup melalui media diorama di kelas 4 SDN 11 Limboto Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dengan setiap siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas 4 SDN 11 Limboto Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus deskriptif persentase untuk aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan minat belajar siswa. Peningkatan yang signifikan terlihat dari hasil tiap siklus: pada siklus I, kinerja guru mencapai 47,5% dan minat belajar siswa 73,34%. Kemudian, terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II, dengan kinerja guru mencapai 76,5% dan minat belajar siswa 90%. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media diorama efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas 4 SDN 11 Limboto Barat pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Siklus Makhluk Hidup.KataKunci:Student Learning Interest, Diorama Media, Science.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the use of multisensory methods assisted by digital flash card media on the ability to write descriptive essays of fifth-grade students of SD 7 Limboto. The type of research used is quantitative with the One Group Pre-test Post-test Design experimental method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SDN 7 Limboto, totaling 10 people. The results showed that the ability to write descriptive essays of fifth-grade students of SDN 7 Limboto in the initial test (Pretest) was below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of Indonesian Language, namely 75, with an average score of 57.80. This shows that students' initial ability in writing descriptive essays is still classified as low to moderate. After the application of the multisensory method assisted by digital flash card media, the final test score (Posttest) showed a significant increase with an average of 75.40, where 70% of students reached or exceeded the KKM. This increase was accompanied by a more even distribution of scores, which reflects improvements in students' writing skills. Based on the results of the Paired Sample t-Test, the value obtained | thitung | = | -2.850| = 2.850 ttable value = 2.262 and p 0.001 ( 0.05), so H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This proves that the multisensory method assisted by digital flash card media has a significant effect on improving the ability to write descriptive essays for fifth grade students of SDN 7 Limboto.Keywords: Multisensory Method, Assisted by Digital Flash Card Media, Descriptive Essay.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode multisensorik barbantuan media flash card digital terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas V SD 7 Limboto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen OneGroupPre-testPost-test Design. Populasipadapenelitianiniadalahseluruhsiswa kelas V SDN 7 Limboto yang berjumlah 10 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan menulis materi karangan deskripsi siswa kelas V SDN 7 Limboto pada tes awal (Pretest) berada di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) Bahasa Indonesia yaitu 75, dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 57,80. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal siswa dalam menulis karangan deskripsi masih tergolong rendah hingga sedang. Setelah diterapkan metode multisensorik berbantuan media flash card digital, nilai tes akhir (Posttest) menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan rata-rata sebesar 75,40, dimana 70% siswa mencapai atau melampaui KKM. Peningkatan ini disertai dengan sebaran nilai yang lebih merata, yang mencerminkan perbaikan keterampilan menulis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test, diperoleh nilai | thitung | = | -2,850| = 2,850  nilai ttabel = 2,262 dan p 0,001 ( 0,05), sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode multisensorik berbantuan media flash card digital berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis materi karangan deskripsi siswa kelas V SDN 7 Limboto.KataKunci:Metode Multisensorik, Berbantuan Media Flash Card Digital, Karangan Deskripsi
