Abstract

Kinerja kompresor seringkali tidak maksimal akibat kerugian hidrolis yang besar. Aliransekunder merupakan faktor yang paling dominan sebagai penyebab kerugian hidrolis, sehinggadengan mereduksi aliran sekunder dapat meningkatkan kerja dari kompressor aksial. Aliransekunder dapat direduksi dengan menggunakan Forward Facing Step Turbulence (FFST ).Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi stagger dan angle of attack. Dampak dari penambahan FFSTadalah dapat mengurangi kerugian energi yang ditunjukkan oleh pressure loss coefficient. Padastagger 30°, penambahan FFST mampu mereduksi kerugian energi paling maksimal pada angleof attack 8° sebesar 21.7%. Penambahan FFST pada stagger 60° mampu mereduksi kerugianenergi tetapi tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Menurut teori wall stall apabila staggermelebihi 50°, akan berdampak pada penyumbatan aliran yang besar, sehingga tidak memberikanperubahan yang signifikan pada pressure loss coefficient.

Abstract

Publikasi karya ilmiah secara online oleh perguruan tinggi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penyebaran dan akses oleh masyarakat maupun industri kepada hasil penelitian. OAI-PMH 2.0 adalah suatu protokol yang memungkinkan metadata publikasi yang diekspos oleh suatu data provider dapat dipanen secara online oleh service provider tanpa intervensi manusia. Suatu portal publikasi yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas ekspos metadata akan meningkatkan penyebaran dan akses secara luas melalui layanan yang disediakan oleh service provider. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan suatu Repositori Publikasi yang dilengkap dengan fasilitas ekspos metadata berbasis OAI-PMH 2.0 yang berjalan diatas Google App Engine. Google App Engine merupakan layanan PaaS yang disediakan oleh Google. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan SDLC, dan pada tahapan analisa dan perancangan menggunakan OOAD. Aplikasi hasil pengembangan diimplementasi untuk publikasi hasil penelitian dosen-dosen STMIK IBBI yang diberi nama Portal Garuda STMIK IBBI. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dengan OAI-PMH Validator, BASE OAI-PMH Validator, dan berhasil didaftarkannya Portal Garuda STMIK IBBI di OpenArchive.org, OpenDOAR, dan ROAR, serta hasil rating yang mencapai 95% oleh WebArchive, maka diyakini aplikasi telah sesuai dengan standard OAI-PMH 2.0 dan W3C sehingga nantinya membantu institusi perguruan tinggi untuk memenuhi kewajiban publikasi karya ilmiah yang dapat ditelusuri secara online sebagaimana surat Dikti nomor 2050/E.T/2011.

Abstract

Abstract: Forklift is one of the lifting machines that use to lift and move loads which can move loads with a diffirent height without taking a long time than we lift it by people’s strength. The Applications of forklift can be seen at sea port area and loading area in industrial. The design of forklift must be applied to find the hydraulic system and the strenght for the forklift so it will definitely lift the cargo which want to be lifted. Design of forklift consists of design hydraulic system and strength for the forklift.. The design of forklift with 7 tons of capacity will be disscused in this thesis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze Personal Selling, Promotion, Product Availability simultaneously influence the purchase decision of PT Maju Telekomunikasi Batam. Forward Telecommunications Batam. The phenomenon of purchasing decisions at PT Maju Telekomunikasi Batam, shows that purchasing decisions experience sales going up and down. This study uses three independent variables, namely personal selling variables, promotion variables, and product availability variables. The method of data collection techniques used in this study was distributing questionnaires using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, the number of samples used was 169 people. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that partially the personal selling variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, promotion has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, product availability has a positive and significant influence on decisions, and simultaneously personal selling, promotion, and product availability has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. The variables contained in this study had an influence of 56,7% on purchasing decisions. The remaining 43,3% was influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

Tomatoes are horticultural product widely grown in Indonesia and consumed by societies. They contain minerals, vitamins, and bioactive compounds beneficial for health. Unfortunately, tomatoes quickly decline in quality, causing their post-harvest shelf life to be short. One attempt to prevent the wastage of tomatoes is to process them into sauce products. To extend the stability of tomato sauce, food-grade preservatives such as citric acid need to be added. Furthermore, different packaging also affects the stability of tomato sauce. This study used citric acid with varying concentrations of 0.05%, 0.10% and 0.15%. The packaging used included Clear Glass Bottles, Dark Glass Bottles, Clear Plastic Bottles, and Dark Plastic Bottles. The tomato sauce was evaluated by room storage for 30 days to investigate the stability of water content, acidity level, and total microbes. Adding 0.15% citric acid may be considered in preserving tomato sauce with a difference in increasing water content of 1.7%, a difference in decreasing pH of 0.1, and a difference in increasing total microbes of 1.4 cfu/g. Using a dark glass bottle may better protect tomato sauce from quality degradation.
