Abstract

Gereja Kebangkitan Kalam Allah Indonesia (GKKA) is a non-profit organization that has been established since 1984. GKKA located on Highway Tenggilis Mejoyo 87 Surabaya has a need for the technology. The current condition of the church experienced problems in the financial and administrative records.This paper will be made an administration and finacial system to help resolve problems that occur in the GKKA. Administration system will help resolve problems in the recording of church members, employees, and assets of the church. The financial system will help in the financial records at each responsibility center. Financial records on the system using the cash basis method. This system is in the form of a website with the programming language PHP and uses a MySQL database.The results to be obtained from applications that have been made, among others, accounting journals, reports, among others: the balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger, reports surplus / deficit.

Abstract

Puzzle Adventure Game is a game that has the form of games exploring a region or a place in which to complete a story on where the player should be able to complete a variety of challenges that are often shaped puzzles and such.This game is made with a reason to teach a variety of moral values are positive through the game, because a lot of games today do not give you the material into his game. This game also comes with a variety of functions such as save game, load game, resolution settings, sound settings, as well as game-style point-and-click. It is intended to be able to make the players comfortable playing. Once created, these games can be played well without any interruption or bugs, and also can be played in almost all computer that has 2GB RAM and above. Thanks to game development using Unity and various assets in it, making the game becomes easier so that the games can be designed in such a way in a very limited time. The time used to make the game is less than 4 month, though the content of the game is not yet perfect but the game successfully run with perfection without bug.

Abstract

This paper describes method for fall detection, because fall is a serious problem and often resulting to injury, which can endanger the safety of the person. Therefore, falling detection is crucially needed. The device that being used is Kinect, which also could be used to detect people. The detection is using the help of Microsoft Kinect SDK. Kinect can detect a person in front of it and processing it to create a skeleton of the person. The method which being used is to get a set of data on the position of the person. Next, the rate of change in position would be calculated with the available formulae. The data obtained would be selected, in order to distinguish the activities undertaken. When fall is detected, the application can provide the alert.

Abstract

These days traditional thing has been left behind not only by adults but also by children. One of them is folklore. It disappears because its package cannot interest the people. It needs a better package that interests a lot of people, for example game. The game in this thesis took folklore theme that would teach the children about morale values. This game was made based on PC game because electronic device are increasingly in demand and with adventure game-based which is a game genre that a lot of people like including the children.This game was made by Unity3D which is can place the objects that we use easier. Besides, camera setting which is a feature of Unity3D can make the setting of the 2D graphics easier. First of all, the folklores need to be parted into the playable-part and the non-playable-part. In playable-part, the player needs to solve some tasks to play the next folklore. In non-playable-part, the game will show an animation.This folklore game can interests the children to become a better person from the morale value. But, it is hard to implement folklore into adventure game for some folklores. For example Origin of Mahakam River’s Creek that has some complicated detail to express the setting of the story.

Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, the need of entertainment keeps going up. On the other hand activities and businesses among the vast majority of people are increasing. The existence of smartphone helps a lot of people to increase their productivity. Besides the general function of it, smartphone can also be used for gathering information and as an entertainment system.Android and iOS are the top 2 operating system that most people used. Using a game engine called Cocos2d, a game will be made for iOS operating system. Artificial intelligence with Finite State Machine method will be applied to this game on 5 NPCs, since the game is intended for single-player.With SpriteBuilder as an editor for user interface, Objective-C as the programming language and Xcode as IDE. A video game called Galactic Defense has been created by adapting it's concept from a traditional game called "Bentengan" (or Fortress in English) which has been modified to adjust the handheld device. This game has 2 difficulty levels and a save game feature.

Abstract

Real-Time Strategy (RTS) Game is a quite popular video game genre. The uniqueness of RTS Games is that it is a Strategy Game where time will still continue for all the players. This creates situations where the player must determine their strategies in a matter of seconds. To get a good gameplay experience, then we would need enemies for the player. The way we could do that is to create an AI that could take into account the mechanics of the game. This thesis is aimed to broaden our knowledge on how to develop AI for RTS games.The game will be created in Unity Game Engine 5.1.2f1, where the AI that is going to be implemented is the Quantified Judgement Model and the Neural Network backpropagation. The Quantified Judgement Model will act as Abstract Controller, giving orders to his troops much like a general in a war. Neural Network Backpropagation will be used for the Virtual Character, where the AI will act for each of the troops to think on what they should do. Whether they have to fall back, or keep going forward according to the orders given to him.

Abstract

Majapahit empire has so many heritages. Many heritages have different locations. Therefore it could make more difficult to learning about majapahit empire. One way to admire or learn about majapahit empire’s heritages is through  a virtual website.This website will resemble most of majapahit empire’s heritages that located in different location into one location. Artefacts will be create more interesting, where the visitors can view 3 dimension object of some artefacts. This website created using some libraries, Xampp and Notepad++.             The interface that this website use is easily understand, and user friendly. All Functions that provided also help visitors to understand more about majapahit empire.

Abstract

Along with the rapid technology development, the usage of computer input tools is also on the rise. Starting from a keyboard which had specific message for each button, developed into touch screen technology which enables human to interact directly with the screen; now technology in which a mere gesture is enough to input a command to the computer is being developed. Gesture detection can be done by the utilization of several tools. For instance, Kinect is one of the tools which are equipped with depth sensor that is capable to recognize and tracking human joints.The system being made is consisted of skeletal tracking process toward user and motion detection. Skeletal tracking process had been provided by kinect sdk. That skeletal tracking is utilized to detect user's hand position. User's hand detection is used to detect the gesture that is done by the user. The making of this application  is done by Microsoft Visual Studio C# WPF 2010 and Kinect Software Development Kit.Therefore, this thesis is aimed to make an application which is capable in gesture and hand position detection on certain areas. This application utilized Kinect as the media for command input. The process starts from the checking of position movement, which will be identified as swipe gesture later on. In addition, hand position detection in specific areas is also being utilized, in order to determine how wide those areas is able to be touched by hand, when the user's position is exactly in the centre of Kinect's sensor

Abstract

Sunday school is a place for children to learn and teachers to teach in the church. Church through Sunday school convey God's Word to toddler, kindergarten and grade 1 to grade 6 elementary school. Today, secular education has uses multimedia, but there are some Sunday school that has not been able to use multimedia and having difficulty finding multimedia that can be easily operated.Therefore, a multimedia application that can be easily operated by a computer was created. Game Cerita Alkitab untuk Sekolah Minggu is an application that is useful to convey the Bible story and invites users to play with illustrations in the form of images, sounds, text, and video.Application contains the story of creation, Noah and the Flood, the Tower of Babel, and Jonah from the Bible, as well as the 9 mini games. The result is an application that can be used by the sunday school, both the sunday school teacher to deliver the Word of God and the sunday school children to play.

Abstract

Social media is an alternative media in the exchange of information both for students of Petra Christian University in improving student learning outcomes. In general, Petra Christian University student using a lentera to get information about the lecture. Lentera so far has not provided facilities that can be used students to get information about the organization and information about the campus. Thus, student’s use other social media applications, such as BBM, Line, and others as a media of exchanging information alternative about information around the campus.Through this research, made a social media application for students of Petra Christian Universistas that can facilitate students in get and exchange the information such as: lecture information, organizational information, and information about the campus. Making an application equipped with the post, group and chat to facilitate students in exchanging information quickly. Chat features and features created using WebSocket posts created using AJAX.Results obtained from a social media application is made is a student can easily obtain information on campus, such as: information on the lectures, information about the organization and information about the campus. The time it takes students to exchange information by using the chat feature becomes shorter, because it supports real-time communication.
