Abstract

UD. X, a car batteries trading business in Surabaya, is using manual accounting system. This old applied system can’t provide any accurate financial report for owner. Furthermore, it has caused many human errors, inaccurate calculation, and irrelevant data service. As a solution, the company needs a computer based accounting system. The first step in creating a good accounting information system is to analyze and observe company working system. This new accounting information system needs to build an integrated modules of sales, purchases, and accounting. The new information system was build using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server as database. The result obtained from the system are master recording, purchase and sale transaction recording,  stock report, purchase report, sales report, general ledger, and financial statement such as income statement and balance sheet.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a new information media that is being developed nowadays. ARis a technology that combines 2D or 3D virtual objects  in a real environment around us. AR can be used as animal learning media that can attract children attention. AR can  bring interactive learning efficient. Because children not only learn in theory only, but children are also available to see animal objects in 3D. Animal learning application will be made in thie thesis.This application is created using Vuforia library and Unity Engine, using the programming language C #. Application can display animals 3D objects and display information in English and Indonesian. Animals in this application are wolf, fox, elephant, lion, zebra, rhino.  The test result shown that the Vuforia library and Unity Engine can give good output animation and good information, where each marker that has been determined, can be recognized well. The test results also showed that the child's interest to applications is quite high, as much as 80% of the kids liked the design of applications, 70% of children do not experience problems in using the application, and 80% of children will use the application again.

Abstract

X Company provides various kinds of electronic things and home appliances, to fulfill all sales transactions on every branches store then it is necessary to have many kinds of assets likes vehicles for delivery services, storefronts for items display and many other needs. And of course every assets need some specific types of maintenances. For now, every process of scheduling maintenances, registering maintenances and recording maintenances realization are done by written manual on paper or by direct spoke to each other’s. The current applied process will have some consequences such as forgetting some assets maintenance and difficulties in creating reports because the data is written on the paper. So it is needed to have a system that records all the broken assets reports, maintenance schedules and maintenance realization properly.To resolve this issue, a system based on Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) with some adaption to the current process of the company that obtained from the direct interview will be created. The system will be made based on web based system using a programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Codeigniter Framework based on PHP, JavaScript, Ajax and using SQL Server as database.The conclusion after finished to develop the system are the scheduling process is have worked correctly but with some exclusion that allow to work overtime with PIC Aset approval and the spare part stock forecast also worked correctly for fulfill the spare parts requests but will not worked to fulfill abnormal requests.

Abstract

Rapidly increasing techonological development, especially in smartphone. In this time smartphone is a very popular device in all kinds of people from the young to the old. The same thing happened in education, especially in the study of foreign language. This thesis aims to combine the methods of learning foreign language with technology that can be reached by any ages and imporove the method of learning foreign language especially Japanese.This application is focused to leard the basic of Japanese language, which is Hiragana and Katakana. This application created for Android operating system by utilizing swipe feature that has been filtered to detect user input for the correct writing. Beside that, this application has games that can test and evaluate the ability of user.Based on testing of this application that can be concluded this application can run smoothly on Android JellyBean system until Lollipop.

Abstract

At this time, the Car Salon XYZ still record sales, purchase transactions, stock movement, and financial report manually. The Car Salon XYZ still not using structured information systems. Owner often have difficulties of monitoring the amount of stock for each items. Recording process that still done manually often causes some errors that may disturb the business processes in car salon and waste a lot of time. Based on background of that problem on this Car Salon XYZ, we designed a system that can process the operational data transactions, making of stock card and inventory control, and making the complete financial reports. Application made by web-based program using Framework CodeIgniter, PHP as programming tool and MySQl as database of the program. Record of accounting using perpetual method and card stock using FIFO (First In First Out).Results that obtained from the application that have been made, are able to record the transaction of sales and purchases, inventory control that can set a reminder of the stock availability, accounting journal and report of financial statements that required.

Abstract

Currently, the information system that was recently implemented in IV shop worked well in the long term for administration purpose. Meanwhile, IV shop still lacks any supporting application for their front-end sales department, which has direct contact with customer in daily basis.The fact that IV shop sells various car-related products with various brands troubles their salespeople because they have to learn and understand each product’s uniqueness. In addition, occasionally, there are communication problems between manager and salespeople. The salespeople may not fully understand the current promotion in IV shop. Furthermore, there were some occasions that they forgot their assigned tasks.In order to solve the current condition, an android application were developed. This Android application was created by using Ionic Framework, AngularJS, Google Firebase database, Amazon RDS database, and SQLite database. This application has 7 major functions, which are: Account Management, Incentive Management, Company Timeline, Leads Management, Opportunity Management and Company Statistics. There are some additional functions to support the front-end salespeople and manager, such as: user tracking, private-chatting, group-chatting, and real-time information for data-driven decision.The final result of this application development lets users get a better insight about products and know the recent important information faster and more effective. This application also works well with the existing system.

Abstract

Encyclopedia of the archipelago culture is a collection of information throughout the culture that existed in Indonesia before the independence of Indonesia in 1945. Culture is formed because of social circumstances in the community. The community performs daily habits and the habit is passed on from generation to generation so that it becomes a tradition. Archipelago has a variety of clothes, dance, house, song, and language. Each province has one culture that became the province's mascot, for example East Java has a joglo house. In this web based program contains cultural information that is easy to find. The end result of this cultural web program is to help people who want to know the culture of Indonesia and promote Indonesian culture in the virtual universe.

Abstract

Website-based application that will be created is an optimization application to determine the warehouse leasing location that can help company to find out where the warehouse location is the most optimal with a variety of predetermined parameters. Calculation process to generate the recommendations is using runner-root algorithm. Runner-root algorithm is a numerical optimization algorithm inspired by the strawberry plant for solving continuous multi-variable problems. Stages of analysis and design of record data and company needs are needed to produce good information. Information generated by the application is expected to support the decision-making process by the company.The final result of the development is an optimization application for determining the warehouse leasing location. The developed application has conclusion that applications are more needed in cities that have a large number of customers and alternatives of warehouses. The number of iterations also determine the optimization of the fitness value results.

Abstract

SMAK Santa Maria is one private school in Malang which has an important role in the development of education for upper secondary school level, especially in Malang City. Every day, the school's administrative process such as the process of presence of students, student assessment, scheduling, and other learning processes. It is inevitable that in any process that there be no mistake on the part of teachers and students. Therefore the school need an application to support the administrative process.Applications designed according to the needs and all the processes that exist in the schools ranging from presence, grading, announcement, until the value of report cards of students. With this application, it is expected the information to be received by the students, teachers, principals and vice-principals have the truth and accuracy.In overall, program has features that will help the problems now the level of user satisfaction in this program has reached 80%, which indicates that the program is able to meet the needs of users in the school and is able to assist the school in the administrative process so that the program is ready to be implemented.

Abstract

CV. Grande Zangrandi merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT. Zangrandi yang bergerak dibidang makanan yaitu es krim. Saat ini semua proses yang ada pada perusahaan belum memiliki sistem informasi yang terintegrasi. Perusahaan hanya menggunakan program untuk Point of Sales (POS) untuk penjualan, sementara proses lainnya masih dilakukan secara manual. Langkah pertama yaitu melakukan analisa proses bisnis dan strategi pada perusahaan saat ini. Selanjutnya melihat teknologi yang ada pada perusahaan, permasalahan yang dialami saat ini, beserta dengan kebutuhan perusahaan untuk saat ini dan masa depan. Berdasarkan informasi-informasi tersebut akan dibuat desain arsitektur data, desain arsitektur aplikasi, dan desain arsitektur teknologi.
