Abstract

In several social media applications such as Facebook and Instagram, a traveler who is traveling (both local and international) is often found offering services to purchase goods for a certain fee. This has even become a permanent source of income for some of them. However, this has several problems, both from the buyers and the traveler's side. From the buyer's side, it would be very risky because they have to transfer money first. From the traveler's point of view, social media is not a place only to look for entrusted services so that their chances of getting buyers will not be maximized. From the existing problems, an Android-based application was made to collect these travelers so that prospective buyers know where to go when looking for a entrusted service. Similar applications used for comparison include the UShopper application[1], the X application[3], the Y application[2], Bistipand Airfrov. In the application above, no one applies the fair review feature and only the Bistip application has a chat feature between users before carrying out the transaction process.The application created solves the mentioned issues by applying a fair review system so that there are no biased reviews and has a chat feature so that users can communicate with each other without having to use other applications.Based on the results of tests that have been carried out through a questionnaire with 8 respondents who have played a role as a buyer in a entrusted service, the application that was made received an average score of 4,625 out of 5. The application is considered to be able to help prospective buyers find the right traveler according to their wishes with the help of features filtering. This feature can filter travelers that buyers are looking for with parameters: maximum return date and types of items that can be brought on a trip.

Abstract

Bible is an important bilingual or monolingual text, making it a resource for training such as translation, named entity analysis, and transliteration. Named entity is a realworld object such as people, location, organization, product, et cetera, that can be symbolized with an exact name. The objective of the experiment is to help people learning the bible in understanding important names in the bible either in Indonesian or other local language in Indonesia. This can also help missionaries doing evangelism to quickly understand named entity in the local language of the place they are in. In this process, they may be a gap exists between the named entity in Indonesian and the local language.To solve this issue, designed an application that integrate Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm that wrapped inside efmaral tool with statistical method wrapped inside giza++ tool, and IBM Model 2 reparameterization wrapped inside fast align tool. From the product of all the tools, which is correlation between every word in Indonesian with the word in the local language, the result will be decided by finding the right consensus to find the correct named entity in the local language. The named entity will be chosen based on the strong numbering from the original language.Based on the result of the experiment, integration of efmaral, giza++, and fast align tools yields better accuracy than efmaral tool alone. Efmaral tool has the accuracy around 0,07 to 0,66. Giza++ tool has the accuracy around 0,47 to 0,90. The integrated tools (efmaral, giza++, and fast align) has the accuracy around 0,36 to 0,87.

Abstract

Pharmacy X is a drug store that sells variety of drugs that have several pharmacy branches and one central pharmacy. However, each branch and center of the pharmacy have their own administration and server, which cause the central pharmacy is difficulty controlling. In addition, an increase and decrease in drug demand causes Pharmacy X difficulties in determining the right time to buy drugs. With this problem, we need a system that can predict sales for each drug in the future and a centralized system so that the central pharmacy can control the branch pharmacy. To predict the sales, one of the prediction methods is Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). ARIMA is a method of predicting using time series data from the previous period to predict future periods. For making a centralized information system using Slim Framework with PHP version 7 and using a MySQL database. The display of the system uses the HTML programming language, CSS, and Bootstrap. The results testing of the ARIMA method performed for each drug using R-Squared obtained 1.87% good accuracy, 35.06% medium accuracy, and 63.07% poor accuracy. Good accuracy is 1-0.5, accuracy is 0.5-0, and bad accuracy <0. For information systems the results are in accordance with the needs of the problem controlling the central pharmacy to the branch pharmacy. The synchronization feature makes it easy for central pharmacies to monitor sales and stock of goods at branch pharmacies.

Abstract

The abdi (kejawen followers) still use the Javanese calendar and the moon phase for their daily needs, usually the servants use them to find a good day to perform rituals or meditation and events. The Javanese calendar is one type of lunar calendar (moon) where the calendar is based on the position of the moon. The moon is illuminated at night, and the illumination produced by the moon is different every day because the moon's illumination depends on the phase of the moon. The moon has complex parameters, namely in addition to the phase there is also the distance, and position to the Sun, and the Earth. Abdi did not understand about good ritual days, before that the servants waited for orders from the king to carry out rituals. Therefore, we need an application for moon information in the form of moon phase, moonlight, moon position along with the Javanese calendar with the Android platform. The proposed application also has features that can help abdi to perform rituals on the appropriate day. The application is also designed in a simple way so that the application is easy for abdi to understand. To obtain lunar information, an astronomical calculation system is used, where for the initial data obtained from astronomical calculations in 1990 for moon and sun data. The results of the application have been tested with moon information with test data, with the result that the difference from moonlight is 0.2%. The results of the application have been surveyed to determine the level of user satisfaction. Abdi will be helped by the application features provided.

Abstract

Increasingly advanced technological developments have caused many demands on the client-server to carry out their duties. Existing server capabilities of access that comes from the client. The ability of the server to exceed the limit will experience overload so that many of the adverse effects that will be caused include a decrease in the speed of access even causing a server down.This study tries to propose a solution by providing an additional access point on the server that is using containerization technology on Kubernetes. Where the container is the access point for the client to the server. This containerazitation technology is implemented by utilizing scalability. Scalability in the container will adjust to the needs of the client and server.With container technology, access to the server can be done by adding a container for the access point if it is felt full and will resuce the container if the number of accessing clinets decreases. This will minimize the server overload so that the client can access the server without difficulty due to the lack of access points.

Abstract

In scraping a website, the main concern is the type of website whether it is a static or dynamic website, and also the data structure of the website. With different website characteristics and diverse web scraping tools, it will make users quite difficult in choosing tools that suit their needs. The purpose of this research is to compare web scraping tools from different website characteristics, and to provide recommendations for web scraping tools for future research by knowing the right tools in handling each website's characteristics. Based on the results of tests that have been done, it can be concluded which tools are more effective and efficient in certain conditions.

Abstract

Children with autism who lack verbal communication skills often confuse their parents for knowing what their wants are conveniently. It takes extra effort for their parents to understand them, especially with their unclear pronunciations. Their inability to conveniently understand what is kept in their minds may affect their emotions. The children easily experience mood swings, and their parents struggle to identify their children’s needs. All of these struggles can be supported with the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) with Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) module. With PECS, children with autism will be able to learn how to converse their needs through image media. Therefore, their parents can easily understand what they want to say. With all the problems, this research presents an AAC mobile application with PECS module called “BerKata”. The result of this research is that “BerKata” may develop children with autism’s speech ability, to decrease their anxiousness and help gaining their confidence, if only their parents consistently use it. Keep in mind to achieve the goal, requires consistency of habituation from children, parents and the people around and not an instant result.

Abstract

Travel sites in Indonesia offer varied flight ticket prices. So, to find a cheap price becomes difficult, consumers must open every site or application from a travel site to compare the ticket price each site offered. This takes a lot of time, and sometime when you find the right price and want to order it, the ticket sold out. Therefore, an application is needed to search and compare prices from each travel sites. Application was made to do the comparison of price that each travel sites offered. To do a comparison, a server is needed to retrieve each price and details of flights on each travel site. After that, the process continue to processing all data and displayed it to the application.Based on the result of test that been done on program, program managed to collecting, processing, and showing price as well as flight information from travel sites.

Abstract

Trivago is a global online application that provides service in searching for accomodations based on the user’s destination, and other specific filters such as price range, ratings, and available features. As an accommodation searching app, one of the major challenges that Trivago faces is providing a list of hotels that match the user’s preference, in order to increase the rate at which the user engages in a transaction. Trivago uses a recommender system that can deduce a user’s preference in a session, and displays a number of hotels that are considered suitable for that user. In an attempt to improve the quality of their system, Trivago works together with researchers from TU Wien, Politecnico di Milano, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, to conduct RecSys Challenge 2019 as an annual science competition under ACM Recommender Systems Conference.This paper is going to be focused on the use of graph-based models in creating a recommender system using Trivago’s dataset provided in RecSys Challenge 2019. Graph-based models have been proven to be fairly effective in dealing with time series data, as shown in a research that studied online shoppers’ behavior using graphs [3]. Baumann’s research has shown an increase in accuracy by 5 – 10% when using graph features in predicting whether an online shopper would purchase a product as compared to using traditional features.The graph-based model used in this research would be Markov Chain, a probabilistic graphical model. This research would test several Markov Chain models with varying length, depth, and order, measuring each model with a metric called Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR) as per mentioned in the challenge. At the end of the research, it is concluded that the model that yields the highest MRR uses Markov Chain with length = 1, depth = 0, and order = 1.

Abstract

One of many important factor in producing a good quality game is the existence of a good quality Background Game Music (BGM). But the difficulty of getting game music assets makes game developers have to pay extra money, waste more time and effort to get a good quality game music. This can hinder the process of making a game. For that reason, if there is a program that is able to produce BGM with good quality, it will greatly help the work of the game developer.The method used in this study is the Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network (DCGAN). The data that being used is Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) file format which will then be converted into a pianoroll format. The pianoroll will then be converted into a matrix and entered into the DCGAN model. Before conducting training process, it is necessary to make a preprocessing, postprocessing and a model DCGAN. Testing in this study is done by finding the best parameters and architecture of DCGAN to produce Background Game Music with good quality.The test results show that DCGAN is a very sensitive model in terms of architecture and hyperparameter, therefore it needs extra attention in tuning architecture and hyperparameter for DCGAN. Besides that, music that is converted into pianoroll format lacks the ability to highlight its features and making it difficult to learn by DCGAN. From the end results, DCGAN is able to produce Background Game Music but with poor quality.
