Abstract

The Bible as the most popular and influential book, most printed and translated in various languages in the world. There are about 2,527 translations of parts of the biblical text, and 475 translations of the full text of the Bible. The purpose of all this is so that many people in the world can read the Bible in understandable languages. In this translation process, there is a possibility that there is a gap between the original language of the Bible and the language of translation. To answer this problem, an application is designed that applies the Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm and is packaged in efmaral tools to correlate the original language of the Bible with other languages known as the Interlinear Bible. The Intelinear Bible (ITL) is a means to see the meaning of words or phrases in the original text of the Bible. With the Interlinear Bible, the gap between the original language of the Bible and the translation language can be overcome. Interlinear bible is one application of word alignment which has a function to identify the relationship between words in parallel text in two different languages. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the addition of the first word randomly at the beginning of each verse can increase the recall results, precision and f-measure of the algorithm both the correlation between Javanese and Hebrew, as well as the correlation between Javanese and Greek. In addition, the more number of words correlated, can increasing recall, precision and f-measure value.

Abstract

Academic records of student candidates and students of Petra Christian University (PCU) which have been stored so far have not been used to generate information. PCU’s Top-level management needs a way to generate information from the records. The generated information is expected to support the decision-making process of Top-level management.Before starting the application development, analysis and design of the student academic records and the needs of Top-level management are done. The design stage produces a number of modeling that will be used to create the application.The final result of the development is an Academic Decision Support System application for PCU. The developed application includes Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), customizable graphs, and user maintenance features.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju memudahkan manusia mencari informasi yang diinginkan. Inovasi di dalam bidang aplikasi peta dan rute perjalanan masih sangat dibutuhkan. Minimnya detail informasi yang diberikan pada peta dan rute perjalanan membuat pengguna menjadi tidak mengetahui keadaan lalu lintas yang sedang terjadi di sekitarnya.Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dibuat suatu aplikasi mobile berbasis Android. Pada aplikasi ini diberikan infomasi tentang lalu lintas secara detail. Informasi yang di dapat berasal dari berita web yang disinkronkan dengan aplikasi sehingga setiap ada update dari web tersebut, informasi itu akan tampil di aplikasi. Terdapat fitur-fitur lain diantaranya adalah search, show rute, favorite dan daftar favorit dimana akan membantu pengguna untuk mencari rute perjalanan yang ingin di tuju. Selain itu terdapat fitur place autocomplete yang berguna untuk membantu pengguna dalam menemukan tujuan yang dicari.

Abstract

In modern times, humans have been helped by many technological developments. One such field is the goods delivery field, called the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). Vehicle Routing Problem is a matter of where there is a freight fleet that has to deliver a certain amount of goods to various customers. The solution sought is the shortest route the fleet can take.,Hybrid Ant Colony Optimization (HACO)is an algorithm that is inspired from the foraging behaviour of ant species, that is one of the result of  development for Ant Colony Optimization. HACO has been published by Q. Ding et. al in 2012 to solve Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows. However, in that published journal, there were vagueness in some points like process time and memory usage. Therefore in this journal there is a need to review the performance of HACO to solve VRPTW, which will be done using unity. In this thesis is also discussed some development of HACO which are expected to fix and improve the result of HACO.

Abstract

The Speech Recognition System has achieved WER (Word Error Rate) up to 11.85% in English Words. Big data in speech can helps machine learning to become popular because it can maintain a good generalization to boost machine learning in speech recognition. This paper inspired by Baidu (Deep Speech), we will implement its architecture to achieve the same goal in Indonesian Words. For this research, we use many variations of datasets according to its source such as clean environment voice, noise environment voice, and speech synthesizer from Apple and Bing. The main problem is many variations of datasets influence the results of WER according to its size. Bigger variations of datasets maintain good generalization for the machine learning, but also it has big ambiguity in language model.

Abstract

Along with the rapid technology development, the usage of computer input tools is also on the rise. Starting from a keyboard which had specific message for each button, developed into touch screen technology which enables human to interact directly with the screen; now technology in which a mere gesture is enough to input a command to the computer is being developed. Gesture detection can be done by the utilization of several tools. For instance, Kinect is one of the tools which are equipped with depth sensor that is capable to recognize and tracking human joints.The system being made is consisted of skeletal tracking process toward user and motion detection. Skeletal tracking process had been provided by kinect sdk. That skeletal tracking is utilized to detect user's hand position. User's hand detection is used to detect the gesture that is done by the user. The making of this application  is done by Microsoft Visual Studio C# WPF 2010 and Kinect Software Development Kit.Therefore, this thesis is aimed to make an application which is capable in gesture and hand position detection on certain areas. This application utilized Kinect as the media for command input. The process starts from the checking of position movement, which will be identified as swipe gesture later on. In addition, hand position detection in specific areas is also being utilized, in order to determine how wide those areas is able to be touched by hand, when the user's position is exactly in the centre of Kinect's sensor

Abstract

Indonesian has now become more popular internationally, for example, Vietnam used Indonesian Bahasa as their second language. There are several ways to helping people to learn Indonesian Bahasa, one of them is by creating a tool that allows them to determine whether the language the are currently learning is true or not. This thesis discusses the application of Indonesian editor with spell checker and diction recommendation features in IndonesianThe process is carried out as follows: users opens a file or typing in the editor, words input will be checked with Apache Lucene, and Lucene will crawling to all of the data and give the recommendation base on the weight (Leveinsthein Algorithm) and if a user opens a file, the application will perform spell checking using Nazief and Adriani algoritm. The result of this process is the result of input that is underlined words that is not in accordance with Indonesian, or suitable recommendation result by Apache Lucene. Input could be words or .doc file. As Output will be written in .doc file and the spell checking results and words recommendation will be shown in editor as the user types. This application is built using Java programming language and Android Studio as the IDE.The test result shows that the accuracy of the Nazief and Adriani Algorthms still need to be improved, word length and word complexity also affects the time in the checking process, for example: to check documents with 100 words, there are various of time from 1.48 minutes to 3.3 minutes. Besides that, this algoritm can not check the word which had 2 syllables, like “pertanggungjawaban” because of the stemming process.

Abstract

Indonesia is country with rich culture. Since October 2nd 2009 batik has been officially recognized by UNESCO as Indonesia’s authentic cultural heritage. In addition to its unique patterns, batik has a deep philosophical significance. However there is no application that can introduce many kinds of batik to the society. This application is expected to address that issue.This application uses gray-level cooccurrence matrix to extract texture features from an image of batik. The texture features extracted from a number of batik images create a dataset which can be used to create a decision tree. The decision made by the decision tree is the isen presented in batik image.Test results of batik tulis recognition is maximum accuracy of 47.62%, which is considered low. The reason for that is supposedly the lack of texture patterns in batik tulis.

Abstract

Company X is an electronics retailer company operated in Surabaya city. The company is trying to improve their customer satisfaction by doing some evaluations and enhancement on their existing business processes. One of them is the process of goods delivery services. Some shortcomings occur in the process. For example, it is difficult to determine the order of the delivery routes, especially if there are some customers who have preference delivery hours. Another thing, the company cannot provide any information about the time estimation of the goods arrival that makes their customer feel bad about the delivery services. Because of these problems, the company needs a system that is capable of providing the route sequence recommendation and also giving information about estimation of goods arrival.The system is implemented on website by using codeigniter framework and SQL Server as the database. In this system, the first process is matching the addresses with the response from Google Maps API. This Google Maps API responses are being used in the next process which is calculating route. In order to perform the calculations, Google Maps API has already provided a free of charge service that is capable of giving the best waypoint through the maximum of 8 points addresses. However, the amount of the addresses in one shipment is usually more than 8 addresses. Therefore a method of clustering using K-Means is needed in order to make a group of delivery area into 8 clusters. By then, the route calculation can be done by using the clusters.The end result of this program is a shipping information system for administrators and drivers of the company. This system is able to provide recommendations for the selection of goods delivery routes and information on the estimated time of goods delivery. Based on some testings, the system can perform route calculations with an average time calculation of 133 seconds for 30 destination routes.

Property or house is one thing that will not be endless in the market of buying and selling. Often buyers come to a property exhibition to find the house they want. Today, there are so many ways that sellers do / provide to attract buyers. One of them is providing a mock-up.A mock-upt is an artificial form of a house to be formed using a certain scale and is usually made of wood, styrofoam, paper, clay, and other media.However, the mock-up itself has a drawback that is not can not be visualized or imagined on a scale of 1: 1. The technology that developed in the present time allows to eliminate the deficiency by realizing the maket innovation in the form of visual so that the satisfaction and purpose of a model more obtained.
