Abstract

Along with the development of technology today, the communication media is switching from conventional media to new media. Although in the transition to new media, users still miss some of the information that has been given in the form of a handbook containing important information, and still questioning to others to obtain information. To overcome this, Cubeacon technology is used to help maximize the dissemination of information by sending information to the user when the user approaches or is around the beacon coverage by utilizing the Bluetooth signal emitted by the beaconCubeacon is a device that communicates with smartphone using Bluetooth signals. With Bluetooth Low Energy based wireless technology that sends bluetooth signals continuously containing minor and major values from Cubeacon, the smartphone will provide information based on what stored in the database.The test results indicate that the beacon placement can affect the quality of the emitted signal. This application can be used by users to find information from beacons within the reach of a smartphone.

Abstract

Pelangi Shop is a shop that sells photography products, photo shooting service provider as well as a supplier of photo and banner printing services. Pelangi shop is located in a strategic place, which is at the center and middle of Ambon city. However, Pelangi Shop's business operational system is still done manually, so there can be several problems such as lack of control over the incoming and outgoing stock of the goods.Seeing the problems and conditions of the Pelangi Shop above,  Pelangi Shop needs an administrative system application to assist the business operations. In addition, this administration system application makes it easier for stores to marketing the products and make it easier for stores to manage incoming orders. And also can facilitate the store to confirm orders for customers.The results obtained from this application include recording the master of goods, recording in and out transactions of goods and stock cards with the average calculation method, recording incoming orders and managing customer order status and checking proof of transfer payment from customers, as well as reports such as reports on purchased goods and sales of goods.

Abstract

With the development of technology today, games are one of the activities that are popular for many people. Starting from children and even adults are also playing videogames. strategy game is the one of them. Of the many real-time strategy games available, there are still many real-time strategy games today that are too complex and difficult for players to understand. In this thesis, a real-time strategy game will be made that is easy to understand and play but does not eliminate the strategy element in the game.In order for this game to be even more interesting, Artificial Intelligence (AI) finite state machine (FSM) was added to this game to regulate the opponent's movements in order to make the game lively. In this game, there are features i.e. save/load to save and load data and sound settings to adjust the sound. The result from 5 respondents that give rating : 76% game control, 68% game graphic, 80% game sound , 80% gameplay dan 80% tutorial clearance.

Abstract

On March 2, 2020, President Joko Widodo's announcement regarding the COVID-19 virus has made its way to all of Indonesia, serving as a warning to the people. The virus continues to grow and spread its influence across cities, one of which is Surabaya. Surabaya attained the 'crimson zone' status on 2nd of June, 2020 due to the drastic increase of positive COVID-19 cases which tallies to 2748 people. The rapid pace at which COVID-19 spreads results in a high death rate.This research was done to try and prevent high casualty rates by predicting the need for health equipment, isolation rooms, medical personnel, and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for COVID-19 patients. There were two methods used for the sake of predicting, namely the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Susceptible Infectious Recovered Decease (SIRD) methods. The methods in question will have their accuracies tested using error measurement methods which include the Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). After measurements have been made, the prediction results from these 2 methods will be utilized to calculate the needs for equipment, isolation rooms, medical personnel, and PPE needs based on the regulatory patterns owned by the S, N, and X hospitals. Based on the results of the website implementation analysis, the ANN method is shown to have average error rates of 53.1733 for training and 89.73 for testing based on the MAD method, 6581.09 for training and 22953.9067 for testing based on the MSE method, and 17.7367% for training and 16.3067% for testing based on the MAPE method. The SIRD method is shown to have average error rates of 309.81, 150496.08, and 30.2% for the MAD, MSE, and MAPE methods respectively.

Abstract

PT. Industri Kreatif Digital is a service company providing services for cloud hosting, VPS, and website creation. Right now, data processing for human resources still has a lot of weaknesses. One of these weaknesses is that the company still does manual work to register, payroll, collect absence, and recruitment of workers that can cause inaccuracies in processing information. PT. IKADA needs a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) that can provide simultaneous and easy processing of workers data to produce accurate and quick results. HRIS is equipped with a Decision Support System that can give out recommendations for prospective workers, promotions, and Mikrotik training for workers.In this thesis an HRIS has been designed and equipped with a few modules including personalia, recruitment, payroll, absence, evaluation, and reporting module. The Decision Support System itself uses the PIPRECIA method in calculating the weight of each criterion and uses the EDAS method in the ranking process. The system created was website-based that uses PHP framework Laravel, Javascript, HTML, and MySQL database.The result of this research is a system that can help HRD in processing workers data such as data about workers leave and overtime, recruitment, payroll, absence, workers evaluation, and reporting. On the other hand, the Decision Support System was able to provide recommendations for prospective workers, promotions, and Mikrotik training for workers based on its calculations.

Abstract

Pet hotel is a pet care service where pet owners can leave their pets for several days. In Surabaya, finding an ideal place for pets is quite a difficult task. Because not everyone is willing and able to accept and take care a pet. In addition, there’re also many pet shops in Surabaya that don’t provide pet hotel service, so finding a pet hotel in surabaya is a real challenge. Another thing that also makes it difficult to find a pet hotel is the lack of information about pet shops that have pet hotel services. Most of the pet shops in Surabaya still rely on brochures and word-of-mouth method to spread information about their businesses. This of course will make it difficult for pet owners to find a pet hotel. In this thesis an Android based application for searching pet hotel will be craeted by implementing Simple Additive Weighting Method in the application system. The implentation of SAW method is aimed to find the best alternative based on the criteria determined by survey. The criteria used included number of staff, the capacity of animal that can be accomodated, the type of location, number of facilites, facility price, and animal price. The searching process is done with the user giving weight for each criteria then SAW will determine which pet hotel has the highest priority, namely the pet hotel that best suits the user’s preference.The final result of this thesis is an application that can help pet owners find pet hotels in Surabaya with preferences that best suit the user’s wishes based on the Simple Additive Weighting method. The result of the Simple Additve Weighting testing conducted show that the SAW calculations performed in the applcation have been able to provide the same result as the calculations done manually.

Abstract

Petra Christian University has various services for general information about university majors and student admissions, such as social media and WhatsApp. However, these services still limited by number and working time of operators as human. Therefore, with this chatbot, information about PCU can be found anytime. Chatbot Study by S. C. P & Afrianto needs method to match chatbot question with the dataset. This thesis uses two methods, namely kNN (k-Nearest Neighbor) and HMM (Hidden Markov Model) to solve these problem. In this chatbot, it will try to combine and compare these two methods, and see if it can produces answers that can be understood and in accordance with various difficulty questions given. The kNN is used as a classification for questions given to chatbot which approximately match with questions on the chatbot’s knowledge base. HMM is used to assemble answer words from the selected knowledge base. Chatbot’s answers will be tested in terms of validity of the answers by two respondents (Public Relation and Admission staff) also the length of time it takes to produce answers. The results of the chatbot with kNN has an accuracy of 64.44% (45 questions), with average system runtime of 0.08 seconds. While the results of chatbot with kNN-HMM produces random and irregular answers, with average system runtime of 0.12 seconds, cause by HMM which is a probability based method.

Abstract

Currently, the process of working on a project or group assignment from the teacher will often experience a lack of control over the process.  The whole of a group work is only seen from the results and accuracy in the collection.  In fact, in addition to results and timeliness, teachers also need to know the process of each individual to understand their level of ability.Looking at the background of the problem, an application is designed that improves individual performance control in project work or group assignments.  This application will use a special framework to solve control problems, and can manage project work management to make it better.  Applications will be created using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database. The results obtained from this application include the creation of a working website with a framework for project control to regulate existing work processes.

Abstract

PT X is a truck rental service company in Surabaya. The purpose of making a website based administrative information system so that the owner can check and make real-time rental booking transactions, and can generate reports on orders, purchases, inventory, truck repair history are needed for the owner PT. X in making business decisions.Based on the results of this thesis research, it can be concluded that overall this program has fulfilled the needs of PT. X mainly on the function of calculating the cost of orders, updating the price of spare parts on the stock card when purchasing parts, calculating the cost of repairing trucks based on the total price of spare parts used, notifications of repair of periodic oil changes based on kilometers exceeding the next period kilometers.

Abstract

With the development of open-source technology such as Android, it helps new learning media, namely games. Games can be used to introduce something that rarely know such like edible mushrooms. Therefore, so it’s expected that this game can introduce edible  mushrooms.The game application that will be made in the RPG genre runs on the Android operating system with the Java programming language. With the main theme based on edible mushroom,  which all characters in the game are related to edible mushrooms from characters to NPC enemiesThe results of the development of this game show that the game is not only an entertainment media but also can be a medium of learning to get to know something new.
