Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memudahkan pemilik hewan peliharaan khususnya anjing untuk memberi makan hewan peliharaannya walaupun berada di tempat yang berbeda. Hal inilah yang memicu adanya pembuatan aplikasi mobile berbasis android untuk mengontrol alat makan tersebut yang telah dilengkapi oleh arduino beserta komponennya agar dapat melakukan automatisasi pemberian makanan. Pemakaian aplikasinya sederhana, cukup memasukkan hari, waktu, dan porsi yang diinginkan dalam menu di aplikasi dan pencet tombol simpan, maka data akan tersimpan di database dan akan dibaca oleh arduino. Ketika waktu arduino sama dengan waktu tersimpan di database, maka makanan akan otomatis keluar. Tetapi makanan yang keluar terkadang tidak sesuai dengan porsi yang kita inputkan karena adanya factor tertentu yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many smart home that already developed and sold. Because of smart home with all of the facilities gave a comfortable feeling for householders. In this thesis an aplication is made to make use of GPS as positioning for hardware and user. Besides GPS, arduino also useful for controling hardware. This application will run on Android device. Application will show user’s and hardware’s position all the time. Application can also make alarm for AC to turn on or off and application also can make radius that will help as geofence.

Abstract

Indoor Positioning System (IPS) is an alternative method of Global Positioning System (GPS) for navigation and user tracing while inside a building or a closed space. With IPS it’s possible to create a tour guide application for visitors of “Museum Trowulan”, in which the application could give a multimedia information of an item close to the visitor as a user. The calculation method used is trilateration method combined with kalman filter for signal smoothing. Hopefully with this research, there could be a more interactive museum experience.Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon is used for IPS to broadcast a signal which could be received by the user via smartphone. User’s position could be calculated from the received signal, and then the nearest item could be shown from calculating each item’s position from user’s position. After calculation the data could be analyzed by museum’s admin.The test results show that the beacon’s position and time used for kalman filter affects the end result of calculation. The smaller the zone created by using 3 beacon, the smaller the error distance of the calculation. The calculation result could be seen through the web application in the form of heatmap and volume chart which is categorized by gender and age. This research could be improved by using noise measurement for kalman filter to improve the accuracy of calculation.

Abstract

Learning Management System application is currently widely used by many people to conduct learning activities without having to be in a classroom . The use of Moodle as a Learning Management System be benefited a lot. Moodle is equipped with a mobile application that can be installed on Android devices. However, this application has many features that can be used, some of the existing features is to look at the class that followed and quizzes are held. By utilizing web services, an application designed to address the shortcomings of existing applications. This application provides classes and quiz creation feature on mobile devices. Users who are registered as holding quizzes and teachers can create questions over and Android device users can be registered for the quiz via Android devices. Abstract

Di jaman sekarang, banyak sekali IoT dengan metode baru bermunculan dan menjadi trend di masa kini. Dari banyaknya IoT yang ada jaman sekarang yaitu dalam sistem keamanan rumah dan memudahkan dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari. Di dalam kantor atau perusahaan juga sekarang membutuhkan IoT untuk menjaga file yang dimiliki agar tidak disalah gunakan oleh pegawai perusahaan untuk menjatuhkan perusahaannya sendiri.Selama ini, banyak sekali perusahaan yang tidak bisa bangkit kembali karena hal-hal yang menyalah gunakan data perusahaan untuk kepentingan pribadi. Dan dalam keamanan untuk mencegah kejadian tersebut masih dilakukan dengan cara penyimpanan dalam ruangan yang dijaga oleh security dan memerlukan kunci untuk membuka ruangan tersebut, banyak sekali kekurangannya dan mengeluarkan biaya cukup tinggi. Face Recognition ini dibuat agar perusahaan atau kantor dapat lebih terjaga keamanannya dan menurunkan tingkat resiko yang akan terjadi dalam peretasan dokumen penting perusahaan, karena yang dapat membuka pintu tersebut hanyalah atasan saja dengan cara merekam wajah dan menyimpannya didalam library hak akses pintu. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman Python, dan library yang digunakan adalah OpenCV. Dengan adanya face recognition ini, perusahaan atau kantor dapat lebih terjaga keamanannya dalam hal kehilangan file yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan tersebut.

Abstract

Since the development of computer networks, humans no longer have to implement computer networks in real conditions but can be implemented through network simulators. One of them is GNS3 (Graphical Network Simulator 3). Due to this development, IPv4 stocks have reached their limits and will be replaced with IPv6. Various routing protocols are available to support IPv6. The routing protocols are OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) and EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol). OSPF and EIGRP have many differences in the algorithm used, so in this study will be analysed the comparison of both routing protocol in IPv6 implementation. In this study, will be designed a computer network and tested. Testing is done by using ping and trace route. In addition, there is also testing for convergence time.The results show that the value of delay and throughput of OSPF is better 2-15% than EIGRP on the condition of the connection is not down. On the other hand, when the connection was down, EIGRP is better 45-52% for delay and 38-48% for throughput. Both have the same value for packet loss during normal connection and EIGRP is better 11-16% when connection down. In addition, EIGRP has an initial convergence time of 8 seconds, while OSPF is within 19 seconds. Moreover, EIGRP has convergence time while adding links with a time of 2-6 seconds and OSPF with a time of 8-10 seconds.
