Abstract

Robot is one technology that is being developed at this time. Robot manipulators are widely used in industry, especially robotic arm that has a certain degree of freedom. The problems that occurred in the robot arm is the accuracy in determining the position of the object to be moved. This study aims to apply the method forward kinematics equation modeling on the movement of the robot manipulator in particular robot arm 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) equipped with a gripper which serves to clamp and move the object. The method used in this study is an experimental method in phases: the design of hardware and software, interconnect hardware and software in the system of movement of the robot. Joints actuator using servo motors. Manipulator control system is used to adjust the angular position of each joint with CodeVisionAVR programming language that is sent in parallel to the motor driver so as to produce pulses to move the bike. Forward kinematics equation modeling using trigonometric equations. Forward kinematics modeling applications on the movement of the robot arm that is used to provide information about the value of the angle and the coordinates of each joint. Results of testing the hardware controlled by software to show the error (error) the movement of each joint is varied by between 0.06% - 2.567%.

Abstract

Kriminalitas yang tinggi seiring perkembangan teknologi dan zaman sekarang ini menyebabkan sistem keamanan menjadi kebutuhan mutlak untuk diterapkan, guna melindungi aset dan privasi yang dimiliki. Diharapkan dengan penerapan sistem keamanan tersebut, dapat memberi rasa aman dan nyaman, serta menekan angka kriminalitas yang terjadi di masyarakat khususnya tindak kejahatan pencurian. Tindak kejahatan pencurian banyak terjadi di sekitar rumah, seperti pencurian di dalam garasi dengan cara membobol pintu garasi. Disamping keamanan manusia juga menginginkan sistem yang lebih praktis dan mudah dalam penggunaan pintu garasi. Karena sebagian orang malas untuk membuka dan menutup pintu garasi apalagi jika keadaan hujan. Pengoperasian alat ini dapat dimulai dengan pendeteksian tag RFID ke reader RFID sebagai input, sehingga nantinya akan mengaktifkan sebuah motor servo. Sensor Ping berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi jarak mobil untuk membuka dan menutup pintu garasi secara otomatis. Jarak pada sensor ping dapat diatur sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Setelah dilakukannya pengujian tag RFID hanya dapat dibaca oleh reader RFID dari jarak 1 cm – 3 cm. Pada alat ini menggunakan buzzer sebagai alarm jika kartu RFID salah dan pintu garasi digetarkan.

Abstract

Capability of management is a determinant of business competitiveness. One of the problems of SMIs in Indonesia is the weakness of managerial capabilities of entrepreneurs, so that many businesses arise but at the same time there are manybusiness are collaps. Community service activities aim to keep the IKM survival on business competition. The partners that are fostered are the Dakak-Dakak Bundo Pariangan Business and the Tungku Dakak-Dakak Nila Business. Both partners produce and sell Dakak-dakak cakes, which are special foods of the Simabur region, Pariangan sub-district, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. The problems of the partners at production side are: not have production machines and PIRT certificates and halal certificates from MUI. While from the management aspect is packaging that is still simple using ordinary plastic which is tied to a rubber band at the end, a store display whose arrangement is less attractive. The method of implementing activities is in the form of training and coaching that is carried out for eight months. The results of the activities include providing rice milling machines accompanied by training in use, repairs and maintenance, publishing of Home Industry Food Certificates (PIRT), Halal certificates from the Indonesian Ulema Council, making good packaging and brands, layouts by displaying storefronts so that the store display is visible interesting.

Abstract

Recent research has focused on the development of mobile delivery robots as part of the rapidly evolving autonomous technology. The main focus is on creating mobile robots capable of efficiently delivering goods without human intervention. This involves designing systems, core technologies, and overcoming various challenges. The navigation system of the delivery robot is enhanced by the use of LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors. One of the sensors used is the RPLIDAR A1M8 which is capable of detecting nearby objects with a distance reading of 360°. Trials were conducted to evaluate the robot's navigation performance with a load variation of 0 kg to 20 kg. The test results show that RPLIDAR A1M8 can read distances up to 1200 cm with an error rate of about 3.15%, and a minimum distance of 15 cm with an error of 1.45%. The durability of this sensor reading is well maintained, with a presentation error of only 0.4%. Mapping trials in the room produced an average error of 18.57% without tracking, and 5.02% with tracking. The weight of the load carried by the robot affects the speed and travel time. The heavier the load, the robot speed decreases from 0.264 m/s at 0 kg load to 0.127 m/s at 20 kg load. Likewise, the travel time increases with the weight of the load, from 7.6 seconds to 15.6 seconds.

Abstract

AbstractsThis study analyzes the effect of population growth on economic growth in the Solok district. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of economic growth and population growth of Solok Regency from 2011 to 2022. This data was released by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Solok Regency. Data analysis was performed using simple Regression. The results showed that: Y=-2.158" + 81.832X with a sig value of < 0.05; This means that population growth has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. An r value of 0.910 indicates a strong correlation between population and economic growth. A relationship is vital if the value of r is close to 1.Keywords: Population growth; economic growth; Solok district; simple regression  AbstrakPenelitian ini menganalisa pengaruh pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap petumbuhan ekonomi di kabupaten Solok.  Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pertumbuhan penduduk Kabupaten Solok dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan tahun 2022. Data ini diterbitkan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Solok. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Y=-2,158" + 81,832X dengan nilai sig < 0,05; Artinya pertumbuhan penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikaan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.  Nilai r sebesar 0,910 mengindikasikan korelasi yang kuat antara jumlah penduduk dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Abstract

Milk is one of the foods that contain a number of highly nutritious nutrients. The content of protein, glucose, lipids, mineral salts, and vitamins with a pH of 6.8 causes microorganisms to grow easily in milk. Microorganisms that develop in milk will cause the milk to spoil. Therefore, it is necessary to process milk in order to maximize the quality and durability of milk, one of which is by heating milk (pasteurization). The pasteurization device is designed using a MAX6675 thermocouple sensor to measure the temperature of the milk during the pasteurization process where the temperature is controlled by a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller with predetermined Kp, Ki, Kd parameters. The parameters obtained for PID control are Kp = 42, Ki = 3.5, Kd = 9. In testing the pasteurization device applying the High Temperature Short Time (HTST) method with a setpoint of 72 ℃ for 15 seconds with the time needed to reach the setpoint value for 29 minutes. Temperature readings using MAX6675 thermocouple sensors produce an average error of 0.5% when compared to national standard measuring instruments. Pasteurized milk can last for 3 days at 4-10℃ and for 4 hours at room temperature or around 21-25℃.

Abstract

Line follower robot is a type of autonomous robot designed to follow a specific trajectory, usually a black line on a white background. In order for the robot to follow the trajectory accurately, a sensor is required that is able to detect the difference in light intensity between the line and the background. This study evaluates the application of a photodiode sensor to a microcontroller-based line follower robot, focusing on the performance of the sensor under various lighting conditions and surfaces. The results show that the photodiode sensor is able to detect lines with high accuracy of almost 100% between black lines on a white surface. To achieve fast response speed and high trajectory stability, the optimal distance between the photodiode sensor and the surface must be maintained. Fast response speed and high trajectory stability are at a distance of 0.5 to 1.0 cm. Under normal lighting conditions (200-300 lux), the robot can follow the trajectory with optimal speed and precision. Under low lighting conditions (below 100 lux), the sensor is still able to detect the line, but the robot speed must be reduced to maintain accuracy. Under very bright lighting conditions (above 500 lux), the photodiode sensor shows a little difficulty in distinguishing lines if there is significant light reflection, but it can still be compensated by adjusting the sensor sensitivity. This research provides a solid foundation for further development in improving the performance of line follower robots in various practical applications.

Abstract

Good financial reporting is needed so that financial reports are available accurately and on time. Azizah's crackers business is an SME located in Batu Gadang Village, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City  West Sumatra Province. One of the problems in this business is that financial recording is still done manually, so it requires a long process and a high error rate and it is difficult to know the cash flow position quickly and accurately. Making good financial reports requires time as well as knowledge and expertise in the field of accounting, but not all business people have good knowledge and skills in this field. For this reason, an application is needed that helps create financial reports. In this community service activity, the SIAPIK Application (Financial Information Reporting Application System) because this application is issued by Bank Indonesia which has the standards of the Indonesian Accounting Association, is free, and can be used for all types of businesses including manufacturing. Method of implementing activities: planning and preparation through surveys or initial interviews with cracker Uzziah leaders to understand needs and problems, Implementation by providing training and assistance in using SIAPIK, Evaluation is carried out by assessing participants abilities in running the SIAPIK application, Monitoring and follow-up assistance by scheduling periodic visits, Reporting by making activity reports. Azizah's crackers employees participated in the training well and smoothly, the SIAPIK application has been installed on their smartphones, and employees can input data, make transactions, and issue business financial reports

Abstract

Health issues commonly faced by the elderly include geriatric syndromes. The impact of these syndromes on older adults can lead to instability (disruption of balance, making them prone to falls) and intellectual impairment. Because of these concerns, monitoring is essential for individuals experiencing geriatric syndromes to prevent symptoms from worsening due to falls. As technology advances, object tracking systems using Global Positioning System (GPS) have developed significantly. However, GPS tracking systems are primarily suitable for outdoor tracking. Thus, there is a need for a method capable of detecting individuals with geriatric syndrome indoors and providing alerts if they fall. This study proposes a multi-room monitoring system for patients with geriatric syndrome to mitigate the adverse effects of falls by implementing an Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and gyroscope sensors for fall detection. The proposed IPS employs BLE technology using the trilateration method. The ESP32 module is selected as the reference point for scanning BLE signals, measuring signal strength (RSSI), and transmitting data to a server for further processing via the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. The result of the test carried out during indoor conditions showed an average deviation in the x-cordinate of 0.28 meters and y-cordinate of 0.27 meters from the patients actual location.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are a serious issue, causing an average of three fatalities every hour. Based on available data, approximately 61% of traffic accidents are caused by human factors, 9% by vehicle roadworthiness, and 30% by infrastructure-related factors such as road conditions, traffic signs, weather, and the surrounding environment. In the process of accident investigation, law enforcement officers often face difficulties in obtaining accurate data related to vehicle speed, braking activity, and the use of turn signals by the rider. As a result, the information gathered is often subjective and varies among different witnesses. This study aims to design and implement a motorcycle monitoring system capable of recording vehicle speed, braking actions, and turn signal activation in real-time to support objective traffic accident analysis. The method used in this research involves the development of a microcontroller-based hardware system equipped with a speed sensor, brake sensor, and turn signal sensor. All data is automatically transmitted using Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to the Google Firebase platform. An Android application developed using MIT App Inventor displays the data in real-time, while storage is handled through integration with Google Spreadsheet. The results of this system are expected to provide accurate and reliable reference data for law enforcement and relevant institutions in analyzing traffic accidents, as well as to serve as a preventive tool for future incidents by enabling digital monitoring of driving behavior.
