Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problematic parenting patterns after divorce on the success of Islamic Religious Education for adolescents in the Society 5.0 era, by highlighting the importance of collaboration between parents and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of adolescents, parents, and PAI teachers. The study was conducted in Pegandan Village, Margorejo District, Pati Regency, on April 8–30, 2025. Pati Regency was chosen because it is one of the areas with the highest divorce rates in Central Java. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to describe the dynamics of post-divorce parenting patterns and the influence of parent-teacher collaboration on the success of adolescent religious education. The results of the study show that the success of adolescent Islamic Religious Education is not only influenced by parental parenting patterns, but also by the level of effective collaboration between parents and PAI teachers. Collaboration that is established in the form of intensive communication, agreement in instilling religious values, and emotional and academic support has been shown to strengthen the achievement of adolescent Islamic Religious Education, even in separated family conditions. This finding confirms the importance of synergy between the family and school environments in fostering adolescent spiritual resilience amidst the challenges of the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate a discussion on the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at madrasah tsanawiyah. This research uses a qualitative descriptive qualitative research method using the independent curriculum theory which is based on constructivism learning theory. According to the principle of independent learning, curricula can be tailored to meet the needs and abilities of students, enabling them to participate more actively and creatively in the learning process. Regarding data collection techniques, it consists of conducting interviews with fikih subject teachers. Based on the research, the independent curriculum for learning fikih at MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Bangsri has been implemented since the 2023/2024 school year, but the implementation has not been perfect. When the autonomous learning curriculum for fikih learning was implemented, a number of difficulties and issues were discovered, namely educators or teachers have the responsibility of compiling teaching modules for learning, but the teacher has not found specific reference material for making teaching modules. Information is still limited regarding fikih learning in the independent learning curriculum. Even though the ministry of religion has an independent curriculum platform called Sikurma, the Ministry of Religious Affairs' autonomous learning curriculum which includes learning fikih, has not been fully covered by this platform. Because there aren't many independent curriculum textbooks available for Islamic Religious Education in madrasahs, pupils are still using the 2013 curriculum books.

Abstract

Memorizing hadith is often considered a difficult and boring activity by most students, especially those unfamiliar with traditional approaches that are generally monotonous and repetitive. This study offers an innovative solution to increase the effectiveness and interest of students in memorizing hadith. The main focus of the study is to design a musicalization strategy as a tool for enjoyable hadith memorization. The purpose of this study was to explore the use of musicalization as an innovative strategy in the process of memorizing hadith. This study used a qualitative approach with literature review methods, as well as analysis of educational theory and music psychology. The results showed that the use of musicalization as a strategy in memorizing hadith has a significant positive impact on improving memory and enhancing the learning atmosphere. Musicalization, which combines elements of melody, rhythm, and lyrics, stimulates the right and left brain simultaneously, creating optimal cognitive synergy. The repetitive melodic and rhythmic patterns help students recall hadith texts more easily, while the emotional associations created through music strengthen long-term information retention.

Abstract

Religious education in primary schools has often been used merely as a complement to the learning process. Government attention and commitment to developing religious education remain limited to fulfilling the obligations mandated by existing legislation. The thematic and integrative approach in Curriculum 2013 provides new hope for religious education, enabling it to be integrated with other subjects in the learning process. The implementation of Curriculum 2013 was driven by the emergence of deviant behavior among students, ranging from moral decline to the erosion of students’ character. The new breakthroughs introduced in Curriculum 2013 are expected to address various social issues in education. This paper seeks to reveal the integration model of religion and science in the new curriculum, particularly through the unification of subjects. This integration is carried out by incorporating basic competencies into themes related to nature and the environment in daily life. The integration of subject materials into several themes is expected to help students develop a holistic understanding of the material, rather than a partial one.
