Abstract

Digital transformation in the banking sector has reshaped customer expectations, necessitating the adoption of mobile banking services. However, despite the increasing number of BSI Mobile users, there is still limited understanding of how product quality and user decisions influence user satisfaction, particularly within the framework of Islamic branding. Existing research on digital banking primarily focuses on service quality and usability, but studies examining the moderating role of Islamic branding in customer satisfaction remain scarce. This study aims to bridge this gap by analyzing the direct and moderated effects of product quality and user decisions on user satisfaction with BSI Mobile. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 100 respondents via a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that user decisions negatively impact satisfaction, while product quality positively influences satisfaction. Furthermore, Islamic branding negatively affects satisfaction but positively moderates the relationships between product quality, user decisions, and satisfaction. These insights highlight the need for improved product quality and strategic Islamic branding approaches to enhance digital Islamic banking services and customer engagement.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the innovation of Troso woven fabric products as a local cultural heritage by applying anti-ultraviolet (anti-UV) technology to increase added value and competitiveness in the modern market. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) which consists of problem identification stages, literature studies, field observations, to design and prototyping. Troso woven fabrics, which have the power of high aesthetic and cultural value, have the potential to be developed through environmentally friendly technological approaches, one of which is by coating titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles to provide protection against UV radiation. The results of this development show that the incorporation of functional technology with traditional values can create textile products that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also adaptive to the needs of modern consumers, particularly in the outdoor and active fashion sectors. This research is expected to make a real contribution to the preservation of local culture based on innovation and become a reference for the sustainable development of other traditional handicraft products

Abstract

The development of Islamic banking continues to show significant progress, with Southeast Asia becoming the main growth center of the Islamic financial sector in the world. Each Islamic bank has its own characteristics and advantages in various aspects of performance. This study aims to compare the financial performance between Islamic banks in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. The study population includes Islamic banks from both countries, with samples taken from Maybank Islamic Berhad and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam. Measurement of financial performance is carried out through profitability analysis. The approach used is quantitative with descriptive statistical analysis and One Sample t-test using SPSS software. The test results show significant differences in the ROA, ROE, CAR, and BOPO ratios between the two banks. The research findings reveal that Maybank Islamic Berhad has better performance in the BOPO and ROE ratios, while Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam excels in the ROA ratio, also enriching the understanding of the differences in operational dynamics and financial conditions of Islamic banks in two countries with different economic and regulatory characteristics. This study is expected to be an evaluation material to improve the performance of each Islamic bank.

Abstract

Abstrak Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) adalah lembaga keuangan mikro yang beroperasi berdasarkan prinsip Syariah, namun BMT memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat yang memadukan kesejahteraan sosial dan keuangan komersial untuk mendorong pengentasan kemiskinan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi. Pengawasan diperlukan guna membentuk suatu keyakinan dan jaminan bahwa sejumlah pekerjaan yang dijalankan sejalan terhadap rencana yang sudah perusahaan tetapkan. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan: pertama, menganalisis mengenai pengawasan Dinas Koperasi terhadap BMT dalam meningkatkan kinerja dann keberlanjutan BMT; kedua, menganalisis tentang sanksi atau tindakan apa yang diambil oleh Dinas Koperasi terhadap BMT yang tidak memenuhi standar kinerja yang ditetapkan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan melalui tiga teknik utama yaitu: wawancara mendalam, observasi. Adapun hasil yang didapat dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah BMT tidak hanya mengandalkan Dinas Koperasi dalam pengawasan, tetapi juga memiliki sistem pengawasan internal yang efektif. Di sisi lain, BMT juga memiliki komitmen untuk menjalankan kegiatan yang sesuai syariah dan menjaga kepercayaan anggota dengan mengelola dana mereka dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil, Pengawasan, Dinas Koperasi, Kinerja, Badan Hukum. Abstract Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) is a microfinance institution that operates based on Sharia principles, but BMT has a very important role in improving the lives of people who combine social welfare and commercial finance to encourage poverty alleviation and economic empowerment. Supervision is needed to form a belief and guarantee that a certain amount of work carried out is in line with the plans that the company has set. This research has several objectives: first, to analyze the Cooperative Office's supervision of BMTs in improving the performance and sustainability of BMTs. second, to analyze what sanctions or actions are taken by the Cooperative Office against BMTs that do not meet the established performance standards. The research methodology used in this research is qualitative, using data collection methods in this research will be carried out through three main techniques, namely: in-depth interviews, observation. The results obtained from the research conducted are that BMT does not only rely on the Cooperative Office in supervision, but also has an effective internal supervision system. On the other hand, BMT also has a commitment to carry out sharia-compliant activities and maintain members' trust by managing their funds well. Abstract

Abstract: This study was carried out with the aim of describing and analyzing the marketing strategy of savings products at the Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) financial institution Mitra Muamalat, Kudus City. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews with several informants, namely managers, branch coordinators, account officers, and customers at BMT Mitra Muamalat Kudus. The results of this study indicate that each marketing strategy has its own advantages depending on the intended target market. The marketing strategy at BMT Mitra Muamalat Kudus which is considered effective in increasing the number of customers is "getok tular" or better known as word of mouth marketing activities. The recommendation from this study for the development of further research is that researchers can explore data sources in several BMTs to then be analyzed and compared with one another in order to get more concrete results regarding effective marketing strategies to increase the number of deposit customers at Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT). Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis strategi pemasaran produk simpanan pada lembaga keuangan Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Mitra Muamalat Kota Kudus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi langsung dan proses wawancara terhadap beberapa informan yaitu manajer, koordinator cabang, account officer, serta nasabah di BMT Mitra Muamalat Kudus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap strategi pemasaran memiliki keunggulan tersendiri tergantung pada target pasar yang dituju. Strategi pemasaran pada BMT Mitra Muamalat Kudus yang dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan jumlah nasabah adalah “getok tular” atau lebih dikenal dengan Kegiatan pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini untuk pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya adalah supaya peneliti dapat menggali sumber data di beberapa BMT untuk kemudian dianalisis dan dibandingkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya agar mendapatkan hasil yang lebih konkrit mengenai strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan jumlah nasabah simpanan pada Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT).

Abstract

Fenomena maraknya penggunaan layanan bank digital untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari telah memberikan dampak yang positif salah satunya kemudahan dalam bertransaksi. Menurut riset Lokadata.id, pada tahun 2024 sebesar 73% penggunaan layanan bank digital di dominasi oleh generasi Z dan milenial. Namun, maraknya penggunaan layanan bank digital oleh generasi muda ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap pola konsumsi mereka yang semakin impulsif jika tidak dibekali dengan tingkat literasi keuangan yang cukup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemudahan layanan bank digital dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif Generasi Z di Kabupaten Kudus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan metode purposive sampling 50 responden yaitu Generasi Z (usia 15-27 tahun) di Kabupaten Kudus yang telah menggunakan layanan bank digital. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil analisis diharapkan akan memberi informasi terkait kemudahan layanan bank digital dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Temuan dari penelitian ini akan mengindikasikan faktor-faktor seperti kemudahan akses layanan bank digital dan tingkat pemahaman keuangan terhadap pola konsumsi Generasi Z. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan literasi keuangan menjadi aspek penting untuk membentuk perilaku konsumsi yang lebih bijak di era digital.
