Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang “Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Uang Rupiah Menggunakan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning Berbantuan Microsoft Powerpoint pada Materi Pecahan Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Daya Ingat Siswa SD Kelas III”, Anak di usia sekolah dasar mereka lebih dominan memakai otak kanan dibanding otak kiri, oleh karena itu banyak sekali siswa yang kurang menyukai mata pelajaran matematika, Hal ini dibuktikan pada pelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan di SD Cihideung kelas III. Dari hasil nilai harian tersebut bahwa dari 29 orang siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 68,79. Adapun nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) di sekolah adalah 70 untuk pelajaran matematika. Dari hasil nilai harian tersebut terbukti siswa masih rendah dalam kemampuan daya ingat karena keterlibatan siswa secara langsung dalam pembelajaran masih minim sehingga siswa tidak mampu mengingat materi yang diajarkan. Selain itu, hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa beberapa siswa tidak memperhatikan guru sehingga sulit untuk memahami materi dan mengingat materi. Pada kasus ini penulis merangkai metode pembelajaran matematika pada satu tema yaitu bilangan pecahan secara sederhana dan mudah, salah satunya menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis uang rupiah berbantuan microsoft powerpoint yang menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning karena dengan hal ini siswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan daya ingat secara realistis dan teoritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa kelas IV SD yang menggunakan pendekatan realistic mathematics education lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa, kesulitan siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar serta kesulitan guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan realistic mathematics education dalam penelitian. Metode penelitian menggunakan mix methods dengan desain sequential explanatory design. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Barukai. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas IV B sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes (pretest dan posttest), lembar angket, observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh score 0,55 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 0,33. Kesulitan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal pada beberapa indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kesulitan guru dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada sebagian siswa yang belum bisa memahami pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan dikehidupan sehari-hari. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan realistic mathematics education dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV SD dan tidak terdapat kesulitan siswa dan guru yang signifikan karena dapat teratasi dengan baik.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study to prove that the use of mind mapping media is able to help students understand learning, especially in cubes and blocks in online learning. The location of this research is SDN Pakuhaji. This study uses a scientific approach with the steps of stating the problem, collecting information, taking hypotheses, conducting experiments, collecting data, and drawing conclusions. From the results that have been obtained this mind mapping media can help students understand learning. During the pre-test the average score of the students was 2.2, while during the post-test the average score of the students increased by 6.6. There are difficulties experienced by students and writers in carrying out research, including lack of internet data, poor signal, and lack of mobile phone facilities.

Abstract

Education is crucial in shaping a nation's future, especially in the era of globalization and information technology. Higher education, however, faces complexities such as unequal access and a lack of transparency, necessitating effective solutions. This research focuses on the pressing need for implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) to improve the efficiency and quality of learning. The research aims to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of LMS usage in higher education. It analyzes student participation, engagement levels in learning materials, and their impact on learning outcomes. The study contributes to understanding the dynamics of LMS usage, laying the groundwork for enhancements in the higher education environment. Qualitatively descriptive, the research centers on students at Darwan Ali University to provide a holistic overview of LMS adoption in higher education. Through purposive sampling, the main population includes students from Darwan Ali University, ensuring comprehensive representation. Data collection employs questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires explore students' perceptions and experiences with LMS, while interviews provide in-depth insights. Confidentiality and data integrity are maintained during the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with students. Data analysis takes a qualitative, descriptive approach, identifying patterns, findings, and relationships among variables from questionnaires and interviews. Despite a preference for conventional methods, students at Darwan Ali University have integrated LMS into their learning, overcoming difficulties for an overall improvement in learning outcomes. The research highlights student acceptance of LMS, challenges faced, and positive impacts on learning outcomes. Privacy and data security concerns emphasize the need for attention to enhance user trust in online learning technology. Anticipated to contribute significantly, this research provides insights into LMS dynamics in higher education. It forms the basis for future improvements, aiming to create a more effective and secure online learning experience.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges faced by humans today related to the environment. Ecoliteracy intelligence needs to be developed especially for FKIP students at the University of Bale Bandung, who are prospective educators to create environmentally friendly character- based learning. This study aims to analyze: (1) the eco-literacy intelligence of FKIP Bale University Bandung students; (2) Factors that become obstacles and potential in building eco- literacy intelligence for FKIP UNIBBA students; and (3) The implementation of eco-literacy competencies through project citizens. The method used was a survey in four study programs, with respondents consisting of study program heads/secretaries, teaching staff, and students. The results of the study show that (1) In general, FKIP UNIBBA students have good eco- literacy intelligence in preserving the environment; (2) The potential effort to increase students' eco- literacy intelligence is implemented in an integrated curriculum in each study program, especially those related to ethics and environmental awareness courses, a global perspective, PLSBS Sundanese Culture which is a special subject based on local wisdom of FKIP UNIBBA. Meanwhile, the obstacles in efforts to increase the eco-literacy intelligence of FKIP UNIBBA students are the absence of a policy to provide a special budget for the provision of environmentally friendly facilities; (3) The project citizen model is a character-based learning model to create smart and wise citizens who are built through ecological intelligence. Strategic policies to create a green and environmentally friendly campus need to be improved.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menghadapi tantangan dalam hal relevansi terhadap kebutuhan kompetensi kejuruan. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan kurang kontekstual. Tujuan: Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran matematika berbasis kontekstual guna meningkatkan kompetensi kejuruan siswa di SMK Insan Unggul. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain partisipatif melalui pelatihan guru, pendampingan, dan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, angket motivasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika, kemampuan aplikasi dalam bidang kejuruan, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam merancang pembelajaran kontekstual juga mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran matematika vokasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia industri.

Abstract

This study is based on the background based on the problems that occur, namely the low ability to understand mathematical concepts in class IV students and some teachers still apply learning models that only provide material with the lecture method. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Problem Based Learning model to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts at the elementary school level. Based on the background of the problem, the solution that can overcome the problems that occur at SDN 197 Karang Taruna Karangsari by using the Problem Based Learning model. The mix method research method was used for this research. The design used is squential explanatory. In qualitative research using quasi experimental methods with Nonrandomized Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design design. A total of 30 students in class IV A in the experimental class and 38 students in class IV B as the control class at SDN 197 Karang Taruna Karangsari. The results of the study based on statistical tests of the average gain value in the experimental class of 0.60 including the medium category and the average gain value of the control class obtained a result of 0.48 in the low category. This means that the Problem Based Learning model is better than using conventional models. Students are very enthusiastic about learning by using the Problem Based Learning model and this model is suitable for use in grade IV elementary school level.

Abstract

AbstractThis study identified and analyzed epistemological obstacles experienced by prospective elementary school teachers in solving mathematical literacy tasks on plane geometry material. This study employed a case study method, involving 24 students from a university, which was located in Cimahi City, West Java. The diagnostic test served as the research instrument and the data were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach to uncover various epistemological obstacles encountered by undergraduate students, including misconceptions regarding the properties of plane figures and difficulties in applying geometric concepts to mathematical literacy tasks. Epistemological obstacles arise due to the students' inability to connect abstract concepts with practical contexts, as well as their limited understanding of basic geometric concepts. These obstacles primarily stem from misconceptions about fundamental concepts of plane figures, difficulties in applying geometric concepts in contextual situations, and procedural learning approaches that lack conceptual depth. This research contributes to developing geometry learning strategies at the elementary school level, which can ultimately improve the overall quality of mathematics education.Keywords: epistemological obstacle, mathematical literacy, plane geometry. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis hambatan epistemologis yang dialami oleh mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan tugas literasi matematis pada materi geometri bidang datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan melibatkan 24 mahasiswa dari sebuah universitas yang berlokasi di Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat. Test diagnostik digunakan sebagai instrument penelitian, dan data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik untuk mengungkap berbagai hambatan epistemologis yang dialami oleh mahasiswa, termasuk miskonsepsi terhadap sifat-sifat bangun datar dan kesulitan dalam menerapkan konsep geometri pada tugas literasi matematika. Hambatan epistemologis muncul karena ketidakmampuan mahasiswa dalam menghubungkan konsep-konsep abstrak dengan konteks praktis, serta keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap konsep dasar geometri. Hambatan-hambatan ini terutama berasal dari miskonsepsi mengenai konsep dasar bangun datar, kesulitan dalam menerapkan konsep geometri dalam situasi kontekstual, dan pendekatan pembelajaran prosedural yang kurang mendalam secara konseptual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran geometri di tingkat sekolah dasar, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika secara keseluruhan.Keywords: hambatan epistemis, literasi matematis, bangun datar.
