Abstract

This study was aimed to analyzethe effect of project based learning model to understanding concepts  and critical thinking skills in optics lecture at undergraduate student of Physics Educational Program of IKIP Mataram in academic year 2013/2014. This study included in quasi experiment with posttest onlycontrol group design. All of 75 populations are included as sample. The datawere analyzed with multivariate analysis (MANOVA).The conclusion can be stated based on analysis result is (1) project based learning model having an effect on understandingconcepts of undergraduate students ((Fcal = 37,88 > Ftable = 3,91), with pvalue<0,05. (2) project based learning model having an effect on critical thinking skill of undergraduate students ((Fcal = 5,47 > Ftable = 3,91), with pvalue<0,05. (3) project based learning model having an effect on both understandingconcepts and critical thinking of undergraduate students ((Fcal = 34,86 > Ftable = 3,91), with pvalue<0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning models on the students? metacognition awareness in senior high school. Metacognition awareness in this study consists of eight components, namely (1) declarative knowledge, (2) procedural knowledge, (3) conditional knowledge, (4) planning, (5) information management system, (6) monitoring, (7) evaluation, and (8) debugging. This research is a quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 25 students of science in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Lombok Tengah chosen using the saturated sample technique. Metacognition Awerness Inventory (MAI) is used to collect metacognition awareness data of students who are analyzed using paired t-test and Wilcoxon test samples. The results showed that students' metacognition awareness for all indicators was stated to increase (p <0.05) after learning using inquiry learning models. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model influences the metacognition awareness of secondary school students.

Abstract

Undang-undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2004 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah menjelaskan bahwa pemerintah daerah mempunyai kewenangan yang menjadi urusan wajib. Salah satu kewenangan yang menjadi urusan wajib pemerintahan daerah untuk kabupaten/kota yaitu penyediaan sarana umum. Pasar sebagai salah satu sarana perdagangan bagi masyarakat umum, wajib disediakan oleh masing-masing pemerintah daerah. Pelayanan umum yang diberikan pemerintah daerah harus mampu melayani seluruh wilayah baik yang berada di pusat kota maupun perbatasan. Atikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelayanan lintas batas daerah Pasar Boja yang terletak di kawasan perbatasan Kabupaten Kendal dan Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul, digunakan teknik analisis berupa teknik tematic analysis (analisis tema) untuk mengolah data. Dari beberapa kajian hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pasar Boja merupakan pasar lintas batas daerah yang melayani masyarakat di Kabupaten Kendal dan di luar Kabupaten Kendal, didukung oleh barang dagangan yang lengkap, harganya terjangkau, pasarnya ramai, lokasi yang strategis dan aksesibilitas mudah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students MAN 1 Mataram Academic Year 2012/2013 through the application of cooperative learning model and strategy learning POE (Predict Observe Explain). The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK). This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Data on cognitive learning outcomes was obtained from PG tests and critical thinking through LKS. The subjects of the study are students of class X-1 that is 35 people. The results showed that, there is an increase in learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills after the application of learning models. In the first cycle of classical completeness of cognitive learning results of 48.39%, the second cycle increased to 87.88%. The students' critical thinking ability in the first cycle was 67.28, and the Ikedua cycle increased to 74.62 with critical criteria. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model with POE (Predict Observe Explain) learning strategy has improved yield learning and critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract

Salah satu luaran dari tugas akhir mahasiswa program Studi Pendidikan Fisika adalah berupa skripsi atau karya tulis ilmiah. Kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan Reference Managemenet Software (RMS) Zotero menjadi kendala dalam menyusun sumber Pustaka yang tepat pada karya ilmiah. Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini adalah memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam menyiapkan luaran tugas akhir. Fokus materi pelatihan adalah mengelola referensi menggunakan perangkat lunak Zotero. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa semester tujuh program studi pendidikan Fisika Universtas Pendidikan Mandalika, berjumlah 14 orang mahasiswa. Metode pelaksanaan adalah knowledge transfer dengan tahapan kegiatan; 1) persiapan, 2) pelaksanaan, dan 3) evaluasi. Setelah kegitan selesai dilaksanakan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra menggunakan Reference Managemenet Software (RMS) Zotero dalam pengelolaan sumber rujukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design, dengan sampel 25 peserta didik program studi pendidikan fisika FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi untuk mengukur validitas produk, dan tes berbentuk essay yang mengukur efektivitas produk untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Data dan analisis yang digunakan yaitu: (1) validitas produk dilakukan oleh 2 (dua) ahli yang berkompeten dan dianalisis secara deskriptif, dan (2) efektivitas produk diukur setelah pembelajaran dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persamaan n-gain, dan secara statistik dengan paired samples test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving valid (3,38) dan reliabel (0,97), sedangkan pengetahuan metakognisi meliputi pengetahuan deklaratif (n-gain = 0,58), pengetahuan prosedural (n-gain = 0,53), dan pengetahuan kondisional (n-gain = 0,56) dinyatakan meningkat setelah pembelajaran dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving berpengaruh signifikan (p < 0,05) terhadap pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, prototipe buku ajar fisika dasar reflektif-integratif berbasis problem solving valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognisi peserta didik.Validity and effectiveness of reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving to improve metacognition knowledge AbstractThis study aimed at producing a valid and effective reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving in order to improve students' metacognitive knowledge at university level. The design was quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design, which involved 25 students of FPMIPA, IKIP Mataram. Instruments of the study were a validation sheet to measure product validity and an essay test to measure effectiveness of the product in attempt to improve students' metacognitive knowledge. Data and its analysis were conducted through: (1) two experts' descriptive judgements on the validity of the text book and (2) descriptive analysis on product effectiveness analyzed after learning session by using n-gain equation and statistical analysis using paired sample test. Results show that the text book prototype was valid (3,38) and reliable (0,97), while metacognitive knowledge that covered declarative knowledge (n-gain= 0,58), procedural knowledge (n-gain= 0,53), and conditional knowledge (n-gain= 0,56) were found improved at medium level after learning conducted. Statistical test result shows that the text book protype had significant effect (p<0,05) towards students' metacognitive knowledge. Therefore, the reflective-integrative basic physics textbook prototype based on problem solving was found valid and effective in improving students' metacognitive knowledge at university level.
