The purpose of this study is to improve the students? activity and learning outcomes through the implementation of the POE learning model with the assistance of student worksheets. The research subjects were 22 students? grade of VIII SMP Negeri 4 Batukliang Utara. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The implementation of the POE learning model is carried out through three stages, namely Predict, Observe, and Explain stages. The measured variable is the activity and learning outcomes on the subject matter of Motion. Research data collection techniques using observation sheets and tests. The results of the study in Cycle I obtained an average score of student learning activities is 2.08 with the category of quite active and the average value of students? learning outcomes is 73.41 with classical completeness of 54.55%. In cycle II the average score of students? learning activities is 2.95 with the actively category and the average learning outcome is 83.41 with a classical completeness of 86.36%. Based on the results of the study it was found that the implementation of the POE learning model with the worksheets assistance could improve the students? activities and learning outcomes grade of VIII SMPN 4 Batukliang Utara.

The role of education is to improve the quality of education, especially in producing high-quality students. High-quality students are those who are able to think critically, creatively, logically and take initiatives in responding to issues in society caused by the impact of the development of science and technology. This study aims to determine the effect of a scientific approach to students' critical thinking skills. This study is an experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study consisted of one class (28 students), which was treated using a scientific approach. Critical thinking skills are measured using a test instrument and then analyzed statistically (t test). Hypothesis test results indicate that there is an effect of using a scientific approach toward students' critical thinking skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning models with pictorial riddle methods on students' creative thinking abilities. This research is a quasi-experimental (Quasy Experiment) with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X IPA 2 and class X IPA 3, each of which amounted to 30 students. The creative thinking ability test instrument consisting of 12 items and observation sheets was used to collect data in this study. The results of the study were analyzed using SPSS v-22 software for windows. The results showed that: 1) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control classes were 45.7 and 44.1 respectively; 2) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control class were 79.2 and 68.8 respectively; 3) homogeneity prerequisite tests show homogeneous data and normality tests show normally distributed data; 4) t-test results obtained Sig. (2-tailed) posttest data (0.00) is smaller than alpha testing (0.05), so the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, the inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method influences students' creative thinking abilities.

[Title: The Implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model with Jingle Button Techniques to Increase Student Activities]. This study aims to improve the learning activities of students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) NW SIKUR by applying cooperative learning models of clanging button techniques. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs NW SIKUR, amounting to 37 people. Student and teacher learning activity data is collected through observation sheets. From the results of the study, it was found that the total score of student activity in the 2 cycles always increased. In cycle, I the score of student activity was 2.88 with the category of quite active while in cycle II the score of student activity was 3.41 with the active category. Based on the overall results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the clanking button learning cooperative model can increase the learning activities of students of class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah NW SIKUR in the academic year 2017/2018.

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk pelatihan, transfer teknologi, dan penyuluhan tentang pembuatan batako ringan dari limbah pengolahan emas kepada mitra. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al-Intishor Tanjung Karang, Mataram. Dalam pengabdian ini siswa dan guru akan: 1) dijelaskan tentang bahaya limbah pengolahan emas serta bagaimana proses penanganannya sehingga menjadi ramah lingkungan; 2) dilatih/praktik bagaimana proses pembuatan batako ringan dari limbah pengolahan emas, sehingga menghasilkan batako ringan; 3) dilatih memvariasikan filler/penguat pada batako ringan dengan menggunakan bahan/material yang selama ini kurang dimanfaatkan sehingga batoko menjadi semakin kuat dan ringan. Luaran dari pengabdian ini yaitu bertambahnya ilmu siswa dan guru tentang pengelolaan limbah dan batako ringan hasil buatan sisw adan guru.Training of Making Lightweight Brick from Traditional Gold Processing Waste in Students of MA Intishor Tanjung KarangAbstractThe purpose of this service is to training, transfer technology, and knowledge about making lightweight brick from gold processing waste to partners. This devotion was carried out at MA Al-Intishor Tanjung Karang, Mataram. In this service students and teachers will: 1) learn about the dangers of gold processing and how the handling process becomes a friendly environment; 2) lightweight concrete building / processing process from gold processing waste, producing light brick; 3) Frying varies the filler / reinforcement on lightweight brick by using materials that have been underutilized so the brick becomes stronger and lighter. The output of this service is the increasing knowledge of students and teachers about the management of waste and light brick made by students and teachers.

Pembelajaran di dalam kelas yang cenderung berpusat pada guru disinyalir menjadi penyebab rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa. Penggunaan mode pembelajaran yang tepat diharapkan mampu membuat siswa berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Siswa pada kelas VIII4 (34 siswa) dijadikan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa pada kelas VIII6 (34 siswa) sebagai kelompok control yang dipilih menggunakan claster random sampling technique. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes objektif yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda dan indeks kesukaran. Perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji-t setelah dinyatakan memenuhi uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata pretest kelompok eksperimen sebesar 36,17 dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 39,5. Sedangkan skor rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen sebesar 65,41 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 50. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan thitung = 6,07 > ttabel = 2,00, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa SMP. The Effect of the Use of Guided Inquiry Learning Model on the Physics Learning Achievement of Junior High School Students Abstract Learning in the classroom that tends to be teacher-centered is allegedly the cause of the low student achievement. The use of appropriate learning modes is expected to be able to make students play an active role in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' physics learning achievement. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. Students in class VIII4 (34 students) were used as the experimental group and students in class VIII6 (34 students) as the control group were selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The research data were collected using an objective test instrument that had been tested for validity, reliability, discriminatory power and difficulty index. Differences in student achievement were analyzed using t-test after being declared to meet the prerequisite tests for normality and data homogeneity. Based on the results of data analysis, the average pretest score of the experimental group was 36.17 and the control group was 39.5. While the posttest average score of the experimental group is 65.41 and the control class is 50. The t-test results show tcount = 6.07 > ttable = 2.00, so it can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry learning model has a significant effect on junior high school students’ physics learning achievement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan video pembelajaran kontekstual yang layak untuk meningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa. Video pembelajaran kontekstual ini dihasilkan melalui tahapan pengembangan ADDIE yakni: analyze, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Uji coba empirik video pembelajaran ini dilakukan pada kelas sebelas IPA SMA Negeri 1 Masbagik dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 34 orang. Hasil uji kelayakan produk video pembelajaran kontekstual berdasarkan tiga validator memiliki nilai rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 79% dengan kriteria “layak” sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan atau media pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data angket motivasi belajar terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan video pembelajaran kontekstual ini juga memiliki persentase sebesar 82% dengan kualifikasi “baik”. Berdasarkan hasil uji empirik menggunakan soal uraian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pretest dan postest mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan berturut dari 0,79 menjadi 0,86, sehingga nilai rata-rata dari skor N-gain diperoleh sebesar 0,45 dengan kriteria interprestasi (sedang). Hasil pengembangan ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran kontekstual memenuhi kategori layak dan secara empirik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa. Development of Contextual Learning Videos to Improve Students' Motivation and Analysis Ability Abstract This research aims to produce contextual learning videos that are suitable for improving students' analytical skills. This learning video was produced through ADDIE development, namely: analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The empirical test of the learning video was carried out in class 11 science at SMA Negeri 1 Masbagik as many as 34 students. The feasibility test results from the three validators have an average percentage value of 79% with "feasible criteria" so that it can be used as a learning media. The results of the analysis of 'learning motivation' on increasing student learning motivation using contextual learning videos also have a percentage of 82% with the "Good Category". Based on the results of empirical tests using descriptive questions, it shows that the average pretest and posttest scores have increased significantly from 0.79 to 0.86, so the average value of the N-gain score is 0.45 with "Medium Criteria". The results can be concluded that contextual learning videos meet the appropriate category and are empirically able to improve students' analytical skills.

Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan prototype modul fisika berbasis masalah yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ADDIE, dimana model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Keruak dengan subjek uji coba pada tahap penerapan berjumlah 32 siswa. Ditinjau hasil berdasarkan analisis penilaian dua orang validator menunjukkan bahwa produk modul fisika yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat layak untuk diterapkan. Kategori ini diperkuat juga oleh respon positip siswa terhadap modul fisika berbasis masalah sehingga efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka. Efek penerapan modul fisika berbasis masalah memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa yang dalam hal ini berkategori sedang (N-gain=0,44). Penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa produk modul fisika berbasis masalah secara umum lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan bahan ajar yang biasa digunakan. Kedepannya, modul ini dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru untuk mengeksplorasi tingkat kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam belajar fisika di sekolah. Development of Problem-Based Modules to Improve Student Learning Outcomes Abstract The aim of the research is to produce a prototype problem-based physics module that is suitable for use to improve student physics learning outcomes. The development used is the ADDIE model namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Keruak with a sample of 32 students. The results based on the assessment analysis of two validators show that the physics module product developed is categorized as very suitable for application. This category is also strengthened by students' positive responses to the problem-based physics module so that it effectively improves their learning outcomes. The effect of implementing the problem-based physics module shows an increase in students' physics learning outcomes, which in this case is in the medium category (N-gain=0.44). This research concluded that problem-based physics module products are generally more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to commonly used teaching materials. In the future, this module can become an alternative teaching material used by teachers to explore the level of students' thinking abilities in learning physics at school.

In the contemporary educational landscape, cultivating critical thinking skills is imperative for students to thrive in the 21st century. Recognizing that critical thinking is not an instantaneous process, it is essential to employ didactic mechanisms specifically designed to hone this skill. Traditional expository teaching methods have been deemed insufficient in fostering critical thinking among students. Therefore, effective pedagogical intervention models are warranted, allowing students to engage authentically in everyday contexts. This study assesses the impact of an ethnoscience-integrated problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, the research unfolded in a secondary school in Mataram City, with a sample of 66 students divided into experimental and control classes. The experimental class experienced instruction through an ethnoscience-integrated problem-based learning model, while the control class adhered to traditional (expository) teaching methods. Critical thinking skills were assessed using a validated test instrument encompassing analysis, inference, evaluation, and decision-making indicators. Descriptive and statistical analyses were applied to scrutinize the data. The results revealed that students in the experimental class exhibited higher levels of critical thinking skills than their counterparts in the control class, which was statistically significant. In conclusion, this research establishes a significant positive influence of the ethnoscience-integrated problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. Furthermore, it reaffirms the inadequacy of traditional (expository) teaching in enhancing students' critical thinking abilities.
