Abstract

This paper aims to find out the digital Malay manuscript as a source of studies in the field of Islamic education. Malay manuscript is one of the nation's documents written manually using Arabic-Malay characters and in Malay. This means that the Malay manuscript is a stroke of the local genius of the nation and is an intellectual icon of the people of his day. But along with advances in technology, the Malay manuscript also experienced development through this technology by means of digitalization. In terms of methodology, this paper is a study of historical and cultural heritage involving Malay manuscript, so this study uses descriptive qualitative methods that are linked to analysis and interpretation and finally focuses on content analysis. At the end of the study it was found that in addition to the Quran and Hadith which are the sources of Islamic education studies, it turns out that the digital Malay manuscript can be used as the next source, because the Malay manuscript is a legacy of cultural heritage that is loaded with noble values of life such as social, political, religious, educational, culture, economics, language, literature and so on. Therefore, digital Malay manuscript is an ICT-based innovation that can be used as a source of study of Islamic education. Digital Malay manuscripts are very easy to obtain because in various places where Malay manuscripts have been digitalized, scientists can use them. In addition, digital Malay manuscripts can be accessed through the internet with various sites.

Abstract

This paper wants to explain the principles of education as a scientific discipline and its contribution mainly in shaping the exemplary of students. This paper departs from the discussion of the philosophy of goals and principles of Islamic education, then the basic concepts of the principles of Islamic education, and then the example of students. This discussion uses a philosophical approach by prioritizing religious principles. The results of this discussion found that in Islamic education there are integral principles, balanced, part of the rububiyah process, forming a whole human being, always related to religion, open, maintaining individual differences, and Islamic education is dynamic. These principles contribute to shaping student exemplary, which can be seen in terms of adhering to the discipline of learning in school, looking and dressing neatly, favored by all school communities, and active in various school activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) se-Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data sekunder yang bersumber dari sebuah tesis tahun 2023. Data penelitian berupa skor total variabel persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah (X1) dan kinerja guru (Y) yang diperoleh dari tabulasi data penelitian. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 48 responden guru. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square (χ²). Sebelum dilakukan pengujian, data skor total dikategorikan ke dalam kategori tinggi dan rendah berdasarkan nilai median masing-masing variabel. Hasil pengkategorian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 17 responden pada kategori persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah tinggi dan kinerja guru tinggi, 7 responden pada kategori persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah tinggi dan kinerja guru rendah, 3 responden pada kategori persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah rendah dan kinerja guru tinggi, serta 21 responden pada kategori persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah rendah dan kinerja guru rendah. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai χ² hitung sebesar 16,80 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) sebesar 1. Nilai tersebut lebih besar daripada χ² tabel sebesar 3,841 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₁) diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi guru tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) se-Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi guru terhadap kompetensi manajerial kepala madrasah, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan kinerja guru.
