Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an effect of the implementation of discipline and exemplary teachers on student learning discipline in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP Negeri Lima Puluh District, Pekanbaru City. This research is based on the problem of low student learning discipline. The research method uses quantitative research using correlational analysis techniques. The population in this study were all students of SMPN in Lima Puluh District, Pekanbaru City, totaling 2,459 people. The sample in this study was taken with a proportionate random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, namely 346 people. Data collection was done by using a questionnaire technique, the data collected was analyzed using multiple regression analysis, namely Y = a + b1X1 + b2 X2. The results of this study indicate the value of R2 (coefficient of determination) or R Square of 0.472 or 47.2%. This value can be interpreted that the change in the discipline of student learning by the change in the value of the independent variable in the implementation of discipline and teacher's role model is 47.2%, while 52.8% is determined by changes in other factors. The tcount value for the discipline implementation variable is 14,832 with sig. 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, this means that there is an effect of discipline implementation on student learning discipline and tcount for teacher exemplary variables is 2.234 with sig. 0.026 is smaller than 0.05, this means that there is an effect of teacher modeling on student learning discipline. It can be concluded that there is an influence between the implementation of discipline and teacher exemplary on student learning discipline in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP Negeri Lima Puluh District, Pekanbaru City.TRANSLATE with x EnglishArabicHebrewPolishBulgarianHindiPortugueseCatalanHmong DawRomanianChinese SimplifiedHungarianRussianChinese TraditionalIndonesianSlovakCzechItalianSlovenianDanishJapaneseSpanishDutchKlingonSwedishEnglishKoreanThaiEstonianLatvianTurkishFinnishLithuanianUkrainianFrenchMalayUrduGermanMalteseVietnameseGreekNorwegianWelshHaitian CreolePersian //  TRANSLATE with COPY THE URL BELOW Back EMBED THE SNIPPET BELOW IN YOUR SITE Enable collaborative features and customize widget: Bing Webmaster PortalBack//

Abstract

Physical activity in early childhood has a significant influence on brain growth and development. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature study to evaluate the impact of physical activity on various aspects of child development, such as motor skills, emotions, and the immune system. The results showed that regular and routine physical activity can improve motor skills, as well as strengthen children's immune system. In addition, physical activities that are tailored to the age and ability of the child and supported by a conducive environment can help maximize the potential of children's brain growth and development. Therefore, education and support from parents, educators, and communities in promoting active lifestyles for children is essential to support children's optimal health and development.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology brings both positive impacts and risks, particularly for young children who are vulnerable to negative content such as cyberporn. This research aims to determine the level of understanding among young children regarding internet ethics and the role of teachers and parents in preventing exposure to cyberporn content. The study was conducted at PAUD Al-Mukhlisin, Medan Deli, involving 15 children aged 5–6 years, 3 classroom teachers, and 10 parents. The method used was qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including observation and interviews. The results indicate that children's understanding of internet ethics is still low, and only a small proportion of children are aware of the importance of restricting access to certain content. The role of teachers in introducing digital ethics is still limited, while most parents have not optimally supported their children while using the internet. However, the provision of educational media such as animated videos and activity sheets has proven effective in enhancing children's understanding of wise internet use. This research emphasises the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in fostering children's digital literacy from an early age to prevent exposure to cyberporn.

Abstract

This article discusses a study about the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS)cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. The study was a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted on class V of SDN 61 Pekanbaru and MIN 3 Pekanbaru in the academic year of 2021/2022. Class V which was studied at each school consisted of 32 students in the controlclass and 34 students in the experimental class at SDN 61 Pekanbaru. Class V at MIN 3 Pekanbaru consisted of 31 students in the control class and 34 students in the experimental class. The control class was treated without the TPS model and the experimental class was given the TPS model treatment by using the material of flat shapes. The results showed that the average of students from class V SDN 61 and MIN 3 increased after the implementation of the TPS learning model with average scores from 72.5 to 89.7 and 71.7 to 83.2 for each school. The results of the hypotheses significance from each school were 0.013 < 0.05 for class V atSDN 61 Pekanbaru and 0.006 < 0.05 for class V at MIN 3 Pekanbaru. It means that Ha was accepted, and Ho was rejected. Thus, it is proven that there was a significant effect of the TPS learning model on the students’ mathematical communication skills from class V SDN 61 Pekanbaru and MIN 3 Pekanbaru.
