Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the problems of Arabic teachers’ professional competence in improving the quality of the graduates at MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi. Phenomenology, scientific approach, and a formal juridical approach were used as the method in this study. This study belonged to a case study. The result of this study showed that the main problems related to the teacher’s professional competence in teaching and learning Arabic were an unsuitable academic qualification, the lack of teachers’ welfare, teachers’ discipline and awareness, tutoring, and training. The implication of this study indicated that teachers’ professional competence to improve the quality of the graduates had been implemented. However, the implementation of teachers’ professional competence was considered less than optimal. It influenced the quality of the graduates. In other words, the objectives of teaching and learning activities were not achieved. Therefore, in this case, teachers as the most important factor in teaching and learning processes should improve their competences as a manifestation to improve the quality of the graduates.

Abstract

الكلام الخبري واحد من علم المعاني. وهو يبين عن الصدق والكذب في الكلام. فإن كان الكلام يطابق بالواقع فهو صادق وإن كان لايطابق بالواقع فهو كاذب. الكلام الخبري يملك الأغراض والأجناس في إلقاء الكلام، وبفهم الكلام الخبري مع أغراضه وأنواعه، يستطيع المخاطب أن يعلم الأغراض من الكلام. أما الهدف في هذا البحث فهو توضيح أغراض الخبر في سورة الكهف من الآية الأولى حتى الآية الخمسين مستعينا بنظرية تحليل الخطاب لديلهيمس (Dell Hymes) المتكونة من ثمان عناصر مجتمعة في كلمة ((S.P.E.A.K.I.N.G، وهذا البحث يقتصر على ثلاثة عناصر فقط وهي: الموقف(situation)، المشارك (participant)، والغرض (end).وبعد إجراء البحث بطريقة التحليل الوصفي وتصميم تحليل المحتوي، وجد الباحث أنّ عدد الكلام الخبري من حيث أغراضه في سورة الكهف من الآية الأولى إلى الآية الخمسين هو 25 آية، وهو يتكون من فائدة الخبرعددها 18 جملة، لازم الفائدة عدده جملتان، الوعظ والإرشاد عدده 12 جملة، التوبيخ عدده جملتان، الوعيد عدده 3 جمل، المدح عدده 3 جمل، تذكير الفرق في مستويات عدده جملتان وتشجيع لنيل الحصولعلى شيئ عدده 4 جمل. والكلام الخبري من حيث أنواعه يتكون من الإبتدائي عدده 25 جملة، والطلبي عدده 6 جمل والإنكاري عدده جملتان.الكلمات المفتاحية:  أغراض الخبر؛ براغماتية؛ نظرية speaking؛ سورة الكهف.Abstrak Kalām khabarī merupakan salah satu kajian ilmu ma‘āni. Kalām ini menjelaskan tentang kemungkinan benar atau salahnya suatu tuturan. Khabar dikatakan benar jika sesuai dengan kenyataan dan dikatakan salah jika tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan. Kalām khabarī memiliki tujuan dan jenis dalam penyampaian suatu tuturan, dengan memahami kalām khabarī beserta tujuan dan jenis-jenisnya, mitra tutur akan mampu mengetahui tujuan dari suatu tuturan (agrād al-khabar). Adapun tujuan penilitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap makna agrād al-khabar yang terkandung dalam Alquran surah Al-Kahfi dari ayat 1-50dan dilengkapi dengan teori peristiwa tutur (Dell Hymes) yang terdiri dari delapan unsur fonem yaitu (S.P.E.A.K.I.N.G). Namun dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya menggunakan tiga unsur fonem saja, di antaranya: S: (Setting), P: (Participant), dan E: (End).Setelah diadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan dengan desain analisis konten, peneliti memperoleh temuan bahwa jumlah kalām khabarī dari segi tujuan tuturan dalam surah Al-Kahfi dari ayat 1-50 adalah 25 ayat, yang terdiri atas: fāidah al-khabar 18 kalimat, lāzim al-fā’idah dua kalimat, al-wa‘ẓu wa al-irsyādu 12 kalimat, al-taubīkh dua kalimat, al-wa‘īd tigakalimat, al-madḥu tiga kalimat, tadzkīr al-farqi fī mustawiyātin dua kalimat, tasyjī‘un linaili al-husūl ‘alā syai’in empat kalimat, dan dari segi jenisnya, terdiri atas: kalām khabarī ibtidā’i 25 kalimat, kalām khabarī thalabī enam kalimat dan kalām khabarī inkāri dua kalimat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Arabic question items for the end of the regional joint madrasah (UAMBD) exam for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. After conducting research using qualitative descriptive methods with purposive sampling techniques. The result showed that (1) the validity of the contents of the Arabic UAMBD MI Year 2018 shows a very high. This is showed by the level of 100% compatibility of all the items with the specified lattice; (2) UAMBD MI year 2018 Arabic questions have a high level of reliability or consistency, with a test score of 0.68 (at intervals of 0.60-0.80). It can be stated that the use of Arabic in UAMBD in 2018 can be trusted. If the results in terms of difficulties are 63.23% (0.63), it can be said to a standard test; (3) the difference in power shows it is acceptable at 31.4% and acceptable but needs to be improved at 25.7%; and (4) the distribution of 11 question items in Arabic UAMBD MI 2018 has a very good distribution of answer choices (distractors/deceivers); five good questions; six items lacking; nine bad questions; and four items are terrible.

Abstract

This research reports on the analysis of Arabic textbooks for elementary schools that have been published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia based on American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines. This research examined the competencies to be achieved from the practice of using textbooks in teaching Arabic based on the instructional objectives and concept maps included in the textbooks. The results of the study showed that the teaching materials had contained in the Arabic language textbooks for elementary school 1st, 2nd and 3th grade and had reflected ACTFL standards at a low novice level. These textbooks apart from being an authentic learning resource and promoting innovative learning can also be put into practice by teachers with formulated instructional ideas and strategies. The study findings reflect pedagogical discussions about teaching Arabic as a foreign language and allow teachers to build their creativity to practice contextual and transformative learning based on the standards formulated in textbooks.

Abstract

Abstract: Religious character is the principal capital teachers must teach students in schools. The religious character formed from a religious footing will allow someone to measure everything. Therefore, strengthening religious character must be seen as a conscious and planned effort by the teacher, not an effort that occurs by chance. This study aimed to explore in depth the implementation of strengthening student character through the internalization of religious character values carried out by teachers in Cianjur district schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Furthermore, data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the highest percentage of strengthening students' character through internalization of religious values carried out by teachers to students was the value of worship, as much as 95%. At the same time, the patient value has the lowest percentage, 75%. This shows that the value of patience must be increased again in its cultivation both in learning and outside the classroom. Abstrak: Karakter religius merupakan modal utama yang harus diajarkan oleh guru kepada siswa di sekolah. Karakter religius yang terbentuk dari pijakan religius akan memungkinkan seseorang untuk mengukur segala sesuatu. Oleh karena itu, penguatan karakter religius harus dilihat sebagai upaya sadar dan terencana oleh guru, bukan upaya yang terjadi secara kebetulan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali secara mendalam tentang pelaksanaan penguatan karakter siswa melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter religius yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Selanjutnya pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase paling tinggi dari penguatan karakter siswa melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai religius yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada siswa adalah nilai ibadah sebanyak 95%. Sedangkan nilai sabar memiliki persentase paling rendah yaitu 75%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai sabar mesti ditingkatkan kembali dalam penanamannya baik dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas.
