Abstract

Teaching foreign languages, such as Arabic in Indonesia, requires a very large effort from a teacher or lecturer and requires a variety of methods and media. Through this activity, teachers will be provided with various findings of innovative learning methodologies and guided by national Arabic language experts. The purpose of this service is that Arabic language teachers can be proficient in utilizing user-friendly digital modes in learning. The study used seminar and discussion methods, with the number of participants being 30 Arabic/PAI teachers in Bandung Regency. Each teacher will be trained and assisted to apply various theories presented by experts related to various digital modes of learning. The research findings show a high value in the assessment of teacher enthusiasm for training, as well as an assessment that the use of digital mode is a solution and an alternative method in teaching Arabic, especially during the pandemic. This service is expected to be the first step to continue developing user-friendly digital mode development workshops for teachers.

Abstract

Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) is used as a learning method that treats differences in student abilities; this is considered appropriate for Nahwu learning. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on Nahwu's learning activities using Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) through the involvement of lecturers and students. This study uses a qualitative approach; the participants are non-Arabic speaking Nahwu students in Indonesia, totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques are using observation, structured interviews, and using questionnaires. The results showed that there were implications for the use of Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) in learning motivation, as indicated by an increase in scores on the evaluation of students' Nahwu understanding abilities and perceptions that showed a good assessment of this method. The recommendation of this research is the preparation of teaching materials based on Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) for Nahwu learning that can be done at universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: Religious character is the principal capital teachers must teach students in schools. The religious character formed from a religious footing will allow someone to measure everything. Therefore, strengthening religious character must be seen as a conscious and planned effort by the teacher, not an effort that occurs by chance. This study aimed to explore in depth the implementation of strengthening student character through the internalization of religious character values carried out by teachers in Cianjur district schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Furthermore, data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the highest percentage of strengthening students' character through internalization of religious values carried out by teachers to students was the value of worship, as much as 95%. At the same time, the patient value has the lowest percentage, 75%. This shows that the value of patience must be increased again in its cultivation both in learning and outside the classroom. Abstrak: Karakter religius merupakan modal utama yang harus diajarkan oleh guru kepada siswa di sekolah. Karakter religius yang terbentuk dari pijakan religius akan memungkinkan seseorang untuk mengukur segala sesuatu. Oleh karena itu, penguatan karakter religius harus dilihat sebagai upaya sadar dan terencana oleh guru, bukan upaya yang terjadi secara kebetulan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali secara mendalam tentang pelaksanaan penguatan karakter siswa melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter religius yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Selanjutnya pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase paling tinggi dari penguatan karakter siswa melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai religius yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada siswa adalah nilai ibadah sebanyak 95%. Sedangkan nilai sabar memiliki persentase paling rendah yaitu 75%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai sabar mesti ditingkatkan kembali dalam penanamannya baik dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas.

Abstract

Guru TKQ dan DTA yang merupakan pendidik di tingkat PAUD sekaligus fasilitator kepada siswanya dalam menyampaikan materi belum memaksimalkan media pembelajaran digital. Padahal di era sekarang ini, media pembelajaran digital sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat siswa semangat dalam belajarnya, apalagi di tengah pandemi Covid 19. Dampak pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan media digital adalah kejenuhan siswa dan kurangnya semangat dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai sebagaimana mestinya. Literasi digital menempati peran yang sangat penting dalam permasalahan ini sebagai solusi dan antisipasi dalam menghadapi tantangan digital di era revolusi 4.0. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan peserta guru bahasa Arab TKQ dan DTA di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa literasi digital memiliki dampak dan efek langsung pada khazanah media ajar guru, serta partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran aktif dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

This study examines the learning outcomes of Arabic language learning during and after the COVID-19 pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Inayah in Bandung City, Indonesia. Qualitative research methods, including interviews, observations and documentation, were used to analyze the effectiveness of learning methods and factors influencing student learning outcomes. Purposive sampling was employed to select 15 ninth-grade students studying Arabic. The findings of the study reveal several important points. First, there were differences in the learning situation between home and school. Students must help understand Arabic material during online learning and catch up when returning to face-to-face classes. Second, students preferred to learn at school due to a more engaging and interactive environment, while online learning was associated with distractions and reduced motivation. Third, students perceived online methods as monotonous and less effective than post-pandemic methods. Fourth, various learning media were utilized during online learning. Additionally, students reported that even the online platforms couldn't help them study the Arabic language. The study emphasizes the importance of interactive and engaging methods to enhance student learning outcomes. The results contribute to a broader understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Education and provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers. Keywords: Arabic Language Learning, COVID-19, Post-Pandemic, Learning Outcomes   Abstrak Studi ini menguji hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab selama dan setelah pandemi COVID-19 di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Inayah di Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Metode penelitian kualitatif, termasuk wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, digunakan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive dilakukan untuk memilih 15 siswa kelas 9 yang sedang mempelajari bahasa Arab. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa poin penting. Yang pertama, terdapat perbedaan dalam situasi pembelajaran antara di rumah dan di sekolah. Siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami materi bahasa Arab selama pembelajaran daring dan kesulitan mengejar ketertinggalan ketika ke pembelajaran tatap muka. Kedua, siswa lebih memilih pembelajaran di sekolah karena lingkungan yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, sedangkan pembelajaran daring dikaitkan dengan gangguan dan motivasi yang menurun. Ketiga, siswa menganggap metode pembelajaran daring lebih monoton dan kurang efektif dibandingkan dengan metode pasca pandemi. Keempat, berbagai media pembelajaran digunakan selama pembelajaran daring, akan tetapi siswa mengaku bahwa platform daring pun tidak dapat membantu mereka dalam memahami pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya metode yang interaktif dan menarik untuk meningkatkan hasil belaja siswa. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih luas tentang dampak pandemic COVID-19 pada penddikan dan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the material for specialization Arabic textbooks published by the Directorate KSKK the Ministry of Religion Affairs is interactive and can be used for high school level students and their relevance to student abilities. The research method used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method with a literature study design. There is two technique collection; primary sources in the form of Arabic textbooks for class X published by the Directorate KSKK the Ministry of Religion Affairs, and secondary sources in the form of books and journals relevant to related topics. From the results of the analysis carried out, it was concluded that this book was not deemed feasible and suitable for use by students as teaching materials that could support the achievement of the objectives of learning Arabic, both in terms of theory and practice. So it is necessary to make improvements, in terms of content. Hopefully, these findings can become a reference and have positive implications in correcting existing deficiencies.

Abstract

This community service aims to determine the efforts that must be made to strengthen e-learning literacy for vocational students in Pangandaran Regency. This community service method used is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques used are interviews, observation and dedication. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman technique, namely, 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, and 3) Verification and conclusion. The result of this study was the discovery of the inability of students and teachers at Pangandaran district Vocational Schools regarding digital E-learning literacy, so reinforcement from students whom the government assisted, institutions and teachers were needed to make this happen. One of the efforts students must make is to understand and study technology and explore teaching resources sent by teachers and discussions in e-learning forums to hone student literacy.

Abstract

Textbooks play an essential role in learning, especially in foreign language learning such as Arabic, which has its complexities. The quality of textbooks greatly determines the success of the teaching and learning process. A good textbook must meet certain criteria to ensure its effectiveness in helping students understand the materials. However, there are currently many choices of Arabic textbooks. However, content errors are still found, so a feasibility analysis is required. This study evaluates the feasibility of an Arabic textbook for grade IX published by the Directorate of KSKK Madrasah, using Tomlinson's theory, which includes 16 criteria for good textbooks. This research uses qualitative methods with content analysis techniques. The first step in this research is to compile an instrument in the form of a checklist table consisting of several assessment indicators according to Tomlinson's criteria. Then, the textbook was analyzed comprehensively to assess the suitability of the content with the instrument. The obtained data were then calculated and converted into percentages to determine the feasibility category. The analysis results show that the Arabic textbook for grade IX is highly suitable for Tomlinson's criteria. With a score of 58 out of a maximum score of 64, or 90%, this textbook falls into the “Good” category. This conclusion is supported by high scores on most of the assessment indicators, indicating that this textbook meets the established standards in various aspects of foreign language learning. The Arabic textbook for grade IX is reckoned as a highly feasible learning media. However, some aspects still require improvement, such as aspects of variety, unplanned discourse, optional extras, etc. Improvements in these aspects aim to improve the quality of textbooks, which impacts the effectiveness of learning and ensures student achievement is in line with the expected competencies.

Abstract

The progress of human life is influenced by the development of science and technology. The rapid development of information technology today in the current era of globalization cannot be avoided anymore its influence on the world of education. Archive management in universities is very important because from the archives created, all aspects of the activities that occur in the college are illustrated. However, archive management that aims to tidy up activity data actually raises problems or obstacles, one of which is the opportunity to lose lecturer data archives both related to education, research, community service and other supporting elements. The purpose of this research is to have an application program for online-based lecturers' academic archives. This study uses research and development methods. To meet this goal, a Quality Information System was created https://sim-arabupi.com which is a web-based information system that manages the internal data of the Arabic Language Education Department.
