Abstract

Waste cooking oil is one of household waste. Waste cooking oil is usually disposed to the sewers or gardens. Utilization of waste cooking oil is by recycling it into a solid soap product. The production of solid soap from waste cooking oil is a solution to reduce waste. There are various formulas for making soap products from waste cooking oil. In order to utilize waste cooking oil becomes maximal dan useful, it is necessary to select the best formula for further development. The research begins by identifying the soap formula with a simple process. The identification results obtained six soap formulas that can be produced on a household scale. The six soap formulas were then produced and tested according to Indonesia’s national standards (SNI). The method used to select the best formula was Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which involved four partisipants as experts. The result of the decision of the best soap formula is Soap 6. Meanwhile, the three priority attributes for decision-making are soap standard (SNI), cleaning power, and the ability to hold bacteria.

Abstract

Peran teknologi pada masyarakat dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar. Teknologi berfungsi sebagai enabler untuk setiap proses dalam berbagai bidang terutama untuk layanan publik. Bila teknologi yang dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhan dan digunakan maka dapat memberikan banyak manfaat. Kemudahan dan manfaat teknologi dirasakan cukup besar untuk masyarakat saat ini. Namun, kesiapan dari masyarakat terhadap teknologi masih belum mencapai harapan dari instalasi teknologi tersebut. Sehingga masih ditemukan tingkat keberhasilan yang cukup rendah dari teknologi pada berbagai organisasi, di mana dalam perancangan dan pemeliharaan teknologi tersebut dibutuhkan pendanaan yang cukup besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan masyarakat kota Yogyakarta terhadap teknologi dan mengklasifikasikan masyarakat pada lima jenis kelompok dalam kesiapan teknologi. Penelitian ini mengklasifikasikan dan memetakan tingkat kesiapan masyarakat menggunakan analisis klaster dan pohon keputusan. Data yang digunakan adalah mengenai demografi, penggunaan teknologi dengan smartphone, dan item pertanyaan Technology Readiness Index (TRI) di tiga kecamatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah k-means clustering dan pohon keputusan. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan software SPSS versi 21 dan RStudio versi 3.5. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga kelompok terhadap kesiapan teknologi di kota Yogyakarta dan karakteristik dari kelompok yang siap terhadap teknologi. Kelompok tersebut adalah pionir, skeptis, dan lamban. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan kepada Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Yogyakarta dan khususnya pada pengelola teknologi layanan publik berbasis teknologi di Pemkot Yogyakarta dalam mengevaluasi teknologi pada layanan publik.

Abstract

The first year in higher education is a crucial time that becomes a fundamental learning momentum for every student. Academic achievements in the college's first year are one of the problems that should be checked. Grade point in the first year becomes one of the success study criteria for the next year at an academic time. In department X of a private university, we found some problems in the courses, such as the mean of graduation time that has not met the target. There is an opinion that the grades of report cards at the time of senior secondary education correlate with the achievement index in the first year of college. This research used Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method and data processing with RStudio version 3.5. The students' data for data processing were from the class of 2015 until 2018. Based on the results, it was found that there was no correlation between student report cards in senior secondary education with grade points for the first and second semesters. However, there was a correlation between report cards scores for Chemistry and Biology so that new student admissions could take report cards scores only for one subject.

Abstract

Latar belakang: penelitian tentang customer satisfaction terkait dengan kualitas layanan pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Muhammadiyah di Yogyakarta. Dalam upayanya meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan pihak Pengurus Daerah Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta saat ini membutuhkan informasi tentang kepuasan para orang tua siswa yang menyekolahkan putra putrinya di Muhammadiyah. Tujuan: 1) Membuat kebijakan tentang peningkatan mutu layanan; 2) Penguatan pada aspek-aspek yang sudah baik dan 3) Menjadikan sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta menjadi sekolah yang unggul. Metode: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepuasan konsumen digunakan model ServQual dengan lima dimensinya, sedangkan untuk memetakan posisi Kinerja dan Harapan digunakan matriks Performance and Importance Analysis. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode Purposive Sampling diambil dari empat Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah di wilayah Kota Yogyakarta Hasi:l Prioritas layanan yang diinginkan oleh para orang tua siswa dari ke-4 Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah di Wilayah Kota Yogyakarta yang pertama adalah komunikasi yang lebih baik antara pihak sekolah dengan para orang tua siswa selama dalam proses pembelajaran putra putrinya di sekolah dan kedua adanya kompetensi pembeda yang dimiliki lulusan terhadap sekolah lainnya ketika siswa lulus sekolah. Secara umum tidak ditemui kinerja yang tidak memuaskan terkait dengan sarana prasarana pada ke-4 Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah di Wilayah Kota Yogyakarta karena ke-4 sekolah tersebut tergolong sekolah Muhammadiyah favourit di Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract

Plastic waste is an inorganic waste that can pollute the environment and is difficult to decompose. Recycling of plastic waste has not been widely used because the selling price is not too high. So, plastic waste is simply thrown away then ends up in the landfill and reducing soil fertility. Eco-brick is the product solution for plastic waste management. The Kamulyan waste bank searched to accommodate and reuse plastic waste into eco-bricks which greatly assists the management of plastic waste in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted to determine the economic feasibility of the eco-bricks as the product of recycling activity. The research method used the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for analyzing the economic feasibility of investment activities carried out by the Kamulyan Waste Bank. The results were feasible for NPV with positive values at Rp 1.331.313 and 9,32% as the rate of return for IRR. The BCR was not feasible cause the BCR was lower than the standard value. Recycling activities provide direct benefits in the form of net profit derived from the sale of recycled products of Rp 1.741.421 from 2020 to 2021. The indirect benefits were being able to reduce the accumulation of plastic waste PET bottles and sachets in Yogyakarta by 0.008% and reducing plastic waste management costs of Rp 1.069.636,84.
