Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to describe the interest and learning activity and learning outcomes by using cardboard puppet as the media. Method used was classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles to increase the learning interest and learning activity. Data collection tools used were observation, photo documentation and testing, it was done as a basic for interpreting the results of the research of each cycle. Learning model by using cardboard puppet as media in learning Social Studies can increase the learning interest, learning activity and learning outcomes if learning process was conducted by using method which make students feel joyfull so that student can participate enthusiastically. Using cardboard puppet as media can improved the learning activity with focus on teacher explanation, enthusiasm in dealing with assignment, to ask questions and answer questions.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat dan aktivitas belajar serta hasil belajar dengan menggunakan media wayang kardus. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dengan 3 siklus untuk meningkatkan minat dan aktivitas belajar. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, dokumentasi foto dan tes, hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai dasar untuk menafsirkan hasil penelitian di setiap siklus. Model pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media wayang kardus dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan minat belajar, aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa jika proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan menggunakan metode yang dapat membuat siswa merasa senang sehingga siswa dapat mengikuti pelajaran dengan penuh semangat. Menggunakan media wayang kardus dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dengan perhatian terhadap penjelasan guru, antusias dalam mengerjakan tugas, mengajukan pertanyaan dan menjawab pertanyaan.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, media wayang kardus, minat

Abstract

Fiber PVA yang memuat partikel nano TiO2 anatase telah berhasil dibuat dengan metode elektrospining. Fiber tersebut dibuat dari larutan yang merupakan campuran serbuk nano TiO2 anatase  dalam 10%  larutan PVA dengan rasio TiO2/PVA terbesar mencapai 60%. Proses elektrospining dilakukan pada tegangan 15 kV dengan jarak ujung anoda ke kolektor (TCD) sejauh 15 cm. Hasil analisis SEM diameter fiber dari tiap-tiap variasi rasio massa menunjukan perubahan rasio TiO2/PVA berpengaruh terhadap diameter fiber. Perlakuan pemanasan pada suhu 300pada fiber tidak mengubah fase kristalin TiO2 dan juga tidak memperlihatkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap diameter fiber. Namun demikian perlakuan panas tersebut dapat mereduksi ukuran partikel TiO2. Fiber yang dihasilkan mempunyai rentang diameter dari 100 -700 nm dan partikel TiO2 yang termuat pada fiber PVA memiliki rentang ukuran partikel 50 -180 nm. Hasil analisis serapan sinar UV menunjukan terjadinya serapan sinar UV pada daerah UVB, dengan demikian fiber hasil elektrospining potensial untuk digunakan sebagai fotokatalis.Kata kunci : Fiber, Polivinil Alkohol, Titanium Oksida, Elektrospining

Abstract

Perencanaan pembangunan daerah merupakan pedoman pelaksanaan pembangunan serta menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan pembangunan daerah. Salah satu aspek penting bagi keberhasilan perencanaan pembangunan daerah adalah terdapatnya badan atau satuan kerja yang baik serta adanya sistem informasi yang mendukung. Aplikasi berbasis sistem informasi yang digunakan dalam perencanaan pembangunan daerahadalah Simrenda. Keberadaan Simrenda diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas perencanaan pembangunan daerah, sehingga realisasi pembangunan dapat tercapai secara optimal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaplikasian Simrenda masih belum efektif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh minimnya upaya identifikasi permasalahan pembangunan daerah, terbatasnya kemampuan sumber daya manusia di BAPPEDA serta tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap hasil pembangunan daerah di Kabupaten Balangan yang masih rendah.

Abstract

Food plants are very important to be cultivated by rural communities as providers of food for survival. Sidorejo Village, Rowokangkung sub-district, Lumajang district was chosen as the village for the Lumajang University Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) service. This KKN aims to emphasize the delivery of education to the Sidorejo village community on the importance of processing and using husk charcoal and organic liquid ZPT in food plants. The method used to realize an advanced Sidorejo village with food security is the first by making husk charcoal and organic liquid ZPT which is carried out by KKN students under the auspices of the Lumajang University LPPM. The husk charcoal and organic liquid ZPT produced will be given to the people of Sidorejo so that they can be applied to the community's food plants. The second method is outreach activities to the people of Sidorejo village regarding the importance of the benefits of husk charcoal and organic ZPT on the growth and development of food plants in Sidorejo village. Counseling to the people of Sidorejo through increasing the productivity of community food plants by utilizing materials that are easily found around the environment. The third method is the arrangement and maintenance of the continuity of Pawon Urip and the fourth is the stage. The results of the study were the creation of two products in the form of husk charcoal and organic liquid ZPT as well as increasing public knowledge on how to increase community food plant productivity and the movement to better maintain the survival of Pawon Urip Sidorejo plants so that they were growth and neatly arranged. Abstract

Writing ability at The Second Semester Students in one of Private High School in Pemtangsiantar indicated low enough. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of three cooperative learning techniques, namely, Jigsaw, Students Teams – Achievement Division (STAD) and Think-Pair-Share (TPS). The research design used in this study was quantitative approach with an experimental. The samples were Second Semester Students of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. The data of this research were gained from the score Narrative Text Test that analyzed by using One Way ANNOVA. The research finding showed that (1) Jigsaw Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05. STAD Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05.  TPS Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05, it means Jigsaw, STAD and TPS can affect the students ability in writing. (2) The increasing percentage of Jigsaw Teaching Technique to 75%, Students Teams – Achievement Division (STAD) to 68% and Think-Pair-Share (TPS) to 57%. (3) The result of data Analysis by One Way Annova indicate that Significant values is 0.043 which is < 0.05, and Fvalue is 3.305 > T Table 3.16, it means there is one Teaching Technique more significant there the other technique. Here Jigsaw Teaching Technique more Significant than STAD or TPS. In Jigsaw Teaching Technique, The mean difference is significant at the 0.05 level.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh produk domestik regional bruto dan produktivitas tenaga kerja terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari uji normalitas, multikolonieritas, heteroskedastisitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis terdiri dari uji simultan dan uji perisal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Produk domestik regional bruto berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua (2) Produktivitas tenaga kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua dan (3) Produk domestik regional bruto dan produktivitas tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan atau hipotesis tidak terbukti. Kata Kunci: PDRB; produktivitas tenaga kerja; kemiskinan.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to determine the effect of professionalism, personality on teacher performance partially and simultaneously. The method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, namely an approach that uses numbers that are processed through non-parametric statistical analysis in analyzing correlational research results. This research is included in the associative type, which contains a complete picture of the relationship between one variable and another variable, has a linear relationship type, because basically it wants to see the relationship between the independent variables, namely teacher professionalism and personality, with a sample size of 51 people. The conclusion of the research simultaneously that professionalism and personality variables have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance can be seen where the F-count value > F-table (27.672 > 2.790), partially the professionalism variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance where the t-count value > t-table (3.295 > 2.000), and partially the personality variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance where the value of tcount > ttable (3.884 > 2.000).

Abstract

Technology in this era is growing rapidly, especially in the field of computers and technology. Where we can see that these developments can facilitate the work of humans or employees and employees. In the education sector, computer science is needed so that teachers can easily provide up-to-date material and are not left behind in today's very rapid technological developments. For this reason, training on programming-based computer science is needed. Many teachers or employees in their understanding of knowing computers are only limited to Ms. Because of that, Office is often used in daily activities. In computer science, there are actually many applications/programs that can make work easier. For this reason, this training was created to introduce one of the application programs in computer science, namely the Visual Studio Net application and the PHPMyAdmin Database. In the training activities carried out at the UISU Siantar Project Islamic Private Vocational School to build a desktop-based information system development process or an application embedded in a computer.
