Abstract

This study aimed to determine theeffectiveness of seating formation towards student learning outcomes on interactions between organisms and their environmentsubject. The research design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent groups. The population was all students of VII grade of Junior High School 1 Gadingrejo. The samples were VII8, VII9, and VII10grades student which were selected by purposive sampling technique. This research data were the result of students pretest-posttest, students self-assessment sheets affective aspects, and students observation sheets psychomotor aspects. Cognitive aspects of learning outcome data were analyzed by One-Way Anova test and by Independent Sample t-test, affective and psychomotor aspects learning outcomes were analyzed by Qualitative Achievement Index and calculated the score improvement. The results showed that the I experiment class had the highest cognitives N-gain and score improvement (affective and psychomotor). So, there were differences of effectiveness of the three seating formations that applied towards student learning outcomes on interactions between organisms and their environment subject.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas formasi tempat duduk terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya. Desain penelitian ini adalah desain pretes-postes non ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII8, VII9, dan VII10yang diambil dengan teknikpurposivesampling. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh melalui pretes-postes, lembar penilaian diri aspek afektif siswa, dan lembar pengamatan aspek psikomotorik siswa. Data aspek kognitif kemudian dianalisis dengan ujiOne-Way Anovayang dilanjutkan dengan ujiIndependent Sample t-test, data aspek afektif dan aspek psikomotorik dianalisis menggunakan IPK serta dihitung peningkatan nilainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen I memilikiN-gainkognitifdanpeningkatan nilai (afektif dan psikomotorik) tertinggi. Jadi, terdapat perbedaan efektivitas dari ketiga formasi tempat duduk yang diterapkan terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya.Kata kunci:efektivitas, formasi tempat duduk, hasil belajar

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials based on local wisdom to improve learning activities, student learning outcomes and student responses to the use of teaching materials based on local wisdom. The sample in this study is 22 students in grade IV SDN 1 Kuripan District Pesisir Utara Regency Pesisir Barat. Sampling of this study uses Total Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using pretest, posttest, activity observation sheets and student questionnaire responses. The research data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that teaching materials based on local wisdom affect the learning activities of students as a whole with good criteria. Improved learning outcomes (n-Gain) have an average of 0.66 included in the medium criteria. So that teaching materials based on local wisdom are effective to improve learning activities and learning outcomes of students on matter caring for living things.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar peserta didik dan Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 22 peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Kuripan Kecamatan Pesisir Utara Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan nilai pretes, postes, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket tanggapan peserta didik. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal berpengaruh pada aktivitas belajar peserta didik secara keseluruhan berkriteria baik. Peningkatan hasil belajar (n-Gain) memiliki rata-rata 0,66 termasuk dalam kriteria sedang. Sehingga bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi peduli terhadap makhluk hidup.Kata kunci: aktivitas peserta didik, bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal, hasil belajar, peduli terhadap makhluk hidup

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the influence of discovery learning model toward students critical thinking ability. The research design was pretest-posttest non equivalent. The samples of this research were the students of class VIID and VIIA SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung who were chosen by using purposive sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average score of pretest, posttest and N-gain which was tested by using T-test and U-test. The qualitative data were the students learning activities which were analyzed by descriptive analysis had an increase viewed from the average of N-gain of experiment class was 57,08. It is significantly different from control class was 25,33. The average of increase of students activity from the indicator of giving a simple explanation, building the basic creativity, giving further explanation and concluding had high criteria. It could be assumed that the learning using discovery learning model has an influence in increasing students critical thinking ability in the basic competence of the characteristic living creature.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIID dan VIIA SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif berupa rata-rata nilai pretest, posttest dan N-gain yang di uji menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar (57,08) berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (25,33). Rata-rata peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada indikator memberikan penjelasan sederhana, membangun keterampilan dasar, memberikan penjelasan lanjut dan menyimpulkan berkriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, discovery learning, pengaruh

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the validity and practicality of life organization systems practical guidebook which was developed by ADI model. The researchs design was R D with 4-D model covered define, design, develope, and disseminate, but disseminate stage was not done. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive. The practical guidebook was made by an interesting cover. Each practical guidebook consisted; practicals title, theoretical base, objectives, research questions, tools, materials, work steps, argumentation scheme, argumentation sessions and reports. Expert and practitioner validation results showed that the valid with category "excellent". The results of the legibility test by the students indicate that the practical category is "excellent". The results of the implementation test of all practicum procedures showed that practically was almost all activities performed". Thus, it can be concluded that the guiding book of life organization systems practicum which developed valid and practical.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan praktikalitas buku penuntun praktikum sistem organisasi kehidupan yang dikembangkan dengan model ADI. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan R D dengan model 4-D meliputi define, design, develope, dan disseminate, namun tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Buku penuntun praktikum dibuat dengan sampul yang menarik. Setiap lembar kerja praktikum terdiri atas: judul praktikum, dasar teori, tujuan, pertanyaan penelitian, alat, bahan, langkah kerja, skema argumentasi, sesi argumentasi, dan laporan. Hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi menunjukkan bahwa buku penuntun adalah valid dengan kategori baik sekali. Hasil uji keterbacaan oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa buku penuntun bersifat praktis dengan kategori baik sekali. Hasil uji keterlaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh prosedur praktikum bersifat praktis dengan kriteria hampir seluruh kegiatan terlaksana. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku penuntun praktikum sistem organisasi kehidupan yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis.Kata kunci : Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI), buku penuntun praktikum, sistem organisasi kehidupan

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the difficulties of science teachers in planning and implementing out the assessment. The research design was simple descriptive design. The samples of this research were 30 science teacher at Kemiling sub-district of Bandar Lampung that were selected by using non-probability sampling technique. Data of the teacher difficulties in planning and implementing the assessment were obtained from questionnaires and interviews then analyzed descriptively. The result of the research showed that the average of teachers difficulties in planning the assessment was low (34.06%) and teachers difficulties in implementing out the assessment was low (29.73%). The highest difficulty in planning the assessment was on indicators setting up the assessment grid. While the highest difficulty in implementing the assessment was the psychomotor domain in observing the aspects assessed.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru IPA dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah desain deskriptif sederhana. Sampel penelitian adalah guru IPA SMP se-Kecamatan Kemiling Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 guru yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling non-probability. Data kesulitan guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen diperoleh dari angket dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kesulitan guru dalam merencanakan asesmen tergolong rendah (34,06%) dan kesulitan guru dalam melaksanakan asesmen juga tergolong rendah (29,73%). Kesulitan tertinggi dalam merencanakan asesmen yaitu pada indikator menyusun kisi-kisi asesmen. Sementara kesulitan tertinggi dalam melaksanakan asesmen yaitu pada ranah psikomotorik dalam mengamati aspek yang dinilai.Kata kunci: asesmen, guru IPA, kesulitan, melaksanakan, merencanakan

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the misconceptions and factors that can affected students. The samples were 8th grade student of SMP in sub-district Punggur, Central Lampung that was selected by purposive sampling. The design of this research was descriptive. Data was collected by written test of identification of student misconception and questionnaire. Data misconception analyzed using Certainty of Respons Index (CRI) and factors analyzed using percentage formula and Pearson Product Moment Correlation test. Study result showed that the highest percentage of understanding level to the concept of photosynthesis and plant respiration was misconception that was 58,76%. The students who had misconception on photosynthesis concept were 64,05% with high category. The result of Correlation test showed that was correlation with the opposite direction between students and teachers methods with misconception.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa dan faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP se-Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah berjumlah 289 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriftif sederhana. Pengumpulan data dengan soal tes tertulis identifikasi miskonsepsi siswa dan pemberian angket kepada siswa dan guru. Data miskonsepsi dianalisis menggunakan metode Certainty of Respons Index (CRI) dan faktor dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase dan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa paling tinggi persentasenya adalah kategori Miskonsepsi sebesar 58,76%. Siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep fotosintesis sebesar 63,05% dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil uji menunjukkan adanya korelasi dengan arah korelasi berlawanan arah antara siswa dan metode guru mengajar dengan miskonsepsi.Kata kunci: Certainty of Response Index (CRI), fotosintesis, miskonsepsi, respirasi tumbuhan

Abstract

This research aims were to determine the significance, closeness, and direction of relation, also the amount of contribution between environmental pollution knowledge with environmental responsibility. The method of this research was correlation. Subjects of this research were 101 students grade VIII Junior High School 7th Bandar Lampung. Data of knowledge were obtained by multiple choice tests while data of environmental responsibility were obtained from using questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that there was significant correlation between knowledge with environmental responsibility, with significant value that was 0,000. Level of correlation was weak that was indicated the value of correlation coefficient that was 0,224. There was positive correlation between knowledge with environmental responsibility that showed by the regression equation Y=47.898+0,347x, so the relation between knowledge with environmental responsibility was unidirectional. And, there was very low contribution between knowledge to environmental responsibility which indicated that 5% of determinant coefficient.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi, keeratan, dan arah hubungan, serta besarnya kontribusi antara pengetahuan pencemaran lingkungan dengan environmental responsibility. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 101 siswa. Data pengetahuan diambil menggunakan tes pilihan jamak sedangkan data environmental responsibility diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan environmental responsibility, dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000. Tingkat keeratan hubungan adalah lemah, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,224. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengetahuan dengan environmental responsibility yang ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi Y=47.898+0,347X sehingga arah hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan environmental responsibility adalah searah. Serta terdapat kontribusi yang sangat rendah antara pengetahuan terhadap environmental responsibility dengan koefisien determinansi sebesar 5%.Kata kunci: lingkungan, pencemaran, pengetahuan, responsibility

Abstract

This study aims was to described the junior high school science teachers difficulties in planning and implementing assessment in Kecamatan Tulang Bawang Tengah and Tumijajar. The subjects of this research were 32 teachers that was taken by total sampling technique. Qualitative research data were collected by questionnaire and interviews, and analyzed by desciptive persentage through Milles-Huberman technique model. The result showed that science teachers difficulty in assessment planning include moderate categorywith percentage 36,9%.Science teachers difficulty in assessment implementing had moderate category with percentage 33,7%, with low difficulty in indicator implementation of assessment on cognitive domain (21,6%), moderate difficulty in implementation of assessment on affective (39,6%) and psychomotor domains (39,9%). It can be concluded that the difficulties of science teachers in junior high school in Kecamatan Tulang Bawang Tengah and Tumijajar in assessment planning and implementing including moderate category.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesulitan guru IPA SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tulang Bawang Tengah dan Kecamatan Tumijajar dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 guru yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif, dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase melalui Model Miles-Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesulitan guru IPA dalam merencanakan asesmen termasuk kategori cukup dengan persentase 36,9%. Kesulitan guru IPA dalam melaksanakan asesmen tergolong kategori cukupdengan persentase 33,7%, kesulitan berkategori rendah (21,6%) ditemukan pada indikator pelaksanaan asesmen ranah kognitif, sedangkankesulitan berkategori cukup ditemukan pada pelaksanaan asesmen ranah afektif (39,6%) danpsikomotor (39,9%). Abstract

This study aimed to identify difficulty of VIII grade science teacher at junior high schools sub district Metro central in academic year of 2016 / 2017 in planning and implementing assessments. The samples were 5 teachers who entirely science teacher class VIII and chosen by sampling saturated technique. Design research was descriptive design. Data difficulty teachers in planning and implementing assessments were obtained from the results of questionnaire and interview of science teachers that were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed the average of difficulty experienced teachers in planning and implementing assessments was quite. The main factors that caused teachers had difficulty in planning assessments was make the achievement indicators competence school tuition while that cause teachers had difficulty in implementing assessments was the implementation of the assessments affective domain, especially in observe attitude aspects.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru IPA kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Metro Pusat tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 5 guru yang seluruhnya merupakan guru IPA kelas VIII dan dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Desain penelitian adalah desain deskriptif. Data kesulitan guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen diperoleh dari hasil angket dan wawancara pada guru yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kesulitan yang dialami guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan asesmen tergolong cukup. Faktor utama yang menyebabkan guru cukup kesulitan dalam merencanakan asesmen adalah menetapkan indikator pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik sedangkan yang menyebabkan guru cukup kesulitan dalam melaksanakan asesmen adalah dalam pelaksanaan asesmen ranah afektif, terutama dalam mengamati aspek sikap.Kata Kunci: asesmen, guru IPA, kesulitan, melaksanakan, merencanakan

Abstract
